My daughter started gymnastics at LA Fleurs and loved so much we did her 5th birthday there. Bianca was amazing! She learned all the kids names quickly and helped them with the tumbling. She met each kid with their abilities. All thr parents commented how this was such a great part and how impressed they were with Bianca. I would highly reccomend La Fleurs and I have high standards after working in hospitality for over 15 years.

I had the unfortunate experience of dealing with the customer service at La Fleur Swim Class, and I have to say, it’s been an absolute nightmare. The instructors were great, and we had no complaints about them—they were kind, accommodating, and worked well with my special-needs child during their one-on-one classes for about two months. However, the office staff? Completely unprofessional and lacking any empathy towards parents.

The issue started when we wanted to transition my child into a larger group, but because of his skill set, the slots weren’t available. The instructor even tried my child in the intermediate class and informed me that as long as a group slot wasn’t available, my child could continue the one-on-one sessions. I spoke with the front desk about this and they agreed. Fast forward to today, and I receive an email saying that he’s not allowed in the intermediate class and that no slots are available for the starter group—meaning he’s stuck with the one-on-one sessions.

This lack of communication within the organization is just baffling. The left hand doesn’t know what the right hand is doing, and it’s created nothing but confusion and frustration for me as a parent trying to do the right thing for my child. When I raised my concerns, all I got was a refund with no explanation, follow-up, or any attempt to resolve the issue.
They advertise that they have been around the area for 40 years, and I’ve never seen such a lack of care and professionalism. This place might have a nice reputation, but it’s all about false pride. What goes up will come down. I wouldn’t recommend La Fleur Swim to anyone based on the terrible customer service and complete lack of accountability.

It was brought to my attention — and I have personally seen — that a coach at this facility, whose first name begins with 'S,' publicly promotes an explicit OnlyFans account. From what is visible on public social media, it also appears that members of management follow this account.
In my opinion, while adults have every right to their personal lives outside of work, publicly associating with explicit material is not compatible with a role that involves direct interaction with minors. I believe businesses serving children and families should have clear standards of conduct that ensure staff represent the organization in a manner consistent with its mission and values.
Based on what I have observed, I personally would not recommend this facility as an appropriate environment for children.

My kids have been attending Gymnastics and Swim for years here. We also havr brought them to the summer camp program. They are incredibly consistent in the products they offer and the prices are very reasonable/fair. I couldn't recommend them more as a business.

They also do Birthday Parties and every kid I know have loved it here. You won't regret going here.

Awesome swim school, my kids learned to swim and enjoyed every minute of it with Andrea, Nicole, and Ryan. Previously had lessons at a different swim school for over a year that didn’t get them far. Only complaint is the gymnastics parents sometimes act like they own the facility and park in the parking spots designated for the swim school.

My daughter is 3 years old and is enrolled in the little flippers school beginners/ private lesson with Emmah Federman. I first want to say that I have a fear of water and get very scared around pools and large bodies of water. However, my 3 year old LOVES water and as a parent, I need her to learn how to swim. So, I got a referral to this school and I have been extremely pleased with them. The pools are heated and they have a place where I can come inside and see the whole lesson. But, the best part of this whole experience is my daughters swim instructor, Emmah Federman!!!!!! She IS THEE BEST TEACHER!!! She enforces the rules of pool, cares about my daughters safety and is all around one of the most caring individuals I have ever met. She takes the time to explain the progress she sees in my daughter and gives tips on what we can do as parents to ensure she LEARNS how to swim. She is patient and is the reason why I am confident that my child will be a GREAT swimmer. LaFleur's is a blessing.

They need to have a better system of calling out swim class times. The waiting room is noisy and the instructor called only once from a side door. We missed 10 minutes because we could not hear this one call!

This review is for the Anderson location in Tampa: I don't know what I expected but this is honestly the most amazing place ever! My daughter is currently with Ms. Taylor who is absolutely the sweetest ever, she along with the other coaches are just so kind and patient. Beyond what my expectations could have ever been for a gym kids experience(5-7yr olds). Thank you Ms. Taylor for your expertise and kindness that makes my daughter look forward to every class, she even prayed for safe travels on this upcoming weekend and your siblings move to College.

We celebrated our daughter’s 3rd birthday party at LaFleur’s recently and had the BEST time. Bianca made her day extra special and was so so good with all the kids. She had the best energy and enthusiasm as well as patience needed to host 15 three year olds. Many parents told me after the party how much fun they had and were so happy to experience LaFleur’s! 10/10 would recommend for birthday parties of all ages!

We also attend LaFleur’s for their Parents and Tots weekly gymnastics class and it is wonderful! Our daughter has THE BEST time. Lela is our instructor and she is incredible with the kids. So fun and helpful! We love LaFleurs!

LaFleur's provides a top 1% level of service. That is what makes them stand out. Our daughter needed to take a break from gymnastics for a short period of time, and they went above and beyond to take care of us. They made sure we didn't pay for anything we didn't use and set us up for camp later this summer! I am so thankful to have such a well run gym close to Westchase. Our experience with other places (like Watermelon Swim who only cares about $) was the exact opposite. We are LaFleur's loyalists from here on out!

I was pleased with our experience having our daughter attend this school. She just turned 7 today and tonight was her last class. The instructor Ryan was great. Also, the office was very accommodating when we had to miss a class do to other engagements. They allowed us to make it up, which I thought was nice.

I should have posted this review long time ago. Lafleurs can simply be described as professional but still loving gym that will get results to those that are committed. Coaches, owner and stuff - they all do care and that attitude extend to families of the gymnasts. This is the way to go. Thank you!

Our 5 year old does gymnastics and swim at LeFleur. Mr. Ryan is her swim teacher and has done an amazing job. Our daughter now has confidence and swins like a fish now :-). All of the other swim teachers that have filled in are amazing as well.

The gymnast s coaches are great too, with Miss Kelsey and Monday with Miss Annika, have both made the gymnastics experience fun and exciting for our daughter.

Let me start by saying my daughter, as well as I, absolutely love this facility. The instructors are amazing, the layout is thoughtfully made and all of the staff seem happy and knowledgeable.
My issue is with the parents. Let me explain. There's an observation deck where parents are asked to go so they can OBSERVE their children. The problem is that the seating is extremely limited so on some days you may not be able to watch your child. But what upsets me, is that my elderly grandfather had to stand for an hour while 90% of the other parents, who were seated, sat WATCHING THEIR PHONES!!! WHY??!! You don't even see your child waving and then looking down in disappointment because they realize their parents more interested in watching YouTube, than their own child. My only request is that if your going to be on the phone then just go to your car so that the parents who actually want to watch their child excel at something, then please for the love of God, don't sit front roll blocking everyone else's view. Have a little decency.
Or better yet, why doesn't the facility make a rule that no phones are allowed? They've already posted signs not to take pictures.
I'm just very disappointed. I actually Want to watch my daughter. 😭

It’s a good spot and the girls like it. Just wish it wasn’t so overpriced, my gym in Orlando was cheaper and nicer and included 2 sessions per week. Not a value here for sure. Taking a star off for the fact it’s just too expensive for what it is. Large classes don’t justify the pricing.

If I could give them 1 star I would... This would have been the 3rd year my son has attended this camp. Being a special needs child, I made this VERY CLEAR FROM THE BEGINNING of his needs and was assured they could handle him. After I enrolled him in the 3 day thanksgiving camp, I got a call from Maddie (the camp director), who expressed how much they "love" my son, however feel he is a liability and cannot have him come to camp, unless accompanied by a 3rd party. As a single mother, I cannot afford a 3rd party. Its very heartbreaking that instead of EDUCATING staff, or getting someone on staff who is educated in caring for special needs children, they just turn their head. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CHILDREN HERE!!!!!

i cannot rave enough about la fleurs. we have been going here for about two years. my daughter learned to swim with them and is now in gymnastics. she’s worked with several coaches for both swimming and gymnastics. the staff is incredible and kind. they are very understanding when needing to make up a day or when we needed to change a class day or time for our schedule and when kids are having big feelings. when she was in swim class with chris, he helped her tackle some anxiety and fears she was having about swimming and helped her overcome them. he made class so much fun for all of the kids and was always such a light. he’s a wonderful teacher! for gymnastics, chauncy has been so amazing, encouraging, and patient (all the coaches have been super patient) but he really helped her understand certain skills that she wasn’t getting and took time to work with her and encourage her. everyone coach has been wonderful and we have always had such a positive experience with everyone staff member we have encountered here. i feel like they all really care about the kids. it’s amazing to watch them work class after class with them on certain skills and then really get just as excited and as proud as the kid when they finally nail what they’ve been working on! i am so glad we found la fleurs and have had the opportunity to work with so many amazing coaches and instructors and i can’t wait to watch her learn and grow more through out the coming years. i would absolutely recommend to any parent looking for a gymnastics or swim class for their kids.

My son attended the gymnastics class as well as the swimming classes for a couple months in this school. At first his gymnastics class was going great until they changed his coach and then I noticed he wasn’t excited for class anymore and I saw why, his previous coach put a lot of enthusiasm in teaching and making sure the kids were having fun but his new coach ignored him and didn’t praise him when he was doing good. She would just stand there and seemed like she didn’t even care. As far as the swim lessons, they’re pretty basic and once your child knows how to float and is comfortable in water they don’t really teach much beyond that point. It’s better off to put them elsewhere if you want your child to keep on learning with more challenging lessons. Overall I wouldn’t recommend this school. There’s far better choices in the Tampa Bay Area.

My daughter has been attending here for a couple of months now. She was in a previous gymnastics school before but when I saw this one it looked so much nicer that I decided to switch her. Well it was the worse I could do in the other school she was even asked to start competing. But here she’s been stuck in a lower level. I have talked to the people in the front twice but all they say it’s that it’s up to the teacher but guess what every time she goes she has a different teacher. So there’s no way they are going to know her progress. I try telling them this but all they could do was give me an attitude. And then they come saying that prices are going up for what kids aren’t doing anything. Stay away from this place they repping people.

Changing my review to excellent, I picked one of the busy times to come in ask questions, not the best idea (after school like 2pm). The folks here really care about their reputation and that says enough. The coaches all seem to be engaged in the development of the kids and you can tell from all the very talented kids doing amazing gymnastics. My daughter loved her first class and even said she felt a little sore the following day. I’m ready to enroll my son as soon as we can find a good schedule as classes do fill up here!

My daughters been coming since 4 and we made the decision tonight to move to another gym for tumbling. Ive expressed to the staff numerous times that my daughter wants to advance in tumbling, the tumbling classes are just not focused and the rate that they learn skills is beyond slow, they are just ran by a bunch of kids it seems. I’ve stuck it out with them for years hoping there was some method to the madness but we’re done wasting time.

My daughter absolutely loves taking gymnastics classes here! You don't need any prior experience, they have classes starting at beginner and they move your child into whatever level they need to be in based on their performance at their own pace without any pressure. Classes are sorted by age group, gender, and seem to have a max of 8 kids. My daughter has had a few coaches but Miss K is our favorite! There are a wide variety of class times during the week and on weekends to fit anyone's schedule. They even offer ONE makeup class (that you can schedule on a different day than your regular class) if your child has to miss for any reason so you don't miss out if something comes up. You can get discounts if you enroll in both gymnastics and swimming or if you more than one child. My daughter has gained self confidence and looks forward to going to her class every week. It's definitely worth the money in my opinion!

For gymkids girls gymnastics classes:
1.) How much would I have to pay to come here twice a week?
2.) Can you choose your coach, bacause i can only come here if you can guarantee
me a girl coach.
3.) Do I have to wear a leotard to practice? If yes, can I wear tights over the leotard? If no, can I wear a t-shirt and tights?
I would really like to come to this gym and would appreciate if you could answer me as soon as possible. Thank you.

Our family enjoys going to LaFleur's and my children have a great time during their classes and really do learn a lot. Great gym.

I agree with another reviewer that said the instructors should be more friendly with the parents - after class they disappear. Feedback on my child's performance would be great for the cost of the classes.

My only real complaint is about the older woman in the front desk. She is a real drag and brings down the facility - like other reviewers said, she is never friendly and it comes off as if she isn't happy to be there and ALWAYS seems irritated to answer questions from anything about paying your bill to sizes/cost of leotards. It is so unpleasant, the younger lady seems eager to answer questions and is much more pleasant.

My son is a competitive gymnast. When we moved to Tampa we looked for the best competitive gymnastics program available. Unfortunately, there are only two for boys in the area. LaFleur's has great equipment, and the head coaches seem very knowledgeable. Everything was great until a younger, newer coach screamed at my son and then called him a crybaby. While the owner assured me that behavior would never be tolerated from a coach, in the end it seems they will always take a coach's side over a parent or child.
