This is my first time feeling a need to thank someone like Jose Louis for his services. So much so I asked to speak to management to insure he gets my appreciation to the fullest extent. What he does is important because I actually left another La fitness for that very reason. Thank you, management, so hiring such a great guy that cares about his job. I also have to mention the black female who's the head of the department. Unfortunately, I don't know her name. She is a very focused individual who seems to love what she does. Kudos, to management Crunch is not gonna see my money.

Best LA Fitness I've been to in the south Florida area. Everything was clean, organized, well spaced and maintained, people even re-racked their weights! This was a huge surprise to me coming from Miami.

One of my favorite parts was an area with several glute machines by booty builder. Excellent for a leg day circuit or anyone wanting to train gluten. They also had power racks I havent seen at any other LA Fitness locations. I felt like a kid at the playground 🤩.

Like several other reviews mentioned they do not want you to take your bag upstairs to the exercise area. I imagine this is for safety/liability reasons, even for theft. In Miami people take the smaller weights and even the pins (why? Idk 🤷‍♀️ ). It annoying to have to carry some things around, but I understand why they have this policy and think its part of what keeps the gym in good order. Check out this location if you want a good workout.(Forgot to mention there is a free garage for parking)

The staff at this location are consistently rude, careless, and unhelpful. Instead of assisting members, many of them spend their time listening to music, watching videos, scrolling on their phones, or even vaping inside the gym. Their most common response to any question or request is “no,” and they often make customers feel as if they are a burden rather than valued members.
Adding to the frustration, several pieces of equipment in the spa area have been broken for a long time with no visible effort to repair or replace them. This neglect makes the experience uncomfortable and unprofessional, especially considering members are paying for full access and maintenance.
Furthermore, I find it very concerning that the gym does not allow members to bring their own gym gear or equipment, yet allows pets inside. This policy is not only inconsistent but also raises hygiene and safety concerns for all members.

This location used to be a 24 Hour Fitness, and since becoming LA Fitness it’s improved so much! You can really see the difference under one of the Manager, Ivan’s leadership. The gym is always clean, organized, and welcoming. The facility is half open and still being improved, but the upgrades and attention to detail are definitely noticeable.

I really appreciate how Ivan enforces simple but important rules like no shoes in the sauna and steam room, and the no-bag policy upstairs — it keeps the space safe and comfortable for everyone. The staff is friendly, the equipment is well-maintained, and everything feels fresh and cared for.

Didn’t get to workout because for some odd reason they don’t allow bags upstairs. 🤣💀 it was a small bookbag which I use to carry my phone , lifting belt, towel, chalk, and gum. They said they have lockers downstairs and I said I don’t have a lock. Of course, they offered to sell me one. why would I? What kind of gym has such a ridiculous rule? What am I going to do take a barbell? They expect you to go up and down the stairs when you need something for your workout? 😂 Just drive down about 8 minutes to your next LA fitness. The people that work there are unfriendly and full of rules.
You go to the gym to relax and enjoy.
They made me feel so unconfortable.
When I went to check in with a guest, they told me that I didn't have guest privileges when they were looking at the wrong profile in the first place.
Besides that inconvenience afterwards although my internet wasn't working they wouldn't let us in unless we finished with the guest sign in.
They made me waste my time.

My first time in this location. It's very nice. Brand new equipment. Nice staff. I don't understand the backpack comments, I left mine in the locker room as I am used to and saw people carrying theirs in the upstairs section. Both options are available.

Best gym I’ve been to in a while! Great new location and the great front desk youth! They are super welcoming The one big con that needs to be addressed is the gym bag policy, absolutely no bags allowed upstairs, not even small ones! This is extremely inconvenient and makes no sense; having to go back down for a belt, wraps, or just a small accessory is a major disruption to a workout. Very disappointing experience, my husband and I are both members, and while working out together, A staff member accused him of trying to train me and threatened to “kick him out” if he continued. Very rude woman employees. I have been a member for 2 decades never seen such rude employees at LA. They are losing rank if they continue to hire like they have in this location. I just had an absolutely breathtaking experience at the new LA Fitness in Miramar on Red Road. I’m quite selective about where I go, and this place is truly a gem. From the moment I walked in with my complimentary 3-day pass, everything felt elegant and exclusive. The staff was incredibly attentive Jaime at the front desk and the whole team helped me out wonderfully when I dropped my key in a tricky spot.

The facility is simply stunning from the pristine pool area to the steam room and sauna, everything is top-tier. The spinning area is fantastic, and the The spinning area is fantastic, and the entire gym exudes a sense of refined exclusivity without feeling overdone. I’m absolutely thrilled and have already decided to become a member. It’s a wonderful investment for the level of luxury and well-being you get in return. I came on here to write my own review thinking I may be the only one talking about this but I’m glad I’m not! The new location is great, machines are new, space is clean. The only thing I definitely do not agree with and honestly is a bit ridiculous is that I can’t take my own gym bag to the gym… I’ve never in my life been to a gym where I can’t bring my bag where ALL my gear is to exercise. I've been to several LA Fitness locations across South Florida, and Miramar stands out as the cleanest and most well-maintained by far. Unlike other locations where weights are scattered everywhere and nobody seems to clean up after themselves, this gym is organized, tidy, and truly a breath of fresh air.

I love this new gym from LA Fitness. I have been already many times and I think this is one of their finest locations. Covered and free garage located very close to it, staff very friendly specially Shama the manager, it is nice to see a manager so involved, professional and friendly. Bathrooms very neat and nice design. Training rooms very well kept, very practical, with privacy to train, many new machines, new equipment, spinning room very nice and perfectly located. I find very logical that no bags are allowed, for security reasons and also to keep all weights out of being stolen, very regular issue in many gyms not only LA Fitness. Air conditioning is perfect, full of windows to look outside while training. And then located in a very nice and new area. I haven’t tried both saunas yet but definitely will. It is really my new place to go on daily basis.

As a long time LA fitness member this location disappoints. No gym bags allowed due to possibility of theft….terrible reasoning. How about members take accountability for watching their belongings. I hate this rule and it is a huge inconvenience. Having to carry all of my gym essentials in my hand from machine to machine is ridiculous.

Also the lack of trash bins within the gym also doesn’t help keep the gym clean. Yes there are wiping stations but having trash bins in other areas of the gym for empty water bottles and trash, helps keep the place clean.

This gym seriously needs to rethink how it treats its members. They have a no bag policy on the floor, which would be fine if it were communicated properly but instead of a polite reminder, management rudely confronted me and told me not to bring my bag again and to “just leave it in the locker.”

The way it was handled was completely unprofessional and disrespectful. I’m paying for a membership, not to be spoken to like I’m doing something wrong for carrying my own belongings. A simple sign or courteous explanation would have been enough, but instead they chose to embarrass me in front of others.

This new LA Fitness is amazing. The managers Shauna and Ivan are so helpful and kind. They seem to really care about the facilities. I also appreciate the gym bag control for safety.

The work out areas are of course new and pristine, very spacious and all inclusive, the Sauna AND steam room are the highlight of my workouts.

Just make sure to watch where you park as it is also a residential building.

Do not bother going to this LA fitness. The parking is horrible and the management is super rude. What a way to open up a new gym by being rude to your new customers. They have a no gym bag policy at this gym. How ridiculous is it to have a no gym bag at the gym. Instead of telling you hey next time don’t bring it in they said I had to leave. So not only did I waste 20 minutes trying to park but then when I walked to finally find the gym I was rudely interrupted And made leave immediately wasting a good 30 minutes between parking and finding the gym. Shame on you LA fitness. Do better!

Nice gym. It was a great idea to put this in here in place of the 24 hour fitness. Here are my thoughts:

Layout: You park in a parking garage and walk to the side of the building, to get into the actual gym. The layout is pretty nice. You go up the stairs into the gym. Overall, It's pretty big, and they have separate areas for training and stretching. The only con with this layout is that the bathrooms are downstairs.

Staff: Ivan was exceptional. He took the time to explain about the rules and everything about the new gym, without trying to brush you off like the other team members there.

Final Note: They don't allow you to bring bags upstairs to the gym. They make you put inside a locker in the bathrooms downstairs, which is annoying. I'm not sure if this will be temporary or a permanent thing, but it's slightly inconvenient for me.
