It is a nice place for exercise. They have ample amount of weight training equipment and other fitness machines, an indoor basketball court and a swimming pool. I am not happy with their sanitation standards. Gym is a place where a lot of people gather which requires a mask mandate which is not enforced. Moreover I never saw anyone sanitizing the equipment.

I’m giving Anita 5 stars. Although I did not end up signing up with LA due to the high prices to start, and limited availability of equipment. Anita was the only reason I was going to sign up with LA because of her amazing attitude and friendliness. Give that woman a raise!! Great employee and kudos to her.

LA Fitness is a Great gym with lots of different types of equipment to help strengthen your muscles and body stamina! I have worked out at other gyms in the past but when I went to LA Fitness the variety of the equipment really helped me to build my muscles. I love this LA Fitness. The one close to my house is very crowded and everything is super close together. I decided to go to this one, and I haven't been to any other LA since. This LA has a ton of room, with massive ceilings so you never feel overwhelmed. Everyone who comes here has been so nice to me and helpful, if needed, including staff. They have helped me search for things even when they couldn't find it or were unsure if it was in this LA. Would recommend going to.

Weights are always all over the place early in the morning (5am) this is something that should be put away at night, machines are rusty and old, roof is always leaking and place smells funky (come on I know this is a gym but you guys can absolutely do better) no other LA Fitness I have visited has this problem nothing compared to the Sawgrass location or Pembroke Pines both University dr and Flamingo they are simply out of my way there are so many competitors out there with better prices and the only reason I stay with LA is because of the sauna and it’s not even open due to covid. I would love to keep my membership with LA fitness but I can’t travel 20min every morning to get to arrive to a gym with rusty equipment, smelly and unorganized.

Great environment, the manager very kind, but the curly lady at front desk early in the morning has horrible costumer service skills, I think her name is shica must be in another position far from people, I saw her today arguing with another person cause she was sleepy into the front desk and couldnt approach where the people is to take temperature, she is very rude, not able for a big franchise like this.

One of the best LA Fitness locations in Broward County. It has an ole school Gold's Gym atmosphere . The machines are older but the atmosphere and environment is by far the best. This location is not as busy like the other locations and the staff are friendly . I drive 20 mins to get to this location because it's worth it.

The worst gym I've been to in a long time. I moved to Florida 2009. I joined la fitness and I go to multiple locations I always see upgraded equipment in other locations. I called at 4 pm to cancel my membership, since there's a pandemic and they're not even asking customers to wear masks while exercising. The online accounts are not working and every email link is broken. When I called they said I needed to come in in person, to which I said no, that's not happening. I asked to speak to the operations manager. He's with a customer. I say I'll hold. I wait on hold for about 10 minutes, then call again. Still with a customer. I'll hold. At 5:15 I'm still on hold so I hang up and call. Same person answers and says he has left for the day. I ask "so you're telling me he finished with his client and you didn't stop to tell him someone was on hold for him before he left?" She responded he had a lot of calls. I bet.
So she watched him leave, didn't stop him, didn't take me off hold to tell me. I was literally left on hold with no plan to ever pick up.
If I can't get through tomorrow I'll be calling the BBB and putting a hold on their charges through my bank.

Short Indian girl at the front desk has a very negative attitude. Never greets as I walked in. This employee is always on what looks to be her personal phone. This place needs a renovation, immediately. It’s easily the most outdated LA Fitness facility that I’ve been inside of. The male locker room is dingy, and it covered in old carpeting. The facility is spacious. That the only positive thing that I can write regarding this location.

Update: I went back, almost a year after my initial review. This is still the worst, and most outdated, LA Fitness that I’ve been inside of. It’s shameful, and the clients deserve better.

I've been going to this gym for years. This location is just falling apart. Every morning after my workout, I come back to the lockers and fight with the roaches. I've complained about all the time, and they always say they just sprayed for bugs. Maybe it's the same people that fixed the roof, which still leaks when it rains. If you keep your stuff in the lockers be careful and keep your bag closed. You may bring back a roach home.

This is the 3rd LA fitness I’ve tried coming from Youfit. In all three LA fitness I’ve been to all the machines are rusty, barely any plates(got people asking me for plates), and the dumbbells are either misplaced or missing. There’s no type of organization or maintenance. Would definitely suggest going to Youfit which is the complete opposite of LA.

UPDATE: The guest pass was only for 4 days instead of 7. I went 3 of 4 days and the water heater was broke for 2 of the 3 days. Only 2 of the 8 showers had heads. A bit disappointed, I'm visiting other facilities before I make my final decision.

I wanted to checkout this gym to see why all the bad reviews. I now get it! I should have been able to tell by the empty parking lot. I walked in this morning and said “hello” to the two staff members behind the front desk. I’m still waiting on someone to speak back!
Let’s talk about the equipment. It’s OLD! The weight machines look like pre 90’s equipment. The treadmills and elliptical type machines appear to be updated.
I wish corporate would invest in this gym but I guess since it’s not in the more affluent area they won’t.
