This place wonders why EOS is taking all the customers. They don't have the most basic thing in a gym which is enough weights for each machine.

Leg press? 1 - 45lb weight and 1 - 25lb weight. Hopefully there are a couple other weights across the gym for you to collect 300-400lbs which isn't much for regular people.

Bench press? Go hunt for weights at all the other machines.

Operational Neglect and Leadership Failure:
As a paying member and business professional, I find the current state of this facility deeply concerning. The gym frequently reeks of marijuana, multiple machines have been broken for months with no sign of repair, equipment is left unracked and disorganized, and the floors are visibly dirty. These conditions reflect a complete lapse in operational discipline and brand standards.

Equally troubling is the management culture. Bryce, the manager, demonstrates no genuine leadership or engagement with members. When concerns are raised, they’re met with indifference, as though paying guest experience and facility upkeep are optional. That attitude sets the tone for the entire staff and speaks volumes about oversight and accountability.

For a company that positions itself as a professional fitness environment, this level of neglect is unacceptable in 2025. It’s time for senior management to reassess both the leadership and maintenance practices in place. Paying members deserve a clean, safe, and professionally managed facility, not one that feels abandoned by its own management team.

Having been a previous member at other LA Fitness gyms, this is a complete disappointment. The biggest problem is the management, Bryce is unpersonable, not approachable, and completely lacking in humbleness. He has zero customer service skills, doesn't build any sense of community, and frankly seems clueless about how to run a membership desk at a gym. Instead of inspiring members, he talks down to people and makes the entire environment feel unprofessional and unwelcoming.

On top of that, the facility itself is run down: the dumbbell rack is incomplete, many machines are constantly out of order, and the ones that do work feel neglected. It's clear maintenance and member experience are not priorities here.

I came here expecting a professional environment, but I've decided to move my company gym membership for my employees over to other local gym where we're actually valued, the equipment works, and management has both competence and humility.

LA Fitness is honestly one of the best gyms I have joined. The facility is very spacious and clean, which makes working out much more enjoyable. There is a wide variety of equipment here, so no matter if you are into weightlifting, cardio, or just general fitness, you will find everything you need without having to wait too long.

One of the things I really appreciate is how big the gym feels. Even during busy hours in the mornings, I can usually get my workout done without too much waiting. In the evenings it is a lot calmer, which makes it even better if you prefer a quieter environment.

The amenities are what make this gym stand out. There is a full basketball court, squash courts, a huge swimming pool with three lanes, a hot tub, and even a sauna. These extra features make the membership completely worth it because it feels like more than just a gym — it feels like a full wellness center.

The staff has always been polite and helpful whenever I had questions, and the overall environment feels welcoming. The only small downside is that towels are not provided, so you definitely need to bring your own. Other than that, the place is excellent.

If you are looking for a clean, well-equipped gym with plenty of amenities, LA Fitness is a fantastic choice. It gives you the flexibility to switch up your routine, whether you want to lift weights, swim, play sports, or relax in the sauna after a long day. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants a gym that truly has it all.

Great facility....I use the pool and hot tub are always clean... extended hours M-F til 11:00... its like having a private club because it's not so crowded... the only thing I dont like is the men think it's ok to wear their underwear in the pool... its RUDE and disgusting... This gym is terrible. I don't know who the supervisor is, or if it doesn't have one. I have almost three months with the membership, and the things that I have observed have been very disgusting. I was doing my abs on the second floor, and one guy was doing an exercise that I didn't recognize; he was jumping barefoot on the mats. Not sure about the policy of this gym, but for hygiene reasons, it shouldn't be allowed. Another day, another guy was pushing a machine barefoot. This is incredible, but also unpleasant and uncomfortable for the clients who pay a monthly membership fee and expect a decent place to work out. The stairs to go upstairs are sometimes congested with people sitting on them. I have to say " Excuse me " to pass.

This is my gym; I signed up for a full year’s membership and I’m locked in until at least March 2023. The weekend manager is a great guy at his job, and Leah at the front desk makes my heart flutter like a high schooler about to ask Wendy Peppercorn out to prom.

That being said, it is like prison: overcrowded, no gym etiquette to be found amongst the masses (and MASSES there are if you go any weekday between 6-9 pm, like ants at a picnic), the free weights are all over without any order, and save for the real meatheads who are generally pretty chill, the vibe isn’t that conducive to a hardcore workout. I’m also irked by the hours, especially Friday’s (close too early) and weekends (opens too late).

It is fun if you like the energy of a NYC subway at rush hour, enjoy people watching, are comfortable and confident in your fitness regime, and are able to laugh at absurd situations. Because “absurd” is the operative word in describing the breakdown in civilization that occurs at this gym when it’s packed.

Like a failing marriage, I’m in it to win it for at least the next year here as my job, home, and gym membership contract keep me tied to this sinking ship (not because it’s a failing business, but because it’s energy literally feels as crazy as the final scenes in the movie Titanic most weeknights). As someone who always tests as “Chaotic Good,” on those vapid online personality tests, I can grow here. But sometimes it definitely tests my Good, and it often delivers a bit too much of the Chaos.

Definitely Agree that this location just needs to throw in the towel. It’s disgusting , very outdated and old. I pass through from work sometimes and just driving through the parking lot the place just gives me a weird creepy vibe. There are bottles filled with urine just sitting around and trash all over the place.

I finally decided to try it after a few people at EŌS fitness said that the sauna was hotter but maybe they weren’t talking g about this location….
I drove over one day and when I saw how nasty the women’s bathroom was. I was taken back and appalled . The floors are filthy. Plus the sauna wasn’t that hot at all. There wasn’t even any air that I could actually feel in the women’s locker room. I was sweating like a dog in there.

This is why I will always be against individual Franchises for any business because the quality goes down. Apparently LA fitness isn’t interested in upholding the quality of their name either. A few equipment Upgrades and building renovations should be required every so often when needed.

I mean, what’s the point of taking yearly maintenance fees if there isn’t anything ever being maintained. There should be a class action lawsuit for theft. There should also definitely be a change in structure. I’m pretty sure the owner doesn’t care because it’s in the area filled with minorities. A gym should be a sanitary facility. I would recommend calling LA Fitness corporate.

Literally the most bacteria infested sesspool of a fitness center I’ve ever trained at. Your floors are visibly dirty. Your weights are never reracked. It took my girlfriend 15 minutes to find a 15 lb dumbbell. The energy of your staff in benign to say it politely, bottles, dirty paper towels everywhere. I absolutely hate that I signed up at this gym without giving it more of a trial period. Nobody ever repacks weights, there's weights laying around everywhere in the gym. Machines are always broken and not maintained. I was told that there was cryo therapy at the other location in Boynton, which was a huge reason why I signed up.. That was a lie. They have no cryo therapy anywhere local. I had to pay a sign up fee and an annual fee, then the monthly fee, only to find out how much I have this gym. You're better off going to Planet Fitness. At least the equipment is well maintained and people put the weights away. I will be canceling my membership. I just can't stand how un-kept everything is.

After going to different L.A. Fitness all over the country for over 7 years I had never been kicked out of the fitness room for working in the back without disturbing the class which only had 5 attendees. This speaks more to the instructor who didn’t even asked us politely to leave but had to go get the front desk girl to kick people out. It takes a lot for me to write a negative review, but it’s needed in this case because nobody seems to care (Management and Corporate) about how this gym is being Managed. Since the remodel, it’s only become worse. If they open on time, you’ll notice on most days that there aren’t any wipes to clean equipment, not even paper towels and spray bottles since they got rid of those during the remodel and replaced it with pre-moistened wipes. Dumb bells that are busted and kept in corners of the room for weeks at a time, torn mats that can no longer be hung up so they are thrown in a pile, shredded vinyl on machines that only God knows what kind of bacteria it’s festering, roaches, and bathrooms that smell like a dirty zoo and benches that have super loose padding to the point that they can’t be sat on. I wont even get started on how the place looks at 5am when it should look damn near perfect from the closing crew the night before. This is skimming the surface of how this place is going to the dumps.

This is a nice place for workout, plenty of space and machines, such as many activities as well. But, unfortunately my happiness has been limited because they didn’t respect the deal which we had! Literally, they offer me to enrolled me for 49$ monthly + 49$ as a deposit might be 98$ + tax! Surprise! At the next day I saw on my account they charged me 118.31$ I went with Mr Dylan, which was the person with I dealt for and he said that was a mistake, he submitted the request for the refund, ok. That was on September 27th. What’s next? On October 9th I received another charge on my account for 52.43$. So until then no refund and they are charging me more money!!! Of course they don’t look like people you can trust! From that day I’m not going more to that place!

A week later today October 16th because I knew this guys works in administrative hours, I could come to see him and directly asked him for my whole money back! He said is impossible… Can you tell me what I supposed to do when we spoke about something and they’re doing whatever? Who can trust on this person or company? I called my bank and I placed a dispute for it and I just hope they have enough sanity to make the right thing at least once.

I used to hate this location and ended up joining the Signature Club BUT not only did they do a pretty substantial renovation, they also promoted Ryan and that was the best decision ever. Not only is he a very hard worker and very hands on, he is also a very good leader to his team and he is great with the Members. My favorite thing about the gym is the friendly staff, especially the people at the door ( like Ryan he always says hello and goodbye! Overall a Great environment & for the most part always clean / being cleaned! Selena is also one of my favorite people to see too

This Gym has done so much for me and I really do appreciate everything. The equipment is great but would be better to get new things. Also people are very friendly and you get along like a family. Yes their will always be that person to have an off day and act a little to the down side but don’t you think that’s in every gym. Which is why you can help them, bring Joy back in to their life. Since they redid this place it’s much more up to par. I really enjoy coming here. They have stepped there staff up too. Ryan at the front the operations manager is a solid dude. The young kid Rodney is a nice kid too. Chris signed my buddy up the other day made the process really easy and Dillion set us up with Chris for the sign up and we’re all very helpful.
