I love this location! My favorite instructors are Polita, Laura, Reema and Nelson. Each add something unique and special to every single work out. Polita focuses on strength training so rest assured you will be soar and reach your fitness goals. Laura is fun and innovative, constantly switching up dances so there is never a dull moment. Her class is high intensity so be prepared to sweat! Reema is AMAZING!!! This is a class that lets you SHAKE it! I’ve come to find that her classes have improved precise movements in dance. Nelson adds a flavor of youthfulness and Fun! I always leave his class feeling a bit more sexier than when I walked in. I love it here!

Okay, okay. So, most people leave reviews because they're miserable and just negative, but in this situation, I personally wanted to take the time to thank Jonathan Sanchez one of the sales reps there in Sanford. I sat down with him and I told him my situation that I didn't want to sign up because I was only in the area for a month or 2, but I didn't know exactly for how long while I was on my Barber tour and he just looked at me and with compassion, he provided me a guest pass for the entire month! And then when I came to see him again after that pass expired and sat down with him again, he just automatically show me more love without me even asking and renewed the guest pass for another month. That kindness is very rare & much appreciated.

Now that I moved from that area... I went to the LA Fitness in Port Orange and met this over-aggressive wanna be cop named Russ who gave me the exact opposite feeling of welcoming and love. I don't think he has any in his heart to be honest. He stated he been with the company for 16 years. Sheesh. 16 years of abuse? I feel sorry for the others. He neeeds to take lessons from a true "gentleman" like Jonathan Sanchez has only been with the company 5 years! DO BETTER RUSS! Sincerely.

So, just in that comparison alone... I knew that I needed to tell folk in the Sanford area to cherish Jonathan Sanchez because he is a sweetheart. And he even put me on to the Water's car wash right across the street, which is one of the best car washes I've ever had in Florida so far... for free like he's just a gentleman. Truly a gentleman and gives me hope for men in this world. Speaking from an ex-lesbian of 20 years! Thank you for your on sight soft kindness. You won't be forgotten. P.S. he deserves a raise! The pool was not sanitary and it was obvious by the cloudy water. The British Swim School tested it before they held class today and determined it was unfit for child swimming. I swam in it just as a rude person from the front desk was putting up a sign “pool closed for maintenance.” What is wrong with this picture? My recommendation is don’t swim here. Great news! If you’re joining LA Fitness in Sanford, don’t forget to bring your own locker camera — apparently, that’s the new standard for protecting your belongings here. My shoes were stolen right out of a locker, and instead of fixing the issue, it seems the unofficial solution is: “Just install your own surveillance system!” Genius, right? I had a very disappointing experience with a front desk staff member. We are Sporta members, and the building still displays the Sporta logo. We’ve also used our membership at other LA Fitness locations without issues. However, this staff member informed us we couldn’t train unless we used the LA Fitness app. I believe the appropriate approach would have been to kindly inform us about the need to transition to the new app as soon as possible. As a result, we chose to visit the LA Fitness in Lake Mary, where the staff was highly professional and assisted us courteously.
In conclusion, some front desk staff should receive training to improve their customer service skills. If they are not suited for customer-facing roles, they should be reassigned to positions that do not involve direct public interaction.

The receptionist didn’t stay anywhere near the front desk so someone who was on break or something of that nature had to get her attention from behind the wall of a cubicle she used to text on her phone instead of greeting or helping people. Then I want an upgrade to my membership so I can play basketball at other locations than my own since my location has no court, I find out they don’t supply any basketballs. You have to bring your own. Why would I pay 40$ a month for a gym that can’t even supply a single basketball for their court, I need to purchase my own and risk my own being stolen due to their obvious inability to stop theft. Why in the world would I pay so much money here when I can get a normal gym and sauna for 12$ at crunch?

Great club, amazing personal trainers. My wife and I enrolled last year and both had the same fitness goals of losing weight and becoming healthier parents. Mission accomplished. 6 month’s later we were able to get to our fitness goals. I’m so glad I was offered the service upon enrolling. the club is very clean and all equipment is well maintained. Employees don't enforce rules, but the personal trainer tries to tell me to re rack the weights after the staff was yelling 5 minutes left (all the members were leaving and they employees were getting ready to as well), then when I tell him no he tries to intimidate me (lol) and threatens to cancel my membership, also hilarious considering all the reviews trying to cancel and they can't, I will also be pursuing a formal complaint with corporate, the employees behavior was childish, lazy and unprofessional, I have been coming here for 3 years with a 70% check in rate (probably there more than him) and never had any problems with employees before and I do put the weights up if the gym isn't about to close btw, bro can go do his job.

I had an incredibly uncomfortable experience at Esporta Fitness tonight. My wife and I went for a swim at 8pm and were in the women's locker room around 9:54 PM, trying to get dressed. The gym was set to close at midnight, and we were the only ones in there. Out of nowhere, a woman (presumably a staff member) named Heidi started vacuuming right over our feet and towels while we were in the middle of getting dressed. It was not only invasive but also completely rude.

When we politely tried to move out of the way, she kept vacuuming closer to us, making the situation even more awkward. I politely said excuse me, but when i noticed that she was not wearing headphones and she was intentionally ignoring us I made my voice more firm until she stopped her vacuum. The employee then finally said she didn’t understand English, so I had to use a translator app on my phone to tell her that we were just trying to get dressed and needed space. She irritably sighed and started singing loudly in Spanish (with no headphones) and continued to vacuum right on our feet and clothing until we left the locker room. We were dressing ourselves and she would not give us the DECENCY to finish clothing ourselves. It was VERY RUDE AND UNCOMFORTABLE.

What was most disturbing, however, was her apparent attitude. It felt like she was deliberately ignoring our presence, and her behavior made it clear she didn’t care about our comfort. This was completely uncalled for, and I’m honestly shocked by the lack of respect. We’ve been regulars here for a while, but after this incident, we are heavily reconsidering our memberships. I plan on making a formal complaint to corporate regarding the matter.

The gym is ALWAYS clean when Elsa is there Mon- Fri it's ok on the weekends. They need more equipment there's only one captain chair one hamstring curl etc. Some of the members DO NOT re-rack their weights especially when they use the shoulder shrug & Smith Machines. This place used to be good but breeding management has slowly ran into the dust from requiring workers to have bathrooms, clean before closing, which means female workers being forced into the male locker room to clean and now they close at 11. I signed up for group fitness just after my cancer was in remission and found out two months later I was not in remission. But I continued to try to do my workouts and did pretty well until the point came that I couldn’t and I was holding everyone else up in the class. This happened around April of the following year. I signed up in August of the 2023. When I asked him about canceling the contract because of medical reasons I was told twice I in two months that someone would get back to me. No one did. I went into the business and they then Told me that I had to get something from my doctor showing that I could not do these workouts. Which I did meanwhile they went ahead and billed another month even though their computer clearly showed that I’ve been trying since April to get this done yet Nobody knew what to tell me was the right way to do it until July. I explained that I expected to receive a refund from back in April when I first started trying to get this taken care of. My contract was up so they gave me back my money for 1 month and canceled the contract now that it was already expired, but refused to give me back The other three months. I am a terminal cancer patient that’s what I told him in April but because their people failed to know their job I get screwed out of $200. They are more interested in money than they are the welfare of people who visit there. There were times there was no one to even do the training and they would cancel after we had already come to the gym specifically for that training.

Best bang for your buck for gym in Orlando. Plenty of benches, squat racks, and dumbbells. My only complaint is the need for better leg press and standing calf raises machines.

So the gym over all is nice and they take care of it. However, they keep the music so loud you can hear it over noise canceling headphones. I have yet to see someone not wearing headphones so why is the music soooo insanely loud I can’t hear my own music?????

Esporta had everything you need to get your body back into shape. The people are nice and the gym goers are nice and friendly. There were people that had different body types and no was shamed . Everyone was welcome
