Kai Fitness (Scott Hernandez) is hands-down the best trainer and training facility in Jacksonville. I can also compare it to a high-end training facility in Atlanta, where I previously worked out. His personable training sessions are challenging, target "problem" areas in women and I have seen phenomenal results!

I’ve been training here for over 10 years. I keep coming back as Scott is always changing things up - classes are never boring. I work out a different times during the week, so I’ve gotten to know many who work out here. Everyone is local, friendly, and welcoming. Vicky is the newest addition to the team and her workouts are great

Scott has been a saving grace in my life. As a retired college athlete I lost the joy of working out or simply being active. He brought it back out in me and even competing in my workouts again. I joined Scott’s group classes 2 times a week for about 4 months off and on and have lost 20 lbs and 4-6 inches. That is absolutely nuts in my eyes . So very grateful for all his knowledge and help. Highly recommend him and Vicky another coach is absolutely incredible and knowledgeable as well. Love this place!

I am 32 years old and hurt my back doing gymnatics 20 years ago. After having surgery due to an 80% paralyzed leg, professionals told me to be happy I was able to walk. I have actually never stopped working out for long periods of time even though I was not supposed to. I used to take medicine to be able to work out which is not the way to go. It’s not easy to accept working out 15 hours a week to nothing because of injuries (back and knees especially). When I moved to Jacksonville, a friend told me about Scott. I wanted to start working out in a healthy way. I haven’t been pain free in over 20 years but Scott worked his magic and I have never felt this good. I am way stronger thanks to Scott’s workouts. I can not thank him enough! I know I am in great hands. His workouts really work.

I injured my back in 2017 and when it was time to strengthen and stabilize, I knew I wanted to train with the most knowledgeable person I could find. As a chiropractor, I was familiar with Dr. Hernandez's background and training, so I knew he was the best fit for me. I have come so far since starting to work out at Kai Fitness - I'm stronger, my back is much more stable and I really enjoy the workouts in the small group setting. Dr. Hernandez tailors the trainings to each individual and is especially skilled at creating modifications based on each person's ability. I highly recommend Kai Fitness for people of any fitness level and especially those in need of training after recovering from an injury. Dr. Hernandez is the best!

Scott's passion for the health and wellness of his clients is a huge differentiator for him...his approach is truly holistic from nutrition, corrective exercise, and balanced body building regimens . His approach and talents have resulted in me avoiding back fusion surgery 5 years ago...what is that worth?

As a 60ish past football player I really needed to start working out again to better myself. I was worried about all my previous surgeries including four TKAs (total knee replacment) in my left knee, right hip replacement, shoulder surgeries, and a few others. Scott discussed my situation with me before we started, and continues to come up with great workouts that enable me to work out my whole body without any pain. Scott is hands on and demostrates how to do each exercise correctly and most beneficial to the joint and muscle. I have been going to KAI a month and am excited about the future working with Scott, Jen, and Beth. They all stress working out the whole body and mind. The mental and physical gains go hand in hand and I leave each session without any pain in any of my troubled areas and wanting to come back.
I would strongly recommend KAI Fitness to any person with previous injuries that are skeptical about some trainer believing "lift till you pass out" is good for all. Not to worry. Scott, Jen, and Beth understand and don't put you in situations that will injure you or make you think "WTH I'm not doing that."
Scott, KAI Fitness, Jen, and Beth are great and will do everything to make sure you get the correct workout you need designed for you. They will get you in shape!

Highly recommend training here. Great prices for awesome training sessions and quick results. The trainers are extremely friendly and motivating as well as all of the people I have met here while training. Great group of people that welcome you in with open arms and make you feel like you belong there. After going here for a couple months I would not go anywhere else. Been on a break for a while but can't wait to get back into the gym with Scott.

Scott Hernandez is a extraordinary trainer , in less than one year my body has been transformed. Considering that I have two bad knees and neck issues that is a huge accomplishment. I have several friends who have been going to Kai Fit for years, they look so amazing it inspired me to join, Scott makes sure that I don’t injure myself and work out using movements that do not hurt. I've been in and out of gyms most of my adult life. Once I hit my fifties, my weight started ballooning up, and I topped out at 198, when my ideal is closer to 170. I started working out with Scott at KAI Fitness in December 2013. Based on Scott's dietary recommendations, I made some changes in that area as well. By the end of March 2014, my weight was down to 172, and my body fat percentage had dropped from 26% down to 17%. I now feel like I did when I was in my 30's.
Scott knows the human body, and builds workout plans based on your current physical condition and fitness level. Scott is also a Chiropractor, so he knows how we are built, and knows how to build a routine that will not cause any damage. Trust Scott, and he will get you to your fitness goals.
