Just Lift Studios is truly one of a kind! The classes are amazing. Every session is packed with energy and encouragement. The atmosphere is so welcoming, and it feels like a community where everyone pushes each other to do their best. The trainer is incredible. She motivates us, challenges us to step out of our comfort zones, and makes weight training not only effective but also inspiring.

Great place to get stronger and stay healthy. The gym is just the right size, clean, and welcoming. Parking is easy. It helped me overcome a minor shoulder injury and to weight-lift in ways I would not be able to do by myself. There’s a range of fitness levels and ages and I like that I can buy a 10 class package and use it as frequently as I can, instead of a monthly membership. The music is fun, vibe is high, and as if that wasn’t enough- they individually send short video clips of you exercising after the class, which helps me keep track of my progress. Also, coach Jen is an ALL-STAR. 10/10 recommend.

Just Lift is a breath of fresh air. It fills a unique gap in the fitness space. It’s perfect for those of us who want to lift heavy but are tired of dirty and crowded box gyms, male-dominated lifting clubs, or overexerting ourselves with high-impact CrossFit/HIIT workouts. It’s also great for newbie lifters who may have previously been intimidated by the gym. I have truly enjoyed my classes here and have recommend it to everyone I know.

I only have a few suggestions that would improve the overall experience.

1. Shortening the cancellation window - A LOT can happen in 4-5 hours. For those who have booked a morning class, that means cancelling by midnight the night before or by 1pm for a late evening class. What if you have to stay late at work or something happens in the middle of the night? It’s just too large of a time frame to reasonably account for. I think a 1-2 hour cancellation window (which is standard) is more than fair and gives flexibility to members. Including a late cancellation fee of $3-5 (in addition to losing that class credit) will also help incentive people to cancel sooner.

2. Rotating the Friday “Full Body Functional Fitness” class into the week (like all the other classes are rotated) OR permanently assigning it another weekday. I was loyal to my Friday evening classes because I love functional fitness aspect. However, there are no longer afternoon classes on Fridays which means the evening folks can no longer attend full-body days. To ensure that all members have the chance to complete that workout, it should be done on a day when evening classes are held.

3. Offering a monthly membership option. While I understand the benefits behind opting for class packs instead of recurring memberships logistics-wise, there are a lot of loyal members who would love a monthly option. It would be amazing if in addition to the class packs, members could choose between an 8 credits per month membership (~2x classes week) priced between $125-150 or an unlimited membership (obviously priced higher). I figure most people are attending JL 2-3x per week, so having a membership for 8 classes a month hits the sweet spot. It also gives incentivizes people to sign up for a recurring membership since there is a small discount on the cost of each class.

4. Restructuring the class time blocks a bit. Now, this is a long shot, but I feel like these small tweaks could really help the flow of classes. Many times, we’re rushing to transition from station to station, especially if you have to set up or break down a barbell. Shortening the AMRAPs by just a minute or two would make a big difference.

IMO, this would be the perfect timing:
-3 min PRESCRIBED warm-up (could be listed on the screens or instructor-led) This ensures people are properly warming up and targeting the areas that will be used in class.

-3-5 min explanation of stations
-10-12 min AMRAP, followed by 2-minute transitions *repeat x2 for 3 stations total*

-3 min instructor-led stretching
-5-8 min for class change over

TLDR: This gym is lovely! The coaches are encouraging and knowledgeable, and the gym is clean and bright. I love how we each get our own space and equipment, really allowing us to have a personalized experience in a group setting with proper guidance. It's definitely worth the hype!

Every workout is solid. Trainers always have your best interest in mind and make accommodations for different levels. I recently attended a trial class at Just LIFT Plantation, and I have to say, it was an incredible experience! As someone who has tried pretty much every workout class available in the area, I can confidently say that Just LIFT stands out from the rest.

From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The instructors were not only knowledgeable but also incredibly supportive, making me feel right at home. The timing of each workout was perfectly structured, allowing me to push myself while still enjoying the class. I found the flow to be just right, keeping my energy up without feeling overwhelmed.

What truly impressed me was how Just LIFT managed to combine intensity with fun. I left the class feeling invigorated and excited to come back for more. I can genuinely see myself fitting in here and making it a part of my fitness routine.

If you're looking for a workout that challenges you while also being enjoyable, I highly recommend giving Just LIFT a try. Whether you're a seasoned fitness enthusiast or just starting out, there's something for everyone. I’m convinced after just one class that this is the place for me, and it could be for you aswell!

So far I have only taken classes with Coach Jen and she is just what I needed. I’ve worked out semi-consistently (come on, we all fall off the wagon) for the last year but not like this. I have never grabbed a weight over 8lbs and was never pushed to do so. Now, I am trying 12lbs and up and adjusting as needed.

The vibes are 100% motivational and supportive. Modifications are suggested when/if needed and Coach Jen will even get you a heavier weight to try if she sees you can handle it. She’s always been right with me.

The music, the people. It’s the totality of the circumstances with Just Lift. Everything is exactly what I needed in a gym to succeed in fitness goals.

I love every instructor at Just Lift but i particularly love every class I have with Jennifer ! She always pushes me to improve my form or go up in weights. She is very detailed with her explanation of every exercise and checks on you periodically to make sure your form is correct, or how you can adapt each exercise to suit your individual needs. I have seen personal improvement in myself since I’ve been to classes. I highly recommend!
