I have been working out here for years. The place is clean but the exercise machines are in bad conditions. When the break weeks to get them fixed. The rug is deteriorated beyond words. On top of that the eliminated The Cable Channels for Cardio makes no sense. A few crappy channels. It's to bad because the space is nice but they are not keeping up with maintenance!

Estoy muy decepcionada y dolida con este gimnasio. Mi hija de solo 2 años fue injustamente expulsada del área infantil (Kids Klub) y sancionada en todos los clubes LA Fitness, después de un malentendido que ni siquiera se tomó el tiempo de investigarse.

Ese día su papá la llevó mientras yo trabajaba. Él no habla bien inglés, y el personal no escuchó ambas partes antes de tomar una decisión tan dura.

No hay cámaras en el área de niños, lo cual me parece muy grave, y además una empleada llegó a decir falsamente a otros padres que mi hija tenía autismo, algo completamente falso y discriminatorio.

Mi bebé no tiene ningún diagnóstico, es una niña sana, amorosa y sociable. Solo tiene 2 años; a esa edad los niños pueden morder o empujar, y por eso deben estar supervisados, no castigados.

Lo que mi hija necesitaba era atención y cuidado, no una expulsión.
Ya puse una queja formal y pienso seguir hasta que revisen este caso y corrijan esta injusticia.

I go there mostly to run, good amount of treadmills. Running experience 7/10 like all LA Fitness treadmills our not anything fancy but get the job done. The view is good don’t feel confined. Ceiling fans aren’t strong enough to provide cooling. Last the sauna temperature is weak 120 degrees Fahrenheit it takes away from the benefits of the sauna/recovery. I don’t know if it’s worth even using.

The price is reasonable, however, it's always crowded. If you work and go after work, it's quite difficult to train. They also don't perform maintenance on the machines very often. They've supposedly improved a bit lately, but I tried to get in with a Day Pass and barely got a look, and they wouldn't let me try any of the equipment. Now, with a Day Pass, they'll keep you sitting there for half an hour, giving you an overwhelming lecture and "almost" forcing you to sign up for a membership. / Precio mensual razonable, sin embargo siempre esta lleno, y si trabajas y vas despues del trabajo se hace bien dificil entrenar. Ademas no hacen manteniemiento a las maquinas muy seguido. Supuestamente mejoraron un poco ultimamente pero trate de entrar con un Day Pass y apenas pude verlo, y no me dejaron probar ningun equipo. Ahora con el Day Pass te van a tener sentado media hora dandote una charla abrumadora y "casi" obligandote a hacerte la membresia.

Nos metimos mi esposo y yo pero a cualquier hora la zona de pesas esta super desorganizada, tiradas por cualquier parte, no encuentras las pesas que necesitas y los mats estaban rotos, el mantenimiento de las maquinas es poco, lo unico que lo salva son las clases por los profesores. Al inicio te hacen pagar membresia por el año pero luego tienes estas sorpresas, hay gyms mas economicos y la zona de pesas mantiene ordenada para todos como el planet fitness. I'd like to highlight the excellent Zumba class that instructor Juan offers on Wednesdays at 8:30 a.m. at LA Fitness West Flagler. He's very punctual, the music is varied, and he makes sure everyone does the exercises correctly, breathes properly, drinks water, etc.
It's an A-plus class!

Visited Miami for a week and used a guest pass here. The staff were very kind, but unfortunately they have an uphill battle to fight with the people who use this gym.

In my 20 years of lifting I have never seen a gym this messy. It is comically bad. Nobody re-racks weights here. There are plates and dumbbells littered around the gym. People will leave a 1,000lbs on a leg press. If dumbbells are re-racked, they are put in the wrong spot.

I do not understand how people can go to the gym to lift weights, and still find a way to be lazy at the same time. This is a shared space, show some decency.

Hoy tuve la oportunidad de sentirme la persona más humillada por esta institución aquí en este gym ya q un amigo me estaba ayudando hacer ejercicios y unos compañeros en específico el señor Emilio López el señor de frond q en ese momento se hizo pasar por Manenyer o no sé si cargo nos botó , nos expulsó del gym como si yo fuese un delincuente solo por q mi amigo me estaba ayudando hacer ejercicios ya q no quise pagar un personal trainer q ellos me ofrecían ese fue su escusa q estaba violando las reglas de contrato según el yo estaba pagándole a mi amigo cosa q no es cierto es denigrante no sé si por ser de color de piel negro o por ser gay pero si se q fue mui feo mui engorroso el carácter de fuerza delante de los demás usuarios de hecharnos a la calle como si él fuese dueño de La fitness es algo insólito con falta de carácter de profesionalismo no tuvo ni la amabilidad de explicarme q no podía aceptar ayuda de nadie porque mi amigo solo me estaba ayudando era primera vez q iba a un gym y me topo con el desagradable trato de este compañero q luego entendí q no era ni el Manenyer una persona creo sin educación cultural deben tener mucho cuidado porque el a pesar q estuviese fuerte grade no está para intimidar a nadie porque este es un país de leyes no está cuba ni Venezuela q se viola los derechos humanos esto es Estados Unidos y yo escojo con quien y con quien no hacer ejercicios ,es humillante q te expulsen delante de los demás compañeros tuyos solo porque te están enseñando hacer ejercicios algo q estoy pagando una membresía no le estoy robando a nadie y mas encima me humillo delate de todos es pésimo trato horrible de ese señor llamado Emilio López el dueño de La fitness al parecer

I’ve been a loyal member of this gym for over a decade, and while I’ve appreciated many aspects over the years, I’ve noticed a few recent changes and concerns. The gym is consistently packed, and now with the increased membership pricing for new members, it’s become even harder to bring someone new onboard.

Recently, I was walking to the bathroom with my 7-year-old son and was told I couldn’t go past a certain area with him. I was redirected to a different bathroom at the front. I understand there may be policies in place, but I’ve often seen other parents walking with children around the same age throughout the gym without issue. It feels inconsistent and a bit frustrating.

I hope the gym can address these concerns and ensure that all members, especially long-time ones, are treated fairly and consistently.

This place is super expensive.
Plus its super duper over crowed and to find two matching dumbbells is almost impossible. Ive been trying to reach the manager to cancel my membership and for some odd reason no one else can do it.
Its just straight up negative vibes all the way around. Too any one thinking about signing up to this gym DONT! Not worth the money and peace of mind.

The gym etiquette here had made being a member a horrible experience.. the dumbbells and barbells are always scattered all over the gym and no one believes in re racking their own weights. the staff just sits there on the phone and is of no help.. I hope this would eventually change.

A few months ago I moved to a location where there is no LA Fitness nearby. I physically went to this gym, the gym where i started my membership so that i could cancel my membership. These people are terrible, this organization is terrible. They make it difficult for you to cancel, by making it very inconvenient, but on top of that, they lie. I took time out of my day for a gym cancellation, and the guy handling this request looked at me and told me he had cancelled the membership (A LIE) because they continued to bill me for 2 months! Its a numbers a game and they will lie and cheat to make those numbers.

This LA Fitness location is hands down the most unprofessional and shady gym I’ve ever walked into. I came in with my girlfriend around 3 PM on a Monday, guest pass in hand. As soon as we walked in, the blonde woman working the front desk told us that I was “about to sneak in,” saying that if she hadn’t spoken up, I would’ve just walked in wothout checking in, even though I clearly had the pass in hand. Completely unnecessary and disrespectful. Then she whispered something to her coworker — a woman with black hair , I wish I had asked for names, who came over and told me I had to give all my personal information because a membership would “automatically start” after the 3-day trial. That sounded off, so we looked it up ourselves —
and they were lying. It clearly states you don’t need payment info for the trial, and no membership starts unless you sign up. Not to mention, I have joined another LA Fitness location with a 3 day pass with no issues, or shady sales tactics. If you’re thinking about trying LA Fitness, avoid this location completely. Absolutely unecesarry lies and unprofessional behavior just to use a free trial.

this place sucks compared to Planet Fitness, they make you pay so much more, I personally don’t care about pilates or yoga or those classes but I have to pay for that too even if I don’t use it. There’s a fee for everything, you pause your membership there’s a fee. They charge you the yearly fee along with the monthly fee when you start out, it’s like 120 dollars. Planet fitness is more economical and has the same equipment that LA does. Also the weights are NEVER put where they belong it sucks.

The gym is fine. The people using it for the most part aren't. One set, rest 5 minutes, chat on phone. Next set. 20 seconds, rest 7 minutes, chat on phone. When you ask if I can get a set in between, the response is " I'm using It". 3rd set, 30 seconds. Done. 3 sets in 15 minutes. Ridiculous. Why oh why are they even there. Nothing accomplished. Phone conversations tying g up the equipment.

LA Fitness at West Flagler is one of the biggest in town. It's cleaner than most and is not as disorganized but the equipment is badly in need of maintenance, especially the upholstery in many machines and a few also need repairs even though is a newer gym. Same with the showers, some are out of service or the water is just a trickle.

Si no quieres malgastar tu dinero te recomiendo buscar otro gim, vine aquí luego de casi ser estafada en otro gimnasio, creí que aquí me iría mejor ,me envolvieron con puras mentiras y me pintaron el gimnasio como lo mejor , siempre les dije que no me cobraran de mi targeta que los siguientes meses pagaría con otras y me dijeron que estuviera tranquila con eso que no lo harían, no llevaba ni 15 días y me cobran un anual fit de unos 63 dolares sin mi consentimiento , viendo esto tuve que escoger un día libre para ir a cancelar mi contrato y me dijeron allí los de recepción qué ya estaba cancelado y que ya no me iva a cobrar mas, cosa que me extraño porque ni movieron un dedo prácticamente, al otro día amanece mi cuenta avisándome que me acaban de hacer el cobro de otro mes y como es posible ? Si ya cancele. Llamo a mi targeta y les aviso de que estoy siendo estafada ,llamo al gimnasio y la señora que se llama Yaris me dice que ella personalmente me hizo mi membresía cosa que es mentira porque ella ese día no estaba ahí, nada que mienten y mienten para poner a salvo su dinero ,fue muy irrespetuosa conmigo ,no fue así la primera vez que la vi , te envuelven y luego cuando ya estas dentro es a tu suerte y no cuentes con ellos porque lejos de ser su cliente eres su víctima, al final pague tres meses al que solo fui uno y me cobraron otro mes al que no iré tampoco y un anual fit , mi dinero de mi sacrificio perdido con esta compañía, no los recomiendo para nada

I would like to rate this Lotion as one of the most loud and noisy Fitness, normally they have the Zumba classes with the doors opens and it hard to really enjoy the experience coming to this location, I bring this matter to the attention at the receptionist and she came back with a attitude about my concerns. Normally Zumba classes should be with doors close of respect and empathy for the other member that are not participating on this class. they are not ISO certified. the instructor came late and they do carry head seat to better control the class. on my side, there are only two good spinig instructors Alfred at 530 pm and Carlos @ 545 am . the rest they lack lidership, some of them they never face the class, no education on some of them, no good morning neither no good afternoon , no name no headset. you guys are doing bad by sub contracting the trainers. no control and we suffer since we pay the same even if the instructor is good or bad. nothing personal. best regards

The waiting time to be assisted is ridiculous. Simple things should take very little time, yet a VIP pass takes 20+ minutes. I’m sorry, but this gym needs to prioritize speed.

I have been a member of LA fitness for 26 years and I have definitely seen a decline in customer service. I never bother anyone. I always keep to myself. Today unfortunately I needed help. And it literally took a little over 45 minutes and everyone gave me an attitude. This makes me extremely sad oh what a horrible service I received. I never post reviews but this was something that was just unacceptable in today's world.

Worked out at noon at 2-11-2025. This gym is a mess. There are weights all over the place on the floor that are a trip hazards. I worked out on 4 different benches and at every single one I had to pick weights off the floor and restack them. There was an employee more worried about vacuuming than picking up the mess. He walked right over the mess and kept vacuuming. A few months ago management put up signs urging members to restack weights, but that was short-lived. There was also a lot of employees up front just sitting around texting and talking. Management should get involved and tell employees to help keep the gym clean and safe. One day someone will trip and fall and it will lead to a lawsuit.

I go to this particular LA Fitness (Flager and 94th ave.) because it is convenient. But other than that, I prefer other LA Fitness in the area. The treadmills are always dirty with other users' wipes and even used water bottles. The dumb bells are scattered throughout the gym. I can never find what I need unless I search the gym. And that is just the beginning. I understand that the actual LA Fitness is not 100% at fault, that it is the customers who are responsible for this situation, but the least management could do is have someone taking care of these issues.

This gym needs to be closed by the authorities. It's in the worst condition to workout. All the machines are like the one in the picture, and the bad odor is incredible.

I’m not sure how the authorities allow this gym to continue operating. It poses a significant public health risk to its members. I’ve been a member at this location for three years, and the conditions have only worsened over time. The machines are filthy and in terrible shape, and the carpet emits a strong, unpleasant odor of humidity. It’s baffling that management hasn’t taken action to replace the equipment. If you’re not already sick, visiting this gym might make you sick. The level of dirt and poor maintenance is overwhelming. It doesn't allow me to upload pictures to provide a clearer visual explanation.
