Muay Thai boxing gymAbout the Club
Koh Muay Thai Lutz strives to continue the traditional Thai methods in each class, paying special attention to emphasize devotion and respect to the participant and the sport as well. Students, otherwise known as Nak Muays, are now a part of the Koh Muay Thai community and family when they become a member. In turn, the students give each trainer full respect, commitment, and devotion β and it is expected in return.

Great gym to start out learning muay thai or if youβve just moved to Wesley Chapel/ Lutz and need to find another gym close by like me. Kru Jay is great and so is coach/trainer Mike. The vibe of the gym is great, everybody is cool. If youβre looking for a good different way to work out instead of just lifting weights at the gym day in day out, give muay thai a try, you wonβt be disappointed.

A legit way to learn how to fight. Punches, kicks, elbows, knees... You learn it all in a safe and fun environment.
Would reccomend

My wife and myself enjoyed the one free class that we got.
My only critique I would say is I wish that both the Muay Thai affiliated schools can work together somehow someway a joint membership even if it cost a little more to be able to work out of both those places because I think having both schools LinkedIn together would be phenomenal.
No I don't know how Mike and the other instructor at the other school would be able to work that out.
But I think that's something to consider.
Also it was just great to see everybody pumped up and working out and moving and exercising. Definitely a different approach to martial arts than what we saw before.. Thanks again for the great workout and the free lesson.

I've sampled or joined dozens of martial arts since I was 16. Many schools miss key aspects. Weve all seen those schools where blackbelts are simply moving their limbs (zero effort or respect of knowledge). I signed up for unlimited classes after seeing every student sweating (and obviously tired) but still trying to strike with good technique and power. I knew it was the right choice for me after dropping 10 pounds in 8 weeks. 6'0, 203 average first day weight per day to 190 now. I feel stronger and more durable every week. My shoulders are less pained even though my pullups are still lacking (had a pain even when just hanging when i started). I had almost given up on finding a good martial art class at 44 years of age. Every class starts with varied calisthenics (never the same workout). The instructors are attentive to fatigue and allow short breaks to sip water and reset breathing to continue. Then basic techniques and incorporation of those techniques into applicable combos. Usually both Mike and Jay (coaches) are present and while one instructs, the other observes and tweaks techniques for individual improvements. The coaches often workout with us since they both still train to fight. Koh muay thai has become my home away from home.

Iβve been training at KOH Muay Thai with my kids for close to a year now. The conditioning and drills during classes are amazing. The instructors are very knowledgeable and the community of people that attend classes regularly are friendly and family oriented. If youβre looking to learn Muay Thai or just get a killer workout this is the place to go.

This was my first time with any sort of combat sport and the culture of KOH definitely makes you feel at home. I've tried out other places around the area and the level of instruction did not compare with Mike and Jay's here.

Great gym with a good culture! Everyone was pumped, ready to train and very welcoming. Intense workout and the willingness to push each other was great and I recommend others to give this gym a chance. Ben is extremely professional and has really good prices in comparison to other combat sport gyms.

Koh Muay Thai Lutz is top tier. They offer a fun atmosphere while getting yourself an exhilarating workout.
The staff here are beyond phenomenal & are experienced & skilled. Plus, the staff are welcoming to all beginners & talented enough to train even the most advanced. I personally, have lost over 30lbs & gained muscle in the past year that I have been training with them. It is a work out I actually look forward to doing! I would give 10 stars if I could! Thanks Koh!

One of the best muay thai gyms in the greater Tampa area, very family-oriented and caring, any issues that come their way they handle with professionalism and do everything they can to work with clients. The kids have so much fun in their classes!

If I could give -5 stars I would. After my son got injured during a class he asked to cancel his membership. He was told by the owner, Mike to call in to cancel which he did and spoke with a female. They have continued to bill us for months and are claiming we never inquired or called in to cancel. Charged us for 6 months and refusing to refund anything but one month. Mike stated they do not keep record of members coming in, as we stated he had not even been in the studio since August when my son spoke to him. Bad business!

My son and I have trained Muay Thai with KOH for about two years. It has been an awesome experience. Kru Ben, Chase, and Mike are truly invested in helping you become better at Muay Thai. The community at KOH is very welcoming and safe. No one is looking to hurt you here, and you won't find big egos. What you will find is an awesome environment where you will be pushed physically and mentally. We love being a part of the KOH Family.

I have been with Koh Muay Thai since 2015. The head coach Kru Ben is very professional, dedicated in teaching traditional Muay Thai and helping students to achieve their goals! Other coaches are also amazing and helpful. I started with no sports experience, but with their help I have had two fights in the ring. Learning Muay Thai in Koh has changed my life!
