Yoga studio Meditation instructorAbout the Club
I am an experienced yoga/meditation teacher, a personal trainer, & strength/mobility coach. I work one-on-on, in person or online with clients. All bodies are good bodies: I welcome the body you are in without judgment. I am size-inclusive: HAES-friendly, fat-accepting, & weight-neutral.
I offer accessible, trauma-informed movement, mindfulness & embodiment practices that are designed to alleviate the symptoms of stress, anxiety & depression. Each client gets a practice tailored to them: mobility, strength, restorative, or whatever is needed for physical, mental & nervous system support.
These practices are designed to be affirming for those who feel they are not welcome or comfortable in traditional βfitnessβ spaces.

Such a wonderful and welcoming space. Classes are accessible to all levels, yet still challenging to an experienced practitioner. It's my go-to place. I will never love another studio as I love this one. It will forever hold a special place in my heart due to all the great teachers, fellow yogis and amazing experiences I have had there.

YogaFish is a wonderful studio with amazing teachers and a peaceful, accepting, and energetic vibe. The space where the classes take place is spacious and tranquil, and the spirit of the studio is to "do what's right for your body." Regardless of what the rest of the class is doing, no judgment is passed if you need to modify a pose, opt out of certain movements, or simply need to take a child's pose mid-class.
My favorite classes here are the Vinyasas with Laura. Her classes always have an arch to them which I love - starting out by getting in touch with your breath and your mind, moving on to slow movements and vinyasas, and then more strenuous work with balance, strength, and core, and finally slowing it down with more stretching and finally savasana (lying down meditation). They are always just the right amount of strength, flexibility, meditation, and spirituality.
After trying out yoga studios many different states and cities, YogaFish is my favorite yoga studio that I have been to thus far, and I would recommend it to anyone interested in yoga. Everyone there is extremely accommodating: eager to help you get in the swing of yoga if you are a beginner, or modify poses to make them more challenging if you are an experienced yogi. Likewise, if you have any health/body issues the instructors are happy to talk with you about what movements are right and wrong for your body.

Laura has a wonderful group of teachers working here, with a style for everyone, from Yin to Restorative to Strong Vinyasa. What I love most about this place is the non-competitive, welcoming environment. As a practitioner of yoga for over 20 years, I have practiced in a lot of yoga studios, and have seen it all! The positive energy of the staff, the peaceful, calming studio itself, and the knowledge they share freely all to make Yogafish the best place in Stuart to practice. And if you say you "can't do yoga because you're not flexible..." then try Yogafish, seriously. It's life-changing.
