The La,Fitness gym located in waterford Lakes I've notice the floor in the locker room, restroom is clean, However the machines were you working on your Legs downstairs area it needed to be wipes and clean, because I see some machines are dirty and dusty and rusted like no one cleaning them for a long time. I have never felt so disrespected by a gym in my entire life. Before signing up, I expressed that I’m a mom of two under two and that I work an average of 12 to 14 hours a day. I made it clear that this was all very new to me, and during my initial meeting, I was reassured that I would be taken care of and supported every step of the way by COACH BRADSHAW

After a couple of months, I decided to cancel because Orangetheory offered a more flexible schedule that better fits my life as a working mom. Now, coach bradshaw is telling me that the contract I blindly signed stated I owe half of the remaining balance for my personal training over $700.

I will be bringing the funds this week to close this chapter, but I would NOT recommend their services to my closest enemy. Save yourself the frustration, go to Orangetheory instead. Better prices, genuine people, and customer service that actually cares.

I do not know how this gym gets good reviews. This was the first time I stopped at this particular La Fitness. I came in to do laps in pool before going to my event for the day. Gym opened at 8 am so I was one of the first ones in the locker room and it was disgusting. Floors were clearly not mopped, there was trash everywhere and 2 out of the five or so showers had wads of paper towels lying on the floor. I didn’t even bother going in the pool area. I go dressed and left. Oh and some dam signs towards the entrance would be helpful to those of us going here for the first time.

Just leaving this here for transparency: Justin Ashe, an employee who previously worked at this LA Fitness location, is now at the E Colonial Dr location — and I had a very negative experience with him there.

He knowingly misrepresented the membership terms when I signed up, specifically about guest privileges. He claimed I could bring a guest anytime just by scanning through the app. After I joined, I found out that wasn’t true, it would actually cost $40/month extra.

When I challenged him, he offered temporary guest passes right away, which suggested he already anticipated complaints. He also falsely claimed I was “too late” for a promo, even though I confirmed that the same promotion was still active at another LA Fitness the same day. I also have a message from him admitting he “just tried to get me on a cheaper deal” without explaining that it meant removing guest benefits.

I wouldn’t normally post this kind of thing, but anyone who dealt with him here should be aware. Be cautious and make sure any deal you’re offered is in writing and fully transparent.

LA Fitness in Orlando redifined my core workout with their saunas, pool and in some locations punching bags as well multitude of equipment and iron weights. The no judgement attitude and patrons humility reshaped also my way of thinking and how to address my workout routine. Being in my 50's it's a challenge enough. High blood pressure and other things start to show up in your prime. I'm excited. I'm ready. And look forward to try new things. By the way the staff it's amazing. No complaints but maybe some stones for incense in the hot sauna? Lol

Horrible first experience. Did the guest passed online which states NOTHING about bringing an ID with. After parking near Taco Bell and walking all the way around I get told I need an ID… staff states it’s policy, so then why not mention it online when getting a guest passed? The staff at this location are some of the nicest, most professional associates you could ever want to know. They are friendly, kind and always available to help with any questions or concerns..

The members however are some of the most inconsiderate, unfriendly and selfish individuals among us. The members at this location hog equipment and don’t re-wrack their weights. On several occasions I found myself waiting in excess of 45 minutes to use the one and only
smith machine. There are only two moveable benches and the members claim them by putting their water bottles on them until they are ready to use them. Once I waited 20 minutes to use a bench that has a water bottle on it, I asked the owner of the bottle if I could use the bench and was told, “No”. The bottle sat there for another 15 before the member decided to use the bench to sit on between stretches. I observed many members hanging out on equipment looking at their phones with no regard for anybody else waiting. One time I witnessed a member reading a book on the one and only free weight shoulder press. My workouts began to suffer and I ended up going to the other gym about a 1/2 mile away so the I could complete my workout.

The staff is outstanding, the members are the worst. It’s a very nice facility, but the members make it not worth it.

This might be my favorite LA Fitness location in Orlando. Very clean locker rooms/ showers and decent amount of workout equipment. They have alot of squat racks and bench presses which for some reason alot of the other la fitness lack in quantity, so I never find myself waiting for people at this location.

This place is surprisingly busy in the early 5am-7am morning time but I dont find myself waiting on equipment to free up. I also like the turf section they have for sled push.

The people who work at this location are by far the friendliest out of all the LA Fitness locations Ive been to in Orlando.

I stated working out here in March and immediately signed up for personal training with Lars. Lars is very knowledgeable not just in personal training but in diet/macros as well. He did an initial assessment with me, reviewed my goals/desires with working out and i was off.
Since then I've been doing Personal Training with Matt R, and he is amazing!! He is very knowledgeable, listens when I have concerns/injuries.
Since starting with personal training i have lost 30lbs, learned new habits and am overall very satisfied with my progress.

I’m very pleased with my experience at this LA Fitness location in Orlando. I first met with Luis about membership. He was top notch with his follow up and answering all of my questions. Even though I decided not to sign up he followed up with me one more time, not in a pushy way, and we discussed my concerns. I ultimately signed up and truly appreciated his follow up.
I then met with Lars who walked me through the entire personal training program (which is amazing), he took the time to make sure I had all of the information. He listened to and addressed my concerns and helped me come up with a game plan to reach my goals. He then set me up with my personal trainer, Tai.
Tai is an Incredible trainer. He pushes me just enough but also allows me to listen to my body if I can’t go further. He motivates me to push a little more and get to that next goal and he gives me homework which I love.

I’m extremely grateful for all 3 of them. They are passionate about their calling to help people and not just treat this as a job.
The location is also always very clean and every employee I have seen or spoken to has been wonderful. (Zumba instructor Valdemiro is also the best! I’m hooked for life! )

I have 3 good reasons why this is my favorite gym.
1. Keaton runs the Front Desk with a warm friendly greeting and a clean and orderly Environment.
2. Lars runs the Personal Training Department with a friendly and up beat attitude. Very inspiring.
3. Tai is my Personal Trainer. He has my well being and skill level in mind. Always shows patience and positive reinforcement.

The locker rooms are a HEALTH HAZARD and swamp (coming from a doctor). Only giving 2 stars because of the cleaning staff being nice/hard working. It’s not their fault. It’s a management issue that goes all the way to whoever decided LA fitness would stop providing towels.

Walking into the locker room you’ll be hit with a wave of warm, foul-smelling mist that slaps you in the face the moment you step into the locker room. This isn't just steam; it’s the byproduct of an entire herd of cavemen who, after their hot, steamy showers, decide to skip the modern innovation of towels (they didn’t bring their own) and drip-dry all over the place. That's right, folks, they waltz out soaking wet, leaving a trail of humanity's regression in their wake.

Naturally, this creates a 100% humidity haven for smells to travel freely—thank you, kind gentleman in stall for your aromatic contributions. And those charming puddles right in front of the urinals? Oh, that’s just a fun guessing game: are you stepping in water, piss, or some tantalizing blend of both? Spoiler alert: it’s probably the latter.

But wait, there’s more! I was lucky enough to discover that someone thoughtfully left about four cups of mystery liquid in the bottom of a locker—painted black, of course, to ensure you can’t see the swamp before your gym bag takes a bath. Pulled my bag out, and surprise! Everything inside was soaked. The gift that keeps on giving.

Shoutout to the one hardworking guy desperately trying to mop up this mess—he’s doing his best, but management seems to think towels are a luxury item. So here's a thought: if you’re not going to provide towels, maybe consider hiring more cleaning staff, shutting down the showers, investing in an industrial grade dehumidifier or, I don’t know, enforcing a “no drying like a caveman” policy?

But the real kicker? Aside from the obvious slip-and-fall lawsuits waiting to happen, this place is a fungal breeding ground . And guess what? I have the ringworm (tinea corporis, if we’re being fancy) to prove it. Thanks, LA fitness, for this unforgettable, skin-crawling experience.

This gym is the best I have been to in the area. Tons of equipment, so even on busy days, there is still so much to do. The staff is extremely friendly and supportive. I signed up to have Matt train me and I have seen so much progress in the last 6+ months. He always has new and exciting workouts for me to do, which keeps me motivated. And he is extremely cognizant of my capabilities. He pushes me more than when I workout alone, but is always mindful of my goals and any injuries! Best gym experience with the best trainer!!!!

Please label your dumbbell rack. Your customers are frustrated and all you tell us is to be patient. There are some weight labels available on Amazon. Keaton tells us he’s working on it and I believe him, but I don’t think his superiors are listening. Fix this please!

Also, in another area of the gym you have weight plate racks right in front of the mirrors blocking people seeing the mirrors while using your barbell platforms. These platforms in other gyms usually have mirror to watch for form. You can’t do that here because the weight plate racks are in the way. Last picture attached.

A new gym with new equipment. The staff are friendly and helpful, the cleaning people are working all day keeping everything spotless. The heated lap pool is an added bonus most Central Florida gyms don’t have. I also like the discounted online membership to Les Mills for when I can’t make it in but can workout from home online.
