This is an amazing way to build strength and endurance and overall health that minimizes the risk of injury through slow, intense weight movement using high end machines. David is my trainer. He is fantastic. He charts my progress in great detail, and every week for the last 30 weeks my strength and endurance have improved. One of the things I like most about it is that it isn't one of those big, crowded gyms. It is calm, supportive and clean. Here's the most interesting aspect: the workout is only 30 minutes, once per week. Everyone I tell about this doubts the effectiveness of this, but believe me, it works. I am proof of it!

I began training with Jerry a few months ago to strengthen my body, help avoid injuries and to help my game a bit in martial arts. This type of workout makes you stronger than your average gym workouts by far, as it targets all the muscle fibers and series of muscles simultaneously. You don't need to work out for hours at a time - under 30 mins once or twice a week will do it! Jerry customized a workout regimen just for my needs. I've received compliments from other fighters on my level of strength. It's not just big "empty" muscle that is building, but strength that can be used practically in life. I have also received many compliments from family and friends, as my clothes fit & look better on me. I admit, that I do feel much stronger. This is only after a few months with Jerry! One body Personal Training is my secret weapon!!

I've been training with David for 18 months, and I never thought I would have gone this long on my own. I had motivation to exercise, but not the accountability to complete the routines through to the end. After suffering from unexplained muscle tissue pains in the chest, I sought a personal trainer to help me target and strengthen the muscles, hopefully mitigating the pain. One weight workout a week coupled with some of my own cardio has made an amazing improvement in my overall well being as a result. I have been working with David bartolotti for 6 months now, he is extremely knowledgeable about what training program would work for me. I hadn’t worked out in years and was pretty skeptical about seeing results in only 30 minutes once a week? I can honestly say my buttocks have never look so good lol. Of course he explained a healthy diet would have to be incorporated in the process as well. I was diagnosed with osteoporosis 2 years ago and was told by my doctor that my only options were to go on meds (with possibly terrible side effects) or get worse. I decided instead to revamp my diet with a nutritionist, who also advised me to find a personal trainer who is knowledgeable about dealing with this issue. Through my research, I found One Body Personal Training on Facebook with reviews from people who have the same condition. Best decision I've made health-wise in a very long time! Since last December, David has worked with me to build up my strength, and I've made a great deal of steady progress. I have much more energy and feel stronger every week. He has also helped me deal with my lower back pain. The gym is very clean, and the machines are all well maintained. I highly recommend David and One Body Personal Training; you will not regret choosing them!

I had serious lower back issues and contacted One Body. Dave immediately returned my call and we discussed my injuries. I signed up for 16 sessions and it’s changed my life. I’ve canceled my third spinal surgery and have incredible relief over the past three months. He’s extremely focused on the 1:1 training and he’s all about the science and process. Follow his instructions and you will see incredible results. I went from a pain level of 7-10 (all day) to 0-3 in just three months. I’m a real patient and a real believer in Dave. I have been going to One Body for the past 9 months training with Gerry Persaud, and I couldn’t be happier with my results! I initially went there to rehab my left shoulder after suffering an injury. Gerry started me out slowly and has gradually increased the intensity as I grew stronger. I’m so happy to report that I barely have issues with my shoulder anymore. But more than that, Gerry has worked with me to strengthen my whole body. I have lost weight and toned up. It feels so good to be without pain and to get back into shape! There’s something for every fitness level and age here and I am very pleased to recommend Gerry as your trainer! In addition, it is a small gym with no more than 3 others exercising when you are so you don’t have to feel uncomfortable in an overcrowded gym. Check it out!

I have never written a review, but I have to write this one. Jerry Persaud introduced me to this super slow concept of working out and it is AWESOME !!
Jerry is awesome, and the facility is awesome.
I’m not normally so dramatic, but I truly believe that Jerry saved my life. At least my quality of life, as I’m approaching 65 years of age.
I was convinced that my future was going downhill, strength wise. Jerry convinced me that it wasn’t, and he was right ! The facility atmosphere is quiet and pristine. Jerry listens, HEARS you and guides you. You’ve got to try it. You WILL be glad you called Jerry !
Also, COVID concerns are extremely minimal.
They are ON TOP OF the sanitizing and cleaning, big time !!
I never dread a workout with Jerry. No injuries with this workout, only great results. You’re gonna like it.

I stumbled upon One Body when I moved here for the summer so I decided I to try it out. After my first session I knew it was something I would like. David had a lot of knowledge to pass on and was always encouraging. It is the end of the summer and I am so happy with my results. If I was not moving back home I would continue training at One Body! In the last 15 years I have never had a trainer as helpful, motivating and supportive as Trisha at One Body! I'm at an age where my doctor expects me to be losing bone density. She was shocked recently when a bone scan showed that I had GAINED 7.2%! "How did you do that?" The answer is strength training with David for years, 20-25 mins., 1-2x a week. He is always up to date with the latest and best practices in training and nutrition by continuing his own education. He gets more from me than I ever thought possible, without injury. I can't recommend him highly enough. If this sounds too good to be true, you owe it to yourself to test my recommendation.

It's been a long time since I was happy with my body, and I was ready for a change. Sarah invited me to train with her a few weeks ago and although I don't have major results yet, I can already feel changes in my body and how I feel overall. I can't say enough great things about One Body and the training I've had with David for the past 18 months. When I came to them, my body strength was severely decreasing and I was having issues with general stamina to do even mundane things such as standing at the sink to do dishes. David is always positive about my workout progress. When I leave One Body, I feel like I've gained 3 inches in height to stand tall and ready to tackle my week.
