Visited this location the first time to check out the amenities. It was a big bummer that the sauna was out of service, then I noticed this employee was watching me when I was leaving as if he’s never seen a black LA fitness member at that location before. I ignored it and went to ask the front desk about the status of the sauna, and the same dude that was watching me came out from the sales department and asked me if I was a member. It was frustrating, because I checked in with the front desk and he saw me inside, why was I targeted? It left me feeling like I didn’t belong, and that’s not the experience anyone should have at a gym.

This place sucks. My daughter and I were watching racquetball on the bench and one of the front desk girls came up to me. She said my 7 year old could not be there. Besides the fact that she could barely speak English, she was super rude and really had no good explanation for why my daughter couldn’t be sitting with me. Invest in Life Time like I have.

I’ve been coming to this gym for quite a long time, and this is the first time I’ve experienced something like this. On Tuesday, September 23 at 4:37 AM, the front desk employee asked for my phone, and I later realized she was leaving a review on my behalf without my permission. When I confronted her, she acted as if it was completely normal and didn’t even apologize. She replied, “I’m doing the review because you come to this gym.” It seemed clear this was not the first time she had done something like this. Very unprofessional and completely inappropriate to take someone’s phone to leave a review for the establishment.

Among the other locations, this is one of the best in terms of conditions, BUT BE VERY CAREFUL WHAT YOU LEAVE IN THE LOCKERS. Someone broke the padlock on mine and moved my bag to another locker—possibly waiting for me to leave so they could take it without being able to trace who was responsible. Luckily I found it, but if it happens to you when you read this you might not be so lucky!

Day care comes in around 2:30 and sit at machines or congregate in the bathroom for hours. People think that leaving a drink or keys reserves a machine while they socialize. I haven’t had any issues at this gym. Even though it gets busy I also find that there is little to no wait for machines. I just wish they would upgrade their WIFI. There is barely AT&T service in here and with horrible wifi connection it sucks if you use music streaming like Spotify. You get no service in the sauna, for example, so you can’t use music.

No lo recomiendo para nada. Si te ven entrenando en grupo te cancelan la subscription. A mi amiga le cancelaron su subscription porque dijeron que nos estaba entrenando, lo cual no es cierto. Gym is great. Daycare staff in the evening is horrible. This lady doesn’t say a word. Not hello or good bye back. She’s rude. My son was literally almost choking on how much snot he had running out of his nose and I guess she either didn’t care to call me or was not paying attention. My son is non verbal. She seems like she hates her job and her life which is sad because she’s working with kids. Hopefully they find someone who enjoys working there.

This lady was extremely rude, the young man at the counter was very professional and nice. The young lady got upset because I didn’t speak Spanish she told me I had to learn if I’m gonna be in Miami. Then told me I was excessively fat after learning my body fat percentage. Then told me I had to learn to drive here because it’s Florida and all I had was my passport. She was asking personal questions about my private life that had absolutely nothing to do with me coming in for a promotional 3 day free gym trial.

I loved it here I truly did. I come with my friends and there’s no worry about a machine being taken. Amazing service and hospitality, great customer service and support and overall great investment. This facility has deteriorated unfortunately, management has not fixed the steam room for the last few months,
Sauna been off for at least a week, missing floor tiles and floor not clean..
.
One of the Men's toilets has been broken for months,... leaky faucets...
Hard to imagine ,with all the membership fees that they let this slide for this long..

Cleaning in the pool area needs maintenance ,they don't change the wather in the jacuzzi and the stean room .the water smells really bad ,. and the only thing they do is poor some chemicals like Clorox and once you eat salad you cannot even open your eyes and this mail is really strong with the chemicals and where you ask their representative they said that is the new company responsible and when they change the water takes at least 2 weeks to replace the water,no gôod

I recently started coming here because I moved. I really miss my old LA but unfortunately this is the closest. The machine section is good, the weight racks could be improved. Only 2-3 sets of the lower weights (15, 20s etc). This location does not have a time in which it’s not packed. It’s nearly impossible to avoid the big crowds. Expect to wait for machines and dumbbells every time you come workout, your workout time literally doubles in this gym. The bathrooms are also in bad condition.

Don't let the positive reviews fool you guys.. this gym is terrible.. sauna room has been out of service for months, jacuzzi too, basketball hoops don't have nets, and it's very dirty, management and maintenance in restrooms are horrible.. and to check in, nobody is attending the counter up until they see somebody walk passed it because we get tired of waiting for somebody to assist us. possibly the worst la fitness ever or gym in general.. 👎👎👎
