I've been working out with Maja for about 1.5 years. I was about to turn 40 and kept gaining weight so I started looking for a personal trainer. I’ve been working with Maja and MyFit Personal Training for about 6 months now and am so happy with my progress. Working with Maja has been one of the best decisions I have ever made for my health and fitness! Maja has been my coach for over 4 years. In that time, she has trained and guided me to be my best self. In the gym, she firm about using proper form to prevent injury and supportive to helping me realize all of my potential.
Outside of the gym, she's taught me quick and simple ways to improve my health through a good eating habits. Her number one says is " Eat the rainbow". The saying means to eat fruits and vegetable that reflect all the colors of the rainbows. Greens are good, but greens alone will not get you to proper health. A well balance meal is better than just cutting calories or overtraining.
Maja's using a personal approach to helping her clients. She takes the time to learn what is important to you, what goals you want to achieve, and she adapts her knowledge to help you achieve your goals. If you want to lose weight, gain muscle, or become a competitive weightlifter, Maja will get you there. I came in first place at my first Oly meet back in 2019. Maja has been my strength training coach for about 5 months now and I could not ask for a better coach! She is so enthusiastic and gives me confidence and energy to make the most out of every session. I see her in person once a week and she programs workouts twice a week for me to do on my own. I found Maja from a friend of a friend. I was at a real low point, having put on 30 lb in the past year. Maja called me and invited me to participate in the six week transformation challenge. She was positive, funny, encouraging, and realistic. She did not push workout routines that were too far beyond my 47 year old physical ability, but yet encouraged growth. In the 6 weeks since the challenge, I have seen my strength increase, my attitude improve, and I feel like I have a friend that I can call and Maja will provide accurate nutrition advice, positive steps to achieve goals, and a fun workout atmosphere. She is not going to push a teetotal diet plan or crazy weightlifting on you - unless that's your goal. She is a previous teacher so she is good at explaining how to do the exercises correctly and identify which muscles you are using. She listens and understands your fitness goals and guide you there without yelling or making the workout an unpleasant experience. We laugh and sweat and laugh some more! She is a tiny package but a powerhouse of knowledge and inspiration! I count myself as a person who exercises again, and that has given me the hope that I don't have to settle for being sluggish, overweight and sad. I look forward to her classes and the nice people that I have met there. Oh, and I can see the bit of definition in my arms again! I'm hooked! Highly recommend!

Maja is hands down the best. She is the type of coach that goes above and beyond. You will not find her sitting in the corner hanging out as you workout. She is there every step of the way and will help with your form or with any questions or concerns. I got the chance to workout under her a few years ago and was completely green to the gym life. She took me under her wing and taught me everything I needed to know. Most of all she helped push me out of my comfort zone and introduced me to weightlifting and Fitness competitions which I instantly fell in love with.
Fast forward to this year. I just had my baby after a rough pregnancy that left me dormant for the entire 9 months. After being cleared from my doctor she put together an amazing postpartum plan to ease me back in without fear of getting hurt. If I didn’t have her I would probably be in my garage gym right now throwing way too much weight around and probably injuring myself beyond repair.
If you have made it this far I’m guessing you are serious about finding the right trainer. Maja can take on anything you can think of to throw at her. You can be green, you could need a confidence boost, maybe you need someone to take it easy with you, or need someone to tell you how is is and give you constructive criticism, or maybe you signed up for your first competition and have no idea where to start or maybe you just gave birth and you want to be as strong as possible to take care of your little ones. No matter what she is a chameleon that can fit your needs.

Maja got me strong and walking again!
A few years ago, I ended up with peripheral neuropathy , nerve damage, as a side effect of other health issues I was having. As someone who has always worked physical jobs either as a server and bartender or doing lighting and carpentry for theatre, this was my nightmare! I was in so much pain, my body had gotten to the point where I could barely walk, and I could no longer stand from a sitting position without using something to help pull myself up.
Maja used her extensive knowledge to tailor my workouts specifically for my body and my issues. She was patient and encouraging throughout my recovery and got me up and mobile in no time. I honestly don’t know what I would have done with out her. She’s a life saver!

By far, Maja has been the most instrumental coach in my training process to get back on track to a healthy lifestyle.
