Man the music in this place is absolutely horrible!! I thought this was a place to work out not get enter a disco party. Get with the program on what work out music is, and I saw on the other reviews, we don’t want your wifi music if we were gonna go that route we would wear headphones.

Equipment has been updated or taken care of for over 20 plus years. No new equipment such as dumbbells or cardio. Bathrooms are horrible and moldy. Staff is friendly. Some equipment is residential and not commercial such as the squat rack that is from Dicks Sporting goods. Still enjoy working out there but come on. Please get some new equipment so I know my membership is going towards something new there.

The staff are very friendly, and there is a guy who cleans the gym nightly who does a great job. That said, the place is really starting to fall apart. I have been coming on and off for the past 10 years or so and I don't think a single piece of equiptment has been updated. Old stuff usually isn't the end of the world, but a lot of it has not been maintained well. The machines are no longer smooth; the cables have a ton of slack in them and rub on the pullies; the dumbells and benches are falling apart; and all of the barbells are bent significantly. The gym is doing the absolute minimum to keep its clients and thrives on its great location.

Do not go here!!! I had someone buy me a “membership” they stopped paying and now it’s my responsibility! I only went there for not even a month which was in October. They want me to pay the $75 cancellation fee and what’s funny is I asked that when I signed “papers” that it was supposed to be month to month and would stop when I say as I didn’t want a commitment. I called to cancel right after I moved and the guy said it would be cancelled 😡 The lady I talked to today was so rude to me and hung the phone up. I’ve been to many gyms and this one is not worth it in my opinion! Bad customer service and equipment!

They really need to replace the dumbbells… they are all worn and plastic shrounding crumbling off getting in your eyes mid set. Equipment is so old, the place is like a dungeon. There are also people who bring their children after hours and on off days and they get in the way/run around. Other than these few problems it’s a good gym. Staff is friendly.

It's a great gym, great people run the classes and we appreciate that they participate with Silver Sneakers. The downside is if you don't sign up exactly 48 hours in advance via the Internet, you don't get into a class because the space is too small. If you're not computer savvy or unable to sign up exactly 48 hours in advance, you lose out. ☹️

It's an okay gym - they have everything for you to get a good workout in hence the 3 stars. I love meeting people here and the staff are super sweet and nice. BUT all the equipment is so old! The cables need to be replaced (see picture) - that will snap at one point and hurt someone. The dumbbells need to be replaced (see picture) - all the plastic is coming off it and particles fall on your face or into your eyes while doing chest press or similar exercises. They should put wooden platforms instead of rubber mats at the squat rack. And just replace other equipment that is absolutely super rusty. Honestly, it's concerning because it feels like at any point any piece of equipment can snap on you.

I like working out here, especially the way the gym is laid out...cardio in one room, free weights in another, weight machines in another. They also play music from the 70s, which is my personal favorite. When you become a member, you have access to the gym 24/7 and there is always staff present. Would highly recommend.

I've been using this gym for almost a year. All of the staff is polite and courteous. The facility is nice with lots of free weights and cardio equipment. I recently started using Mike Gill who is a personal trainer. He is very knowledgeable with an extensive background in personal training and nutrition. We discussed my goals and within a short amount time I've started seeing results by following his plan and guidance. I would definitely recommend this gym and their trainers.

I've been using NSAC for the past 3 years. They are conveniently located. The staff there is very friendly and helpful. Mike Gill is my trainer there. He is providing me with insight, dietary help and providing the kind of accountability I need to improve my shape and physical health. Not only do I always feel welcomed at NSAC, but the management is attentive to any issues with equipment or facilities. They promote an atmosphere of respect and consideration, which is attractive to me.

Great place to workout, a lot bigger than it looks from the outside! They have flat, incline and decline benches. Smith machines, squat racks ,lots of free weights and everything thing else you need to get those gains. The owner and staff are amazing and really friendly. There’s always coffee at the door during business hours to give you a little boost to get through your workout. There’s 2 gyms within walking distance of my house but I would rather make the 12 minuet drive to work out here. By far the best gym in the area with great membership prices.

I visited the club a few times when I was on holiday in New Smyrna Beach in January, 2018. I found the place was very clean and has all the exercise equipment that I needed. The staff were knowledgeable, friendly and willing to answer my questions and lend a hand. I was very happy with the club and will visit again whenever I am in town.

This gym is so much bigger than it appears from the street!! I love going here! The classes are wonderful, the equipment is clean, the staff is very helpful and the owner, Andrew, was pleasantly engaged; remembering our names and goals we were working on! He even recommended the in house chiropractor that comes to the gym to help with my sciatica :-)

So far I've been going to this gym for 3 months as a new NSB resident and pay $99 plus taxes for the 3 month mbership. The gym has just about everything you could need in terms of cardio equipment, free weights, and machines. They have a small designated room for ab/core exercises complete with mats, medicine balls, Swiss balls and bar weights. I've taken the 6pm Tuesday yoga class with Sindy that's included with membership and it's always a good time and a nice Vinyasa flow class. The weights are a little rusty and it resembles a high school gym but they do the job.

I have working out for 20+ years so I can work out anywhere, It doesn't have to be fancy. With that being said, this is the worst gym for equipment I have ever been to. NOTHING works correctly, it's old and not maintained. Everything needs oil, the cable system is a joke as are the machines. The leg extension especially. If you want a smooth workout where you don't have to fight with every bit of equipment, adjusting it or it just not working - go somewhere else. I usually feel great during/after a workout and yesterday I was just aggravated. I won't be returning there.

The Little Drug Company is a hidden gem in New Smyrna's Historical District. It's a drug store and breakfast and lunch diner in one, and the food is wonderful. The prices are hard to argue with, and they make the best milkshakes in the city. They close early, so plan on getting there before 2 PM.
