I tried my first class at MADabolic this past Sunday and I loved it! I take a ton of classes around Tampa because I have Class Pass, so I have a lot to compare to. With that being said, I can't wait to go back for another class!
Andie was my trainer on Sunday morning and she was great! I got there about 10 minutes early and she made sure to take the time to walk me through the studio and give me a run-down of what the flow of the class would look like. I felt prepared and welcomed!
Andie is also very involved during the whole class.... she makes sure she's checking form, especially with the new people. There were 3 or 4 new people, including me, so she had a lot to pay attention to.
She had great energy and her form is perfect as she demos every move.
Parking was a major plus as that's not always easy to come by in that area!
MADabolic is already saved as a Favorite in my Class Pass profile cuz I know I'll be back, more than once!

I have never been someone who loved going to the gym (I thought they were always very intimidating), but I’ve been a member at MADabolic for about 5 months now - and I can genuinely say it’s one of the best parts of my day. I go about four or five days out of the week, and I started to see the results almost immediately.
Andie, Casey, Lucas, and Dakotah are all truly wonderful coaches. They do a great job accommodating any of the workouts if it needs to be adjusted, they make sure you are doing each movement correctly, they are very intentional about making sure you are comfortable in their classes, they keep morale high, and they all have FIREEEE playlists.
MADabolic thrives on community so if you grew up in Tampa or you are new to the area, and you are looking for a gym where you get results AND an opportunity make a few friends - MADabolic is the perfect place to start!

I’ve been going to this gym for about a month now, and I honestly wish I had started sooner! At first, I was nervous to join, but from day one Andie and everyone in the classes made me feel so welcome. The atmosphere is fun, supportive, and full of good energy. I’ve been here for a short amount of time just going into my second month, but I love it, I can genuinely say there is no better gym for me. From the diversity of the workouts, the adrenaline pumping playlists, amazing coaches, to the lovely management it’s definitely worth everything! I see a positive change in things like my endurance and strength in such a short amount of time already! The gym is always clean and everyone who works out there are always so encouraging and friendly. The owner of this location is amazing and very nice to talk to, the amazing GM Andie has helped me so much (and also kicked my butt with her classes) and if you’re looking to take a class I definitely have to recommend Lucas! Always look forward to Thursday and Friday morning classes lead by him! Very encouraging and helpful with corrections! I love it here!

Since joining this gym I have lost 12 pounds in 4 months! I have felt myself get stronger and lift weights that I have never lifted before. My cardio is better, and my body is definitely changing. The workouts are always different and challenging, which makes each workout exciting. The people in the classes are all pushing each other and cheering each other on. It makes for such an inspiring environment. The coaches are attentive, and fun. They push you when you need it and correct you to ensure you are getting the most out of the movement. I love the fact there are no mirrors or screens in the room. It’s no bs just hard work, sweat, and fun.

I have been going to MADabolic since before it first opened its Tampa location through their pop up classes. I was an athlete my entire life and this is the first gym that is class oriented that the movements and type of training we do feels intentional. The programming itself also feels intentional through our different interval styles and incorporating a deload week for recovery every 13 weeks. In addition to all of this, I absolutely love the community this gym has offered me. Everyone is extremely welcoming and makes you feel comfortable. Lastly, the trainers here are very knowledgeable and are always willing to help you both during or after class on your form or other tips and tricks on different maintenance exercises, nutrition or other general health and wellness questions. I highly recommend this gym to anyone at any level.

I’ve been training at MADabolic for about 6 months and I absolutely love the workouts! Everyday is different but also intentional. The focus on strength is great and I appreciate that the exercises incorporate unilateral work that is helping improve my balance and prevent injury. The coaches are so knowledgable and truly “coach.” The members are encouraging and it’s overall a really fun experience! I’ve lost 10+ lbs and gained more muscle than I’ve ever had.

The dedication to members’ success began months before the physical building was even open, with trainers providing frequent pop-up workouts at parks and local businesses, and checking in often to see how we were doing. Now that the space has been open, attending workouts at MAD has become a consistent part of my life! I haven’t had such consistency in years, and as a busy working mom, that is quite the feat!! The convenient class times and efficient workout makes staying consistent achievable. The workouts are never boring and are backed by scientific research to be effective. All the trainers are so helpful and make sure that you are using correct form with all the moves. They are also super friendly and fun. I’m a lifetime exerciser and multiple Ironman Triathlon finisher. So to say I’ve done 1000s of hours of workouts is not exaggerating. Exercise and workouts had gotten boring. I wasn’t going. We saw Madabolic was about to open and joined in presale. Fast forward 6 weeks and I’ve done 21 classes. I haven’t been this motivated for workouts in a long time. Just went snow skiing for two days and the athletic lateral movements plus leg strength were a huge benefit. I out skied everyone on our party including two teenagers. Been doing Madabolic for about a month now & I absolutely love it. The workouts are diverse & challenging. The people are great, very knowledgeable & supportive. The workouts are made up of 3 different categories, and each class focuses on 5 different movements, one including boxing! Whether I’m going into anaerobic, momentum, or durability, I don’t really know what I’m about to walk into because every class is different and literally just so diverse I can’t explain it you just gotta try a few! These workouts are something I would never do at the gym on my own, and im feeling muscles in my body I never knew I had. This place motivates me & is just a really great gym routine if you want that overall strength training.

I moved to Tampa in August. I tried several gyms/fitness centers in the area that offered group classes and although each one had its appeal, I was looking for a gym that offered everything I was looking for - good programming, good coaches, good facilities and a community atmosphere. MADabolic is definitely the complete gym! In the short time I’ve been consistently attending, I already feel stronger, faster, and fitter. The programming is great. It’s never the same workout. I feel challenged and it’s such a friendly environment. I tried Madabolic for the first time with Coach Rachel…. She killed it!!!If I had to describe it as anything, I would compare to OT on speed and steroids at the same time. They create a full body workout every time, and continue to formulate their workouts to improve and work every part of your body. Unlike certain places where coaches don’t review each other’s workouts, and you end up doing say upper body 2 or 3 times a week. Neglecting other areas. Not to mention the most affordable strength based interval training!!!Yall gotta check it out and if you can check out Rachel’s class!
