We have nothing but wonderful things to say about Macie and her dance studio. She treats all of the children with kindness. My granddaughter is on her third year of dance at Macie’s studio and she loves the time that she spends there. Some children present extra challenges, but the teachers do an excellent job of trying to keep them on track as well as manage the entire class. It’s not easy to make sure everyone gets the experience that parents pay for when some children demand more attention than others.

Wonderful place. I took my two nieces here and they had a blast. Mrs. Macie was very attentive towards the girls. A very friendly and kind environment for little ones. Deserves more than 5 stars. Would recommend to anyone and everyone.

My granddaughter took classes as a 3 year old. Teacher gave out candy at the end of the class except my granddaughter. Because of this my child hates dance. Breaks my heart.

They need to read their religious appliqués in their studio. Plus I was reading posts they do not take children with ADD or special needs kids. You reap what you sow. My whole family died and my home flooded. I had to ask for money back because I was 40 miles away. They were not happy with that. No compassion whatsoever. But they have Christian scriptures all over the walls. It’s not like this happened intentionally. . When we came back they would not return my calls, my texts etc. My child’s feelings were really hurt. Hurting an adult is one thing but a child’s is different.

We love Macie's School of Dance. Miss Macie is very kind and she is great with the kids. She tries hard to keep the attention of little ones with lots of props in addition to teaching classical ballet in a creative manner. My little one loves to go to her dance class each week. As a parent on a budget, I find the prices to be reasonable.

My husband and I recently moved to Plant City and I excitedly called the local dance company to get my two children into their school. I had heard they had talented teacher. My son has Asperger's so I mentioned that on the phone. Without offering to meet him or give him a chance, I was told by THE OWNER that they do not handle special needs cases. This is discrimination and is against the law. I will be filing with the ADA to educate them but in the meantime I wanted to warn any special needs families about this practice.
