While I only go to one class a week (Yogalates with Stephanie), the space has been recently revamped and now includes a small shopping area. While I do not love the mirrors along one wall (kickers beware), everything else is cute and stylish. I loved the seasonal class package specials the previous owner offered and hope they will be offered in the future!

This studio sets the standard high for positivity and encouragement. I am a middle aged man who is not experienced with yoga; however, I have never felt more welcomed. Each instructor is professional and supportive. They have the ability to challenge you and are willing to help develop your practice. Furthermore the atmosphere is calming and presentable. The decor is so tasteful and it is an honor to be surrounded by individuals who want the best for themselves and others. Highly recommend!!!!

I have been coming to Karma Yoga for the past 6-7 months, and I absolutely love the classes. Stephanie's classes are amazing, either yoga-barre fusion or stretches, each on its style are very well planned and so easy to follow. Meghan H's Friday morning hot yoga class challenges me in every way possible, and I love it! I can't even start with Ritz, she makes it look so effortless. Deb is so sweet and her warm slow flow class is so thoughtful, and lastly April's power to the core, seems easy, but oh boy she makes us work! I have seen a real transformation in my body doing these classes. I also love the perks they offer with the TeamKarma, like water, snacks, and yoga mat if you forgot it at home!
I would love if they offer noon classes, those would be very convenient to me given my work schedule :)
I would definitely recommend this studio to beginners and seasoned, they have something for all.

From out of town visiting family and popped into a class. I attended Stephanie’s Gentle Yoga class. I attend yoga classes somewhat regularly and have been practicing yoga for quite some time. At least part of the reason I do yoga is to get away from everything else. Front desk and teacher were nice. Teacher asked whole class if we wanted relaxing music or country.

Someone said country, not my preference but didn’t have any huge issues against it. Shania Twain played at one point so not a bad mix.

However, the second to last song was a religious song. The moral of the song was more or less about understanding that sometimes what you ask for is not what you need. Specifically talking about prayers to god but as someone who’s not religious I tried to just think of it as understanding that you aren’t always going to get what you want but maybe what you want isn’t what you need. Not what I expected to hear or what I wanted to hear but I was trying to make the best of it.

Then the next song was an instrumental version of I’m Proud to Be an American. No matter your political stance, yoga is not where I should be hearing patriotic and/or political anything.

The class started out nicely and the flow was well done and hard enough but not too difficult. But between the Christian song and the patriotic song; it ruined the experience for me.

If that is something you plan to bring into your yoga classes then market yourself as such so someone like myself who doesn’t share such beliefs can avoid or please talk to your teachers about appropriate music selection for class.

I have been coming to Karma yoga for the past two years and always have an amazing experience. It’s more than a yoga studio, the teachers are extremely nice and make you feel like a part of the community. The classes can be challenging in a good way and I feel like I have grown as a yoga student. The owner Megan Hochheimer is amazing and very hands on. I have also taken class with Ritz and she definitely gives me a workout. I would highly recommend this studio and love the variety of yoga classes.

I have been going to Karma Yoga and Fitness for over a year and absolutely love it here! If your new to yoga or interested in trying hot yoga, definitely recommend going to multiple classes as they have something for everyone. Megan and the other instructors are always helpful in providing tips to improve your practice. The hot yoga classes are more than a workout and very meditative and relaxing.

I attended Megan H. Hot Yoga class yesterday morning and it was nothing short of amazing. Karma is not your average Yoga Studio. I’ve taken dozens of classes there and they are all unique in their own way. Their staff is welcoming and passionate, you feel as if you’re part of their great community. The Karma Culture is truly uniquely special! I highly recommend anyone at all stages in their practice to visit this amazing studio.

Up front: The staff and instructors are super nice and customer support is great. However, the location is horrible. The whole class you can hear and feel people in the gym next door slamming weights down; you can even hear gym patrons talking. The music selection in class was comparable to department store music played in the background (or elevator music). I did a hot class, since there isn’t a “hot room” or way to seal in temperature, it isn’t as hot as desired. If you like a disciplined hot yoga studio with disciplined practices (similar to Yoga Six), I do not recommend this studio. This studio is a traditional yoga studio that just turns their thermostat higher to advertise a heated class.

I love the studio, the instructors and the courses offered. The only issue is that there are few opportunities for a regular yoga course for working people. There seems to be mostly Hot Yoga in the evening and this is not something that everyone likes or can handle. I would like to see more opportunities for regular yoga in the evening to make this worth being able to purchase more classes or memberships.

The hot yoga class is good and challenging, but far too crowded. They allow too many people in the room (21 people last week) which makes it sometimes impossible to do the pose without infringing on the next person's space. Its particularly uncomfortable for a hot yoga class.
Also some adjustment or correction from the instructor would be nice in order to help us improve our posture.

I am a winter snowbird who was looking for a welcoming yoga studio. I randomly picked Karma Yoga, and have never been so happy. The teachers/instructors have been so amazing. The other yoga participants have been so inclusive. I have found “my people” and my new home. Thank you Karma (specifically Megan) for making my experience at your studio such a fantastic one! If anyone is looking for a fantastic yoga studio…look no further, Karma is THE only one 😃

Karma Yoga is a true treasure in the FishHawk, Valrico, Riverview area. The new spacious studio located at the corner of Bell Shoals and FishHawk Blvd/Boyette is a lovely oasis to practice a variety of yoga classes. It is definitely worth your time and effort to check them out.

Absolutely love this studio and glad I found it! Both Megan's are such great instructors. They have amuch different practice but always so amazing. I'm not into gentle basic yoga and as they do have that, they also have challenging classes. My favorite is hot power when we use weights or bands. Everyone is friendly and sweet

I have been attending classes at Karma Yoga for over a year and I love it there. It is an extremely clean studio with lots of care taken to social distancing. Every instructor I have had has been fantastic and extremely knowledgeable. The owners are very involved and know most of their clients by name. The best part of Karma Yoga is the accepting welcoming vibe that makes it a safe space to take whatever yoga shape you can. I feel like I belong there every time I walk through the door.

Owner is there just to collect your money and doesn’t even give the courtesy of saying hello to guests. Gentle yoga is more like a bootcamp. It’s a yoga studio for those who just want to say they go to yoga.

Found Karma a few weeks ago. I signed up for the new member special for 50.00 for a month of unlimited classes. I am fairly new to yoga and was a little nervous going to any class. There is a wide variety of styles, classes and instructors and different times every day. I am addicted to the hot yoga classes. The instructors I have met are very informative and offer multiple options based on your level. I showed up for hot yoga and had only been doing yoga a few weeks. Megan, who is also one of the owners and Erin have been awesome with me and showed me different options when class is doing advanced poses. Ritz is also fantastic. There are more instructors I have not met yet. I am so addicted to the hot yoga, I have not tried many of the other classes. I will be a regular for sure. If you try Karma, you will love it. I think that may be their motto for the new member special. Give them a try. Unbeatable new member option to try as many classes as you like.
