I have really enjoyed working with Jill. I have some background teaching aerobics and have always enjoyed working out but became busy with life and hit perimenopause. My body was changing and I didn’t like it but was too tired to exercise. I would ride the stationary bike and then I would be so exhausted I couldn’t do anything else. I was falling asleep at 8:30 at night.
Jill starts off slow with you and teaches excellent technique with her strengthening moves. She is patient. She listens when you are not motivated and digs deeper to help you. She pushes you but with a gentle hand. She is super positive and motivating. Her programs vary for different needs.
I am happy to say I am no longer falling asleep early at night. I have the energy to run my household now. I am healthier and have lost inches where I needed to! I fit better into my clothes. I am firmer and have more muscle tone.I am excited to see my progress as my health journey continues because Jill teaches you that this is YOUR journey. It’s no one else’s and that alone is freeing. You are only competing with yourself to be better the next day. I highly recommend her if you want to feel better, make healthy choices and live longer!

I have been working with Jill for almost a year now. Her workout programs are very engaging and effective. For my whole life, I’ve always felt that I have had chubby legs, and now working with her and focusing on nutrition and proper weight training for my age (49), I feel the muscles growing and I see the definition and that feels so great, no matter what the scale says! It's difficult to explain all of the little things that happen to us as we age. I wasn't as active, I didn't have the energy. Body parts started to hurt and nothing seemed to help. I gained weight and tried cardio and restrictive diets, but nothing worked. I thought it was just hormones changing and there was nothing I could do, this was my new life. Enter Jill Ortiz! I've been working with Jill for 4-5 weeks now and I'm blown away. She has debunked all of these negative thoughts and taught me how to take control of my nutrition and dedicate time for exercise. You don't need to spend hours in the gym doing cardio! Her workouts are about 30 min 5-6 times a week and do not require any fancy or unusual equipment, usually just some dumbbells. Sometimes I work out at home, sometimes in a hotel gym, sometimes in my local gym. It all works! I've lost about 7lbs, but it's really not about the weight anymore. I have energy, no more afternoon slump. I feel strong and more mobile. I'm feeling younger than I have in years. Nothing is extreme and there is no judgement if you're not perfect, because guess what...no one is perfect! Jill leads with excitement, honesty, and vulnerability. She's created an amazing group of women that support and celebrate each other. I have easy access to Jill when I need her through zoom calls, our group app, or even a text message. Fit N Fast 2.0 was an awesome program! This was my first time with Jill, I’m 52 started gaining weight without changing my routine. I had my consultation with Jill and we talked like we’ve known each other for years. I have never been a big eater and was doing a strength training with little success. I completed the 3-week Shred challenge with Jill Ortiz. I have done several challenges with Jill. She offers a meal plan but due to some food mild allergies I went on my own and tried my best to eat healthy whole foods for the most part. I will say this was hard with the challenge running the 3 weeks before Christmas with holiday parties and co-workers bringing in homemade treats, but it is also the first year ever that I did not gain but lost a few pounds around the holidays. I could have done better but I live where its cold and comfort foods are on every menu this time of year. It’s also difficult to get fresh veggies this time of year and my 1 local grocer doesn’t carry everything that the larger stores in cites has so a different time of the year would have given me a leg up in accessing a variety of nutritious veggies. What I have learned and what I will carry forward is to do at least a 10 minute workout daily, even if I must skip a day due to a busy life and do double the next. I will strive to get protein each day and stick to the 1 carb allowance at a meal. Always meal prep and I have learned it is also OK to toss the bread on a sandwich and you can have anything in moderation. I might also note that I have continued to lose about a pound a week even after the challenge and hope to be at my goal size very soon. I want to start off saying – if you are here – you want to and just need the encouragement to start a journey to improving YOU. I know I had to kick my negative mindset to the curb, realizing that scrolling on my phone was getting ME absolutely nowhere, not to mention it took way more than 10 minutes out of my day! 😉
With that said, I recently had the opportunity to be a beta tester for Jill’s Ten-Minute Tone Up, and I couldn’t be more impressed! From the very first session, it was clear that this program was designed with both effectiveness and user experience in mind.

I have been in and out f the gym for a long time. I used to see results and was confident in my body, then I got older and was doing everything I used to do that worked, but it wasn’t working. I started doing Jill's 5 day free program for someone that has not worked out in awhile and tried other workouts that were had for me to do and not effective. I absolutely loved the workouts and i could do them with back issues and previous surgery i struggle with certain exercise making my back and sciatic into a flate up but jills programs did not do this they helped my bqck feel alot better a terrific. While helping me to gain strength and loss lots of inches and weight. I have also done her month program where you have access to different programs and the 10 min tester program. I absolutely love her programs as busy mom of 3 all in different sports I do not have much extra time her programs have really helped me to be able to get my workouts in during the week! Sometimes i fall off the wagen and she is so encouraging and love the way she explains things she will even help me with different exercise replacement if it is something that is really strenous for me. For instance my neck has been giving me a fit and she was so kind to send me a video of some different exercises/stretches to try until i can work up to the shoulder regimen in one of her programs. My journey isn't unlike many women who've struggled with the ups and downs of learning your body as we experience the phases of life. I entered my 50s and my body went through yet another challenging phase, menopause. I can't begin to tell you that it's like puberty but in reverse! Jill has been an amazing coach. I had alot of set backs mentally over the last 4 years including sudden onset of debilitating ringing in my ears 24 hours a day. I first saw Jill on Instagram. I was scrolling and saw her post advertising a triple threat challenge. It was a 3 day challenge targeting abs, arms, and booty. Each workout was only 15 minutes long. At the time I was in a slump. I was tired all the time and wasn't active at all. It was partly due to having both hips replaced several months prior and not being able to do a lot of things. It was also partly due to me being lazy and not wanting to do anything. I got used to everyone waiting on me hand and foot. I felt like it was time to do something and pull myself out of the slump I was in. I was tired of tearing up every time I went to my closet because nothing fit me anymore, tired of being lazy, and tired of being tired. So I decided to join Jill's Triple Threat Challenge. I'm so glad I did! The workouts were short but effective. I was impressed how I felt just after these three workouts. I also was impressed with Jill. She's passionate and knowledgeable. She cares about everyone and goes to huge lengths to help them. I like that her workouts are for beginners all the way up to advanced. She always shows modifications for those that are at a lower level. She makes everyone feel included. I just finished the Jill's Killer Abs. I loved it! I feel a lot stronger and more defined. I also am part of the Fit N Fast challenge. It's just been a week but I've lost 6.2 lbs and am feeling stronger and better. I love the workouts. They're only 20 minutes and they work you hard. I love the meal plan Jill created too. The food is easy to prepare and tastes great. I can't wait to see what else Jill how in store for us. I'm glad I found her. If you're looking for a trainer/coach look no further. She's right here and she's the best anyone could ask for.

She teaches you everything you need to know to be successful, it's fun and you don't have to spend hours to see results! Just finished a 4 week fit n fast challenge with Jill. Loved the support of all the women involved. I've been working out regularly since 2018 and Jill's 20 minute strength training workouts were challenging to me. She was always available if I had questions or needed support. I was nearing the end of my weight-loss journey and had hit a brick wall! I couldn't lose those last 5 lbs and was very discouraged with having very little muscle. Family responsibilities had me thinking I had little or no time to achieve my goals or to be consistent and I felt lost.
I was searching for solutions but was very intimidated by some of the options out there AND then I found Jill!!! I immediately felt a connection and knew SHE was going to be part of the solution (I was the other part). Thru completing her 5 day challenge I learned to identify time wasters in my life and make myself a priority. The workouts were inspirational and included modifications that allowed me to complete them and then go back and do them again to near perfection! Not bad for someone about to turn 60!!

Jill is a wonderful trainer. She is "real". She has taught me so many different nutrition methods, it makes it fairly easy to stay on track: menopause, mindful, containers, macros, etc. I finally learned how to prep and how to still have the treats. I no longer feel like I'm cheating or that I failed, I know how to plan for my treats, such as dinner out with friends, a birthday party, etc. It has changed the way I look at food and taken away the stress and anxiety.

Actually should be about 4 1/2 stars. Jill is a great instructor and the exercises she teaches are great! The arm one requires a couple sets of weights, so that is difficult for some, but the exercises are good. The class I took, the Triple Threat Challenge, is more geared toward beginners and has nice quick workouts.
