I love Move! I have been going since 2023, the classes are different and bring you back to childhood sometimes with certain exercises. Now going to move while pregnant has been the best with the guidance of Gaby. She focuses on breathing and pregnancy safe movements, follows up and has been very attentive. All the other coaches are amazing as well and the stretching and mobility classes are amazing!! Highly recommend for mom’s prenatal and postnatal care. Its also nice that they have weekend classes. The prices are better than physical therapy if you are making a decision on personal investments for self care

MOVE is such a special gym! It seems unreal to have access to calisthenics classes, a personal trainer, AND open gym time. My coach Anika is the most patient, creative, and genuinely invested person. She loves to see her clients succeed, she really listens, and her silly and fun personality makes working out actually enjoyable! It’s like being a kid again! I can’t recommend Move, Ashleigh, Coach Gabbi and crew enough! Gabbi was fantastic during our Fundamentals class. Since training with her, as well as Coaches Anika, Jorge and Chase in just one month, I’ve become noticeably stronger, more flexible, and more mobile in my day-to-day life…and I can hang out on the rings a bit longer and do a semblance of a hand or headstand 😝 Every session is challenging yet motivating, and they always take the time to make sure exercises are done safely and effectively. If you’re looking for coaches who truly care about your goals and know how to get you there, this is the place for you!

I decided to reach out to Ashleigh because I noticed that despite training consistently, my energy levels were all over the place and being in my early 60s, post-menopause, my weight kept increasing. At 48 years old, I never thought I would have fun exercising. This gym makes me feel so young! I can see improvement in my strength and mobility in just a couple of months. The trainers/coaches all have wonderful personalities. They have offered me remote training for when I am on business trips. The class sizes are small, so I can easily get personal modifications if I have a joint/muscle that is giving me trouble. I also have a key fob so I can weight train, stretch or cartwheel when there are no classes. At my old $10/mo. big box gym, I put in $10 worth of effort and saw very little (if any) improvement. MOVE is worth every penny because I feel stronger, more flexible, more toned and more energetic than I have in many years. I have seen some clients at MOVE that look to be in their 70's, and I hope that's me someday!

Really enjoyed working with Anika. I signed up for private lessons with Anika, which were very much worth it, as I learned quite a bit about movement and my own physical abilities through our one one-on-one sessions. Anika's energy is contagious, and she stays extremely positive, taking just as much joy (if not more) from all of your wins as you progress in your goals. I started working with Ashleigh after the first of the year focusing on my nutrition. Well Ashleigh did not give me a diet, over these months she has helped me redefine my health and wellness. We have regular check ins, some tough love 💗 and focus on eating well balanced, whole food choices as much as possible. I have learned what macros work for me and what supplements to enhance the journey. I am 54 and in menopause and the changes to my body and the way it responded to all the things it used to was so discouraging but Ashleigh cuts through all the noise. There are real tests and blood work to evaluate true levels not some stop light, one size fits all system of evaluating health. I was not getting support from my PCP and was just told don’t take “ABC” or watch your carbs…never any education or alternatives and I felt like crap. No More! You do not have to live your life not feeling your best and by adding exercise, I feel so strong. Life is a journey and we are all a work in progress. We need Ashleigh’s to help us along the way. I am so glad I found her and have her support ❤️

I started at MOVE to work on my flexibility and gymnastics and decided to try the nutrition coaching. I have been training for over a decade but noticed what worked for my physique in my 30s was not working any longer. I am a mom, wife, full time employed and barely have enough time for myself. I really love how coach Ashleigh has got me back on track with strengthening and nutrition! I feel good again! I’ve been working hard these past few months and am seeing the results. My search for a nutrition coach led me to Ashleigh and I could not be more grateful. I am in my early 60s, post-menopausal and although I’m disciplined about my workouts and strength training, I had a fluffy midsection. Within minutes of the intro call with Ash, I knew I really, really wanted to work with her. Instead of putting me into an off the shelf program, Ash’s approach is to really get to know the potential client to determine if there is alignment between what you want out of the program and what she can offer. And she offers a lot! Each call has been a learning experience – not just a review of my food diary. The knowledge I’ve gained about what works for my body at this age from my nutrition to supplementation has truly been life changing. She explains the whys in a manner that is understandable and she creates a plan that works with your particular life circumstance. Within a couple weeks of starting, I could see a change in my body which was amazing. Even more impactful to me though was how much better I was feeling! I am lifting heavier than I ever have in my life and my endurance in the tough conditioning classes I take has greatly increased. My sleep has improved and I’m not feeling those energy fluctuations that I was feeling both mid-morning and mid-afternoon. I’ve gained confidence and the best relationship with food that I’ve ever had. I truly understand fueling in a way I never did before. I’m so grateful to Ashleigh. They always find a level I can do and the improvement is remarkable. I was pleased at the level of activity I could maintain on a recent trip. If you’re skeptical, nervous, or concerned about what others might think of you—think again! My story is a long one, but I’ll keep it short. I suffered a serious back injury from improper training, which left me in a back brace for months, barely able to walk, and experiencing numbness in my legs and feet. After moving to Florida in 2022, I didn’t find the right fit until a few months ago when I discovered MOVE.

At this point, my body isn’t very strong—yet—but things are improving, and I’m learning how to avoid triggers. What sets MOVE apart is that the trainers are genuinely educated, care deeply, and are authentically invested in your well-being. I mostly work with Checko, and I truly trust his advice. He’s gone above and beyond to help me identify my body’s compensations so I can work out in a way that promotes healing and strength—restoring muscle tone in a functional, non-compensatory way.

I’ve also become a regular in one of Chase’s classes, largely due to my schedule. The clear communication between Checko and Chase is amazing. Chase always watches out for me with such genuine care. Ashley, the owner, has created a model that every gym should adopt. I’m only a few months into my journey, attending classes twice a week, but I already feel the difference.

The culture at MOVE is one of kindness—there’s no judgment, just kind, welcoming members. Many people here are recovering from different types of pain or injury, so we’re all working at different levels, yet still supporting each other. It’s truly a breath of fresh air. Speaking of breath, as it’s my area of expertise, I love the conversations we have about integrating breath into our movements.

As they say, Rome wasn’t built in a day, and I’m so glad I chose MOVE to accompany me on this healing, toning, and strengthening journey. As a small business owner in holistic health, I’ve learned to recognize those who truly care versus those just looking to increase their profit margins. While businesses need to be profitable, here, the people are definitely the priority. The investment in clients is clear, and I’m so grateful for that.

MOVE is the best training I’ve done for mobility, curing injuries, and counteracting general atrophy of my body. Wish I had come sooner!! was referred here after dealing with significant pain in my shoulder and hips for over a year that had only gotten worse over time. In just a few sessions with Jesse, I already saw significant improvement! Not only did I receive the tools I needed to help correct imbalances and weaknesses in certain muscles, but everything was explained to me so I could understand what was happening with my body, how it all functions together, and what I need to prioritize going forward. I’ve been going to Move for almost a year now and it’s fantastic. I’ve been to many other types of gyms and have never felt the amount of community and support that I do here. The classes are well rounded and the additional option for personal training really helps for honing in on specific goals. I originally started going to Move for the purpose of cross training for aerial and pole dance, but I can honestly say that calisthenics has joined the rank of fitness activities I genuinely enjoy.

On top of all of this, I have also been working on my nutrition and training with Ash for the last 3 months. I still have a ways to go but have made better progress with losing fat + building strength with her guidance than I have in the past with another coach. It’s amazing to feel like my diet is more focused on health than restriction and I can work things into my regular meals that I never thought I’d be able to eat easily again…like olives!

Jesse Lapiana in the man! Been dealing with some major low back pain and hip tightness for years now. A bit of history with MOVE and Ashleigh ... followed her from Clearwater Beach Fitness and continue to has we improve my wellness, recovery and strength with her Nutrition program. I went through Breast cancer, chemo and radiation which is the reason why I am 100% supportive of "taking care of myself".. which then relates to overall wellness with friends, family and my work. Coach Jorge has been thru many of my injuries as I wasn't eating properly or enough to keep me going and wondered why I wasn't losing weight or gaining muscle. I started my transformation journey one year ago not knowing that nutricion was the answer. I was underweight and skinny and my goal was to gain muscle, gain weight and to become stronger. I started working out at OTF and definitely became stronger few months later. However, I started having issues with being dizzy, shaky, not able to fall asleep at night and wasn’t able to perform well at OTF classes. I started working with Ashleigh about 5 months ago, she monitored my food intake and it became clear that I was not eating enough food for the amount of exercise I was doing. Slowly over few months I went from eating 1200 calories per day to 2,200 calories per day. Ashleigh calculated how much protein, carbs, and fats I needed. And on a weekly basis we would go over the week and set new goals for the next week. With new nutrition schedule I am able to perform better at OTF without becoming dizzy, weak and dehydrated. I gained 8 pounds, I gained muscle within just few months! I feel better, I look better and I perform better. This is a lifestyle change and my body appreciates it because now it gets fed balanced meals. I also realized that everyone is different, and one size does not fit all. Everyone has different needs, different goals, different obstacles. I love working with Ashleigh because she makes the plan individually catered for me. There is still lots of work ahead of me but I like what I am seeing. The change has become real since I started working with Ashleigh. I highly recommend this fantastic nutritionis ❤️

The MOVE nutrition program is fantastic! I wanted to take the time to write a short review for people like me who had never taken advantage of participating in a well-run nutrition program geared toward athletes. It’s a game-changer. I decided to invest in it because I was working out and training a lot, yet I felt tired every day and wasn’t seeing reasonable progress toward my goals. Putting effort and time in and not feeling/seeing improvements is discouraging. I was motivated to increase fitness and health but also have more time to commit to growing my business. Ashley was living her life this way, and I wanted to learn what she was doing. By guiding my high-level caloric and macro intake, Ashley opened my eyes to what was happening to me. I had established a long-time pattern of chronic undereating (lacking protein and carbs, especially) and using weight instead of body composition as a marker for health. Increasing calories, targeting appropriate daily macros, and tracking body composition and muscle-to-fat ratio (rather than just weight) have helped me take a big step toward overall vitality. Best coaches ever. I’ve worked one-on-one with Chris, Jorge, and Jesse and gone to Chase’s classes and all of them are top notch. Everyone is so motivational and there’s not an ounce of snobbishness at this gym. Each have their own sort of specialities while also being well rounded and each have contributed to my rehabilitation.

I’ve been able to progress in many ways from being totally weak, in pain and broken to finally getting my strength back and even doing things that are fun, handstands, jumping, and things I never thought I would be able to do.

I see kids to 80 year old people and guys who seem to be FUBU all the way to athletes all working at their own level towards greatness and making gains so it’s nice to be in an inclusive environment.

I was initially acquainted with MOVE in October 2022 when I attended a Wim Hof workshop. I was in the midst of a pretty traumatizing health challenge and was in a space of limbo in what I had been dealing with for over 3 years and what was to come. I was working on holistic healing and didn't know what would come of my work. Something about this space, because it's SO much more than a 'gym,' enthralled me and just caught me up. Even though I was in a space of distress and not knowing my future I KNEW I'd be back, even if I didn't know how exactly or when, I KNEW I'd be back and hopefully training with these people. Ash drew me in as well, I was intrigued with knowing MOVE and I had no idea why. I'm an empath and energy healer and I also trust in God's divine timing and intervention, and MOVE was and is a part of that for me. I moved here from Colorado in late 2021 and am still unfamiliar with Florida, but I immediately felt invited in even though it hadn't even been discussed yet. After months of fighting for my health and then ultimately having an unfortunate surgery I officially closed that traumatic chapter of my life. I was ordered to wait 6 weeks to do anything physically. As soon as that time was up I looked up MOVE and I set a date to come and try a class. Ash immediately called me personally and we chatted for a bit. This place is no joke! They actually care about YOU and your history, your present and what you are seeking. They make the experience EXTREMEMLY personal in a good way. You feel like your time ( I drive an hour to and from this amazing space now 4 days a week) is well spent, your investment is well spent and you actually feel and see your progress. The energy in this space is amazing and I know energy! The people are from all backgrounds, all experiences, trauma's, surgeries, healing, doesn't matter this place has the most beautiful people. The trainers are top notch, best in class and most experienced. I've worked with most of them and enjoy every single one of these humans. I feel like I'm taken care of and I am not progressed until I work up to that point of earning it, and because of that injuries are really of no concern at all. They will tell you if you're not ready for a progression if you're not ready, and you work your way there with hard work and when you do get there it feels so good! I could seriously keep going on, but I've been working out and training there since March now and I'm super happy with my investment! I feel SO blessed to be at MOVE. Wow! Love this place. I moved to Florida almost two years ago and I had my eye in this place well before I moved. Because I live in Tampa it took a few months of living here before I fully committed to joining this gym. Best decision I’ve ever made! The coaches are extremely knowledgeable (pretty sure they invented calestinics) and the classes are well balanced between strength, mobility, and flexibility. Regardless of the class most people are able to do two in a row and it’s always a good time! I have a lot of fun here and have continued to improve my personal fitness. I can't begin to tell you all of the benefits that I have gotten from joining MOVE gym. My trainer, Jorge, assessed my physical needs and put together an unbelievable training program for me. He really knows how to stretch the body in order to maximize all my muscles. He even ordered toe separators for me to wear when we work out, so as to strengthen my feet (weakened from surgery).
When I see other people working out there, doing phenomenal exercises and gymnastic moves, I tell Jorge that is what I want to be able to do, and he tells me I'm on my way to be able to do it. I feel that my body is waking up for the first time in a long time, and it feels stronger, more energetic, and the endorphins make it happier.
Jorge knows his job so well, and has an instinct to recognize how much is needed to build the body to its maximum capacity. It is very observable that everyone who works there has the desire to help all their clients. It is a great gym, very different from regular gyms, as are their classes, and I am thrilled that I found them.

I wanted to leave a review for Move GST and how great of an experience I am having thus far. My story for looking into them to begin with….. I have always been involved with sports such as rugby and ice hockey. Meaning they were not always the easiest on my body with many injuries including torn rotator cuffs in both shoulders. Now that I have gotten older, and my traditional workouts and activities were not giving me the results I was hoping for. I decided to try a new approach to my workouts and look into Move and their gymnastics based strength training. I went through the basic foundation classes with my personal coach Jorge. He was extremely helpful, and of course really showed me how I have been lacking in my flexibility and core strength. The classes he put me through were extremely helpful, fun, and damn sure a great workout. I have now been through 5 of the regular classes, normally with about 10 or so other gym members. The atmosphere in the classes is great and upbeat. They are quite fun, and of course very challenging (which really excite me). All the coaches have been very attentive to my past injuries in my shoulders. So they customize variations of the exercises to keep the core work out in tact and keep me progressing. I find myself dripping sweat and worn out after each class, which is a great feeling I have been missing with all my past workouts. Ohhhh and for your dog lovers…. They have three great puppies that are part of the atmosphere at Move. They are so friendly and fun to have around while we are all going through the workouts. I hope my review help to give you a reason to come in and talk with Ashleigh and her Team at Move. You WONT regret it I promise you! If you are really wanting to get into a work out routine that will definitely help get you excited to workout again. Working as a nurse and being a grad student TIME is critical - the app and follow-ups are seamless, easy and effective. FOUNDATIONAL work, how many of my patients have joint/tendon/ligament injuries? COUNTLESS. Physical Health has to include JOINT Health. When I walked in to Move, I was 20+ lbs heavier and unable to raise my left arm due to muscle weakness and range of motion issues. My left shoulder, pec, and lat were battered by 35 radiation treatments and 7 surgeries. This in addition to chemo due to a stage 3 breast cancer diagnosis took its toll on my strength and contributed to my weight gain. After years of physical therapy at the hospital, the occupational therapist said, "You may have to accept the fact that it's always going to be like this." And so I took that as a challenge and found Move. I met Ash and was quickly assigned to personal trainer, Blythe, who is absolutely amazing! I now have full range of motion on my left side and, using a 15 lb db, can do 15 single arm dumbbell presses and 20 single arm dumbbell high pulls. Needless to say, I am improving - losing weight and rebuilding my strength. I am now cancer free and still on my fitness journey. I highly recommend Move!

I can't say enough good things about Move. First off this is a unique facility with amazing staff. Their knowledge and commitment to your health are 2nd to none.

I have been dancing since I was three years old. After having children, my body changed drastically. There were several times where I felt that I may not be able to dance anymore due to some longterm misalignment issues combined with my body getting older. At first I was skeptical to try gymnastics training, I don't know why. Maybe just because I had been doing the same training my whole life and I was nervous to try something new. However, I quickly found out that the stretching and strengthening at MOVE was exactly what I needed. By training muscles that I really have never used before, specifically doing training handstands and bridges, I am already seeing a major change in my aesthetic in just a few short weeks. My experience was so great; I figured it would be great for my two athletic boys. My oldest son who is deep into baseball, my second son who is a huge soccer fan. Knowing the areas of myself that I strengthened; I knew my son who is a pitcher needed to learn more about his arms, both for him and for me. How do I make sure my son does not injure himself? Move knows the answers! If you have joint pains, if you have a youth child who is very athletic and needs to learn more about mobility, without any question I would recommend Move gymnastics!

I have been working with Ashleigh from Move Gymnastics.
I had trouble with my lower back and mild sciatica, as well as trouble with pain in my shoulder. After 3 training sessions it was gone! No joke - I was surprised as I spent a lot of time trying to figure out how to improve this condition. Now the pain and the sciatica is just not there. Do you know how many things I did for this thing?! Also, I am getting stronger and more flexible. I went running the other day and I felt I could do it more easily and had actually increased performance after a few virtual training sessions. This is amazing. I highly recommend to start a program to improve your overall physical condition... the fact is that it works and no one can argue with great results.

I’ve had chronic lower back problems for years and most of that time literally bed ridden needing assistance in walking, showering etc... it was actually ruining my way of life. With loads of physical therapy now combined with Ashleigh at Move I am finally making leaps and bounds towards handling my body. I can’t thank Ashleigh enough for her patience and knowledge in how to isolate the crucial muscles and strengthening them to ensure I am more physically stable! I’m 47 and haven’t worked out in awhile due to an autoimmune disease I developed in 2015 (Achalasia). I had surgery and was so ready to get my life back. I started training with Move, Ashleigh is my trainer, in the fall of 2020. Even with personal ups and downs I’m so much stronger and flexible than ever before. The workouts we do I do them from home. I never in my life imagined myself working out on rings! And honestly they are my favorite piece of equipment. The workouts are intense but will not leave you unable to function the next day. I’ve noticed a big change in the way I feel. I am so happy and blessed that I found MOVE. I just wished I lived closer so I could workout in their facility.

I was introduced to Move by a good friend Brenna. She told me about Jesse one of their trainers and a program that could help my son with some mobility training specific to his passion baseball. After meeting with Ashley the owner of move and seeing Jesse fix one of JD's major issues (heal pain from poor form) in a quick 15 min trial...... I was hooked!

After having baby number 2 I knew I needed some help to get back to my pre-baby weight. In addition, I have a history of some significant back pain and problems. I decided to reach out to Ashleigh with MOVE who got me started with some personal training.

I am a physical therapist with Select Physical Therapy in Palm Harbor, FL and working with both Blythe and Jason I have not only got back to my pre-baby weight but I have learned more exercises and ways to rehab my patients. The trainer's knowledge of anatomy and biomechanics was impressive to me as a professional and they even taught me a few things.

I would recommend MOVE (Blythe and Jason in particular) to work with you, not only to get the body you want, but also to work with any pre-existing conditions you may have. My back has never felt better!!

I’ve completed the intro series and am now taking classes. I sought Move GST out because I needed help with regaining strength after an injury that is effecting my performance in my profession.

The coaches are quite knowledgeable. I am challenged while keeping my spine safe. I have been able to participate fully in classes with NO PAIN.

In just a few weeks. I can see improvements with my strength and mobility. Don’t be intimidated by the amazing performance of the coaches and clients. They are a talented group at training you through the building blocks for optimal performance and reduced risk of injury.

I have been training at Move for 3 months now, and I literally have never shaped up more quickly nor gained more strength and flexibility so fast than with any other type of training. I'm an 'older' woman, and my body has changed so much already! And, the trainers are HIGHLY trained on fitness/movement/nutrition - they know everything about the body, and they all are so considerate and encouraging. Plus they all can do great gymnastic tricks - feats of strength and flexibility that are AWESOME - it's a great treat to watch and is very inspirational. Since July 2015 I have had 6 spine surgeries, two fusion surgeries in my neck and 4 low back surgeries. I was medically retired from the Army in July 2018 and was pretty down about the shape I was in, but my low back pain and neck pain kept me from being able to do the activities I loved to do. In May of 2019 The Wounded Warrior Project offered an hour class at Move Gymnastics, and with it only being 5 minutes from my house I decided to go, and now I must say it was one the best decisions I have ever made. The trainers at MOVE take the time to understand your physical limitations, and modify exercises to meet your abilities without making you feel less than the more advanced students. I have gained mobility in all my joints, even though I have a long way to go, and my chronic pain is gone, just that change is amazing. Training with Ashleigh Gass

I met Ashleigh Gass in Tampa Florida in November of 2017 and conducted several training session with her. I learned several principle, techniques and exercises that positively changed my quality of life and the way I train.

I am a Special Forces Soldier with 21 years in the Army and 12 combat deployments. During my time in 3rd Special Forces Group (Airborne) I have received three purple hearts for injuries sustained during deployments in Afghanistan. One was from a large blast injury and the other two from sustaining bullet wounds to the right hand, buttocks, right leg and right back area. These injuries have left me with sever mobility, and pain issues, in my leg, right shoulder and back. My back become such an issue in 2016 that I ended up in a wheel chair temporary.

After training with Ashley I have started to incorporate much more body weight, stability, mobility and gymnastics exercises into my workout regime. I have started to incorporate Jefferson Curls and back bridging exercises into almost every warm up. Core exercises focus around exercises such as pikes and hollow body rocks. Weighted mobility exercises and the use of therapist to scrap tight muscles and tendons have greatly increased my ability to move freely.

Our first workout together she had me conduct seemingly simple exercises that led me to being completely smoked. I remember that she has us do 5 rounds of hollow body rocks. Seemed incredibly simple and during the first round I commented to myself about how simple the exercise seemed. By the end of round two my entire core was on fire and I had great difficulty completing the next three rounds. After these and doing pikes I was left sore the next day in places I am not sure I have ever had muscle soreness in. She had me do Jefferson Curls with a very low weight and explained the progression of this exercise to eventually being able to do your body weight. I have incorporated doing these into almost every workout and for the first time since I can remember I don’t wake up with my back locked up and extremely painful.

After incorporating mobility and gymnastics exercises into my routine I feel like I can move freely again and with minimal pain. At 41 years old I can still easily outperform most of our younger soldiers. This was not the case four years ago before I started heavily incorporating more mobility and gymnastics exercises into my routine where pain and mobility issues effected my performance.

Ashleigh and I have known each other and trained together over the past 8 years. So after I fell and fractured my fibula February 5th and had surgery February 11, I immediately reached out to Ashleigh. Why....because she is the most knowledgeable fitness, rehab trainer I know. Even though my accident happened in Michigan, I knew I wanted her to be the person that would bring me back from this mess. She contacted an associate Erin Coughenour, The Physio Doc for the important Physical Therapy part of my recovery. As soon as I was released for rehab a friend drove me to Florida. Communication was key as I started working with both them. I spent the entire month of April with these two amazing ladies along with my Massage Therapist Jacqueline Hielsher. This group effort took me from functioning on a knee scooter when I arrived to walking on my own to the car that I drove back to Michigan. Ashleigh and Erin are continuing to monitor my progress by phone. I can not tell you how much I appreciate the expertise and knowledge of all three of these ladies. Thank you again........

I started their Fundamentals program in December to work on my mobility, I’ve experimented HUGE gains in less than 3 months. I’d hoped my chronic shoulder pain would go away - altho. But what I didn’t expect my constant headaches to go away too (I guess those things had something to do with each other?)

I’ve worked out most of my adult life but mostly by myself and then maybe a class here and then. Did the YMCA, even did some personal training. The trainers at Gymnastics Body are in a league of their own. They really understand the body, how it moves and can actually train you properly. I look back at my past training and with the exception of one person, I see now that none of them really had the in depth knowledge that these guys do.

Also, the gym itself is really clean and the staff are nice.

So grateful I’ve found this place. I always look forward to my super early 6AM stretch class!!

The class is fun and scientifically designed to strength some muscles and stretch some other muscles. The moderm routine working and life style cause us over using some muscles and lack using other muscles. Chronic muscle strain cause a lot of recurrent pain.
