Jim has a unique way of training people, including those with disabilities like my father. He uses the isometric system which incorporates maximum exercise in a very short period of time. This gives wonderful results. He is able to work on his arms, legs, and the entire core area in a one hour period. Because of this, he has achieved a lot of improvement in all areas of his body in strength and flexibility. Jim’s abilities in training is like no other he has ever had.

After checking training facilities, I decided to train with John Bruno
After an injury my dr recommended strength training
Although I only trained for a few months, I do feel stronger and have no problem going on far away vacations . I am 84 .
John is a very dedicated trainer. He knows exactly how far to push me. He increases slowly the weight I work with and makes sure I never overdo any exercises.
John is an A++ trainer and I would recommend him to anyone.

I found John Bruno when I was looking for a trainer who was willing to incorporate kickboxing in the workouts. I never cared much for weightlifting, but I knew I needed it, so I said I wanted most of the workout to focus on weights, and my “reward” would be boxing.
I have injured myself in the past with weights, so I tend to be overcautious. Bruno teaches me proper form and makes sure I follow it. He also has good judgment about what I’m able to do, and encourages me increase weight when I doubt myself, so I have learned to trust his judgment.
Because of my ignorance in the past, I was reluctant to walk into a gym and use weights; I did not like to appear weak or ignorant. Now I walk into gyms with confidence, no longer intimidated by people around me. I’ve also learned to enjoy weights because I know I’m able to use them properly.
Bruno make workouts challenging and enjoyable. I highly recommend him! 💪🥊

I’ve been a student of John Bruno for about four years now, originally coming in with a broken squat and knee pain. In a reasonable amount of time, John had my pain eliminated and my squat lean fixed, which led to state records and competition wins. I feel SAFE when I’m training with attentiveness that should be present in personal training. The thought given to my training criteria is demonstrated and organized; recorded. Training with John is an amazing experience. My wife and I look forward to it every week (3 times per week). We appreciate his deep wisdom, support, encouragement, and humor. He challenges us to reach past our limiting beliefs on what is possible while respecting our need to move at a pace that ultimately feels right to us. I approached John after receiving low bone density lab results. I sent him recent research (LIFTMOR-M trials) on bone density and weight training. He took the time to carefully review the research and sent back many insightful comments showing a deep understanding of the science and my own concerns. He did very thorough initial evaluations and listened carefully to our goals. He makes sure that our form is correct down to the finest detail for our safety and maximum gains. And despite his vast experience in strength training, he remains open to critically reflecting on new ideas. He is the perfect example of what an excellent coach should be. Highly recommended! John Bruno has a thorough knowledge of the art and science of training. He carefully evaluates your physical abilities and tailors his program to your goals, ability, and fitness. After decades of experience training thousands of people, he can explain in detail why he recommends doing or avoiding a particular set of exercises. He can adjust your training to compensate for injuries and physical disabilities. He gives careful demonstrations of each exercise and insists on good form to prevent injury. I’ve been a licensed massage therapist for over ten years and I have seen many personal trainers come and go, but I have not encountered any with such expertise like at John Bruno strength and conditioning. I have been working with them for over six years and I have yet to find some who compares. I recommend all of my clients seeking personal training to go see them. John's knowledge and training expertise is exceptional. In March of 2019 I started working with John taking strength training lessons twice a week. As a 71 year old retired male, I decided that I needed to increase my overall strength and body conditioning. I respect John's extensive knowledge and abilities. At my age it is not uncommon to have new aches and pains that can impact a training regime. John has geared my training to ensure that I minimize activities that would aggravate such manifestations and customizes specific exercises and stretching routines to eliminate them should they occur. I have found his routines to be more helpful than services I have received from professional Physical Therapist. I have made great strides in my physical conditioning that I don't think I could have made with any other trainer.

What can I say? John is the most incredible trainer I've ever met. And I've been a gym rat for 30 years. John is super ntelligent, constantly researches advances in all areas of fitness, and fine tunes his expertise to each client. But the real skill I love is his ability to focus on whomever he's training, whether an experienced athlete or a fitness-challenged newbie. I'd say John is a zen master savant in the realm of fitness.

I have been training with John for close to 3 years. He is outstanding. He varies the routine and has improved my balance tremendously. He helps to strengthen surrounding muscles in my shoulder with a torn rotator cuff and my knee which needs replacing.We have great philosophical discussions and debates.
