One of the best bodybuilding gyms in the Tampa FL area. Old school bodybuilding vibes with a mix of New and old school pieces of equipment including Panatta and Arsenal. Has a very nice posing room with a ton of space and different light settings. Has a good selection of cardio equipment. The owner is a good guy and cares a lot about the gym and the members. He's in the gym daily talking to members, cleaning, training, and just making sure that everything is running smoothly. Definitely recommended going to this gym if you have an opportunity to.

Bodybuilding gym not big commercial lines with expensive fees. It’s a nice atmosphere laid-back looking for a good gym to lift and press some weights and are serious, about your goals.. Than this is it . I’ve trained in these same environment's the past 2 decades , you do have the option to hire private trainers fitness / prep coach ,bikini girls than this could be a great fit for you . Amazing owner .The Nicest person on the planet ! That other one star review is sadly 100% fake.

the gym is alright.
the owner is a chump though. and I mean that in the most respectful way possible.
their canx policy SUCKS. you call in and do the normal 30 day cancellation thing and then two months later you’re still being charged, they make it impossible after that to cancel.
even if you do month to month- which is what I went for and many of the people I recommended to this gym did as well.

I actually wanted to like this gym, I wanted people to like it but when we tried to leave, it got to the point where we were begging them to let us go- like a toxic ex, expect this one takes $50 a month from you.

I don’t recommend. One of our guys had to close down his bank account because the charges were insane monthly!

this is a true story and I have pics at this gym in case they try and say my review is a scam. I also have bank statements and msgs/emails. I have people- up to 5 that can tell you they experienced the same thing.

Ultimately, what let to their decision to finally let me and my peeps go was an agreement to pay a ridiculous amount plus an extra month. Part of their so called “canx policy” which they didn’t go over initially btw!!!

Be aware of the owners’ scam full ways!! dude is rude to you if he’s not getting paid from you.

But I’ll pray for him!

I forgot to mention that they want you to restock the equipment (like tissues, tp, cleaning supplies, etc) and basically clean the restroom yourself. The girls restroom hand soap has mold!!! I was like what the-. okay, now I’m done.

This is by FAR the best gym in the Brandon/ Tampa area . Handpicked machines by a knowledgeable owner are perfect for the avid lifter or the novice wanting to learn . Friendly/ clean environment .
Frankly if it weren’t for Metroflex , I’d have long ago bought a bottle of whiskey and a handgun and walked off into the woods . Not exaggerating. 5/5 would recommend

Amazing gym. If you’re tired of the “vanity” atmosphere that comes with most every gym in the area then this is the place for you. This is exactly what a gym is supposed to be. Great equipment, awesome feel and genuine people. If you go to the gym to sweat, push yourself and grow then you gotta check out Metroflex. If you go to the gym to be seen, show off your new workout gear then please, stay where you are.

Metroflex Brandon is one my favorite gyms I've used in my years of lifting and definitely one of the best gyms in the Tampa area. It has a motivating atmosphere and is always clean. It's not CRAZY busy like other gyms around. It has a old school gym feel about it, with a well rounded mix of free-weights and machines. This is great gym.

Great local old school type gym. The owner is there on a regular basis. Very clean. Clean bathrooms and showers. Great environment open 24-7 365 days a year. Top of the line equipment from arsenal strength, Panatta as well as some hard to get and very sought after equipment. No matter big, small, newbie, or a gym rat you can get a great work out here. I’m happy to be a member here from the first day I signed up I feel good about this gym journey. I met with the owner Matt he’s a really cool guy he gave me a tour of the place on my first day then on the next day when I came he demonstrated in front of me on how to used some of the equipments which I loved that. Now starting next week I will be working with a trainer name Josh I look forward to learning more exercises and having a routine when I go to the gym. This is a great gym and less crowded which I love that about this place.

I wanted to follow up on a previous review that I left and have now removed. I had previously been communicating with a payment service and we werent accurately getting across information to one another.

When I finally spoke with the Owner of the gym, Matt, everything went much better. I had been using a joint account to pay for services and didn’t realize the other person on my account had disputed charges to the gym, believing I had paused it. Which was true, but not realizing it I couldn’t understand why I was being billed more than I believed I owed. Matt went above and beyond to rectify everything for me and he was so easy to talk with.

I think it’s a great idea to reach out to him directly if you have any issues with payment because he is more than fair. He called me while I was at my sons party, so I couldn’t answer, but he left me a really nice email. I’m looking forward to heading back to Metro soon!
