This gym really is ‘Next level’. The equipment is great for both new and advanced athletes, the community is unlike any other gym I’ve ever been to and the staff is kind and helpful! With a crazy schedule I love the 24 hour access! I’ve been to many gyms over the years and this one has always been my recommendation!

Next Level Fitness DeLand is top-tier! The gym is always spotless, from the floors to the equipment, everything looks and feels well cared for. The staff is what really makes it stand out though, every worker is friendly, professional, and genuinely cares about helping members. Great gym. Only complaint is that on peak hours during the weekends they shutdown the bathrooms for “cleaning” for sometimes hours at a time. Since they don’t supply hand sanitizer, you can’t even wash your hands before leaving. Extremely unsanitary. Not to mention you can’t even take a leak. Can this issue please be resolved by cleaning bathrooms earlier? Or later?

Difficult to get a hold of anyone when calling during staff hours and unable to leave a message due to mailbox being full. Had attempted to call multiple times due to being unable to go during work hours to fix payment issues, then they waited 5-6 months after so they can get their money for a membership that was unable to be used. I understand thats how contracts work so I paid the fee with no problems, but I will not be recommending this gym to anyone.

My entire family signed up. Business paid for it. Later the same day I was changed to 4 individuals accounts and charged even more money. Almost $300 in total. Ridiculous. Non contractual. Month to month. In 2 months time there will be an annual fee too.

When told it was illegal to arbitrary change membership and add additional fees they canceled our membership. Would you pay $265/mo for access to showers?

Judgemental gym only wanting money. Stay far away. I'd give zero stars.

2 weeks ago my membership and my son went active, they said we owed for 4 membership when 2 were due. My keycard was deactivated with 2 others leaving the person I signed up with active. No voicemail or email options. SCAM. REFUND MY MONEY TO MY BANK CARD!

This gym has everything you would need, whether you’re a casual lifter or bodybuilder. Squat racks, deadlifting platform, bench w/ safety arms. 2 massive dumbbell racks. Tons of machines, including smiths, though some are so old that the weight numbers are worn off. It’s clean, well maintained, and 24 hrs. I worked out here for a year and enjoyed it every time. Just joined today. The manager/ co-owner had me fill out the application then read and signed the rules. Then I had a good workout. Quality equipment - mostly Cybex, and clean. The people seem friendly. I would say a great place to workout.

Tiny tiny gym with too many people and a horrible gym culture. I've never seen so many cell phones on a gym floor. I used to love this place, now it is a source of stress. Equipment is also horrible.

Great gym with a local hometown feel. If you want to avoid the over populated globo-gyms, this is the spot. Very down to earth vibe. Great staff that is super friendly and has some of the best "old-school" equipment that just doesn't get seen with most modern gyms. Gym definitely tries it's best to cater to every gym demographic - crossfitters, powerlifters, gen pop, etc. Yes, you will pay more for a membership but the trade off is the lower amount of members you're fighting with for equipment usage and space.

I won't disparage any fitness center or say this is the best gym in town. Honestly, if your main concerns when evaluating a place to work out are "How many treadmills are there?" and "What color are the machines?" you probably won't like this place. But if you know what to do with a kettlebell besides swing it and know what a bumper plate is, you'll love it. And, by the way, there are treadmills (and elliptical, bikes, rowing machines, etc....even the more useful weight machines)

Great gym 3 years ago. Now in 2022 I can rewrite my review of this place. Used to be a great gym but they have been changing little by little. I wish I can say different. They lost the balance of growth and respect. The scale has tilted more to the left here. I have seen it many times over and over again, once the spirit of a business is killed for Money, it will just be another gym like the many that have fallen to the curse of more. Friendly 💰 smiles.

Made my first visit today to workout. Around 4pm in the afternoon, and there were others there, but I never had to wait on a piece of equipment (duplicates exist of many). Doing a little cardio after lifting, I was trying to think of a piece of equipment that wasn't in the gym that I would have liked to have seen. I came up dry. Two racks of dumbbells, many power racks, benches, plate loaded machines (eg Hammer Strength), kettle bells, cardio (including stair steppers, a personal favorite), sleds, you name it. Give this place a try, it has it all.

Very nice gym. As far as 24 hour gyms this is the bestvin volusia. Very spaceous and they have a nice, long area for sled work, lunges etc. They have many kettles, situp stations and of course mulriple squat stations and bench stations. Cardio had all one needs. This is not a big box gym but a privately owned , friendly gym. Having been to every gym in Vokusia i woukd rate this the top 24 hr gym and as far as variety i would rate it along side Golds and LA Fitness. One can achieve and fitness goal they ever imagined.

Decent place, but they do not properly control membership numbers. With the exception of the typical very late night hours, the place is absolutely packed; and there is no where to wait for equipment, that isn’t in the way of others.
Locker rooms are also tiny, and a lot of the aforementioned equipment is older than me. Works ok for what it is, but come-on... Feels as though they are running at about 250% capacity. Expand the location or limit membership numbers, because the experience is subpar half the time. I would most likely not use this location, if it wasn’t covered, at no cost, by my healthcare plan.

If you cant get a good workout here then something is wrong with you. Ive been coming here for 2 years and ive only had a handful of instances where i couldnt get on a machine i needed. Trust me, I have 4 gym memberships and this is the best one around!!

I have been using this gym for a few years now, for the most part it has been good BUT the quality in the atmosphere has dropped over the last year.

They use to allow a free guest during staffed hours. When I originally signed up, they agreed that due to my work schedule, they would waive me to bring my guest during non staffed hours.

I have never had an issue until last night the owner rudly stopped me and said no guest after 7 and to pay 5 dollars a guest?! He is usely pretty decent but came off as a "business man" shaking members for extra cash.

I have went out of my way to stay loyal to this locally owned gym (even through ridiculous prices for a mediocre gym) and a move that put me 30 minutes away.

Instead of coughing up the $30 extra a month for a membership for my wife, I will be promptly canceling my membership and using a closer, less expensive, better quality gym that allows free spousal guest.
