About the Club

Living BOLDER is a fitness and wellness company for designed exclusively for women in perimenopause and beyond.

Bolder STRONG fitness programs are efficient, effective, and enjoyable workouts that deliver noticeable results at home, with minimal equipment. Strength Training, Cardio Intervals, Mobility and Core.
Rita also offers a premium VIP 1:1 Coaching Program (virtual), a limited number of personal training clients (in her home studio), and a Barre STRONG fitness class each week.

RITA JENKINS-WOLCOTT is a personal trainer, Menopause Fitness Specialist, and Certified Nutrition Coach with over 4 decades of teaching experience. She has worked with hundreds of women over 40. She is the former owner of Bolder BARRE & Fitness.

I am a big fan of Rita's barre classes. Her Bolder Strong program is excellent! You can do the routines at your own pace, and your strength and endurance will noticeably improve each week. Rita is a dedicated professional, who offers an effective and efficient series of classes to help you tone muscles and increase strength and flexibility. I highly recommend this program.

I joined Rita’s 8 week fitness program hoping for the best. I have had severe back issues, so I was afraid that I wouldn’t be able to keep up with the workouts, especially with the weights. Rita makes it easy to keep up with an at home work out plan. All classes are less than 45 minutes, so it’s easy to squeeze in a workout any time. Some are as short as 20 minutes. In 8 weeks I feel like I’m getting stronger and more fit.

I've been working with Rita for years and I was hesitant to switch to the online Bolder Strong program because I wasn't sure if I'd really do it. I know myself and I felt if I didn't have a time and a place, I may not follow through. It was the total opposite! I've done several Bolder Strong online programs and I love the flexibility of being able to do my workouts when I want. I can wake up, stay in my pjs, get it done and move on with my day! The Facebook group is a great accountability tool as well as great encouragement! It's fun to share our progress as we get stronger and stronger. Rita is a great coach, she provides alternatives to all the workouts in case you have injuries, limited mobility, etc so it really can be for everyone. I give the program a 10/10!"

I'm 60 this year and while I've always been active, the combo of COVID and menopause really changed my body. So I did what I've always done - 45-60 minute aerobic workouts and light upper body weights, 5 days a week, for months. Nothing changed - until I found Rita and Bolder Strong. In just 8 weeks of Bolder Strong workouts, I can tell a huge change in my body. I am so much stronger and I look and feel great! Plus there are only 3 short workouts per week plus one flexibility session. Time saver! Thank you Rita!

As a woman in her mid-40’s, I’ve definitely noticed that it’s harder to maintain my physical shape than it used to be. When I learned about Rita’s Bolder STRONG 12-Week Program designed for women over 40, I knew I had to try it out. I completed the program and loved the results so much, I’m in the process of repeating it for another 12 weeks. As I went through the first 12 weeks, not only did I see results, but I felt results. I could feel myself getting stronger as I was able to increase the weights I was using and the number of reps. Something I really love about Rita’s teaching style is that she doesn’t just say “what” the exercise is, but the “why” behind its effectiveness, which is a great motivator. She teaches her classes in such a supportive and relatable manner it’s like working out with a friend. Rita makes safety a priority and I really appreciate all her cueing to ensure proper form for maximum results. Plus, she gives modifications on many exercises to accommodate individual needs. With respect to the program itself, I would call it “structured flexibility” - I love having a weekly plan for my workouts, but the program is designed with options a couple of days a week that allow me to choose what feels “right” for my body on a given day. Bolder STRONG is a wonderful workout program for women at any age, and it’s perfect for me at this stage of my life.

I recently completed Rita’s “4 Weeks to Strong” series of workouts, and I cannot say enough what a great program this is! It is the perfect blend of strength training and cardio exercises. Over the course of four weeks, I could really see how much stronger I had gotten, and how much my form had improved. I especially enjoyed the cardio kickboxing workouts because they are intense, fun, and don’t kill your knees. Thank you Rita for putting together such a fun and effective program! I can't wait to try the Boulder Strong 12 Week program.

Love Bolder Barre studio! I do PiYo classes and find that Lauren is so great at accommodating my back and knees issues. I love the music which is motivating and fun. The studio is very clean and new. The staff and other members are friendly, no attitude just smiles and positivity!

Fabulous instructors who create a "tribe" of supportive women. Always encouraged to strive to be stronger and healthier. It works for all ability levels and I love that teens and grandmothers are in the same class! Modifications are always given. I love the two beautiful studios with their nice retail area, shower and kitchen. The highly-trained instructors are first-rate, with professional attention to form - always alert to needed modifications. Great workouts, doesn't matter which barre instructor you take, they are all awesome! Bootcamp and Yoga with Stephanie is treat! All the instructors are so good & all have their own personalities that light up the place, they give you modifications if you need them and push you when you think you can't move another inch.
