I attended a workshop at Open Door Yoga — The Cleanse— taught by Andrea Karahalios and couldn’t wait to begin the process, a cleanse of mind, body and soul. What I learned in the class helped me understand the steps I would need to take and even provided a shopping list! It inspired me to set aside three days and give myself a retreat from my hectic schedule. Having just finished I can say that I definitely feel that I have “reset” and am ready to take on the holiday season with more energy, inner calmness and a clear mind. Thank you, Andrea, for opening the door for me to begin my Ayurvedic practice.

I’ve had the pleasure of attending a few classes here and I have loved them all. I’ve loved all my classes with Andrea, Denise and Alex. Super excited for the recurring restorative yoga class Thursday evenings. I especially love when they have the manifestation cards that you pick at random and the tea at the end. Gives it a special touch. Only positive relaxing vibes at this yoga studio and all the instructors have been really great even with beginners. They give you modifications, blocks, cushions everything that you need to make your class a success. Looking forward to my next session! Ask about the discounted parking at the coco walk parking garage too.

Wonderful yoga studio in Miami. I was here on a visit. I was checked in and took the restorative yoga class on my first visit. The teacher was so excellent and the class was both classic and original!

Give yourself a few extra minutes to park and find it in the building area where it's located.

I attended Monday’s restorative yogas class taught by Bianca. This was my first time ever attending a yoga class and I’m very glad I gave it a shot, I truly enjoyed it. Bianca was a great instructor and explained all the movements and positions very well. I will definitely be back to try a class again!

I winter in coconut grove & am fortunate to have found open door yoga as my sanctuary during my stay the atmosphere is so inviting & calming - candlelit classes any time of the day and wonderful playlists. The teachers are phenomenal - everyone of them and I took 5 classes a week and was always enriched by each teacher style. Hot herbal tea awaits all students following class. I highly recommend this studio and will miss upon my return north next week

I recently attended an incredible "Grounding, All Levels Stretch" class, and I can't recommend it enough! This class is perfect for anyone, regardless of flexibility—there’s no need to be an expert in yoga or stretching. The instructor guided us through a series of gentle supine stretches, twists, and movements that focused on creating space and mobility in the hips, low back, shoulders, and spine.

This class really helped alleviate some muscle pain I’d been feeling, and the gentle flow left me feeling deeply relaxed. Since it was held on a Sunday afternoon, it was the perfect way to prepare my body and mind for the week ahead. I felt completely refreshed, centered, and ready to take on Monday. Highly recommend this class to anyone looking for a grounding, rejuvenating experience!

In love! This has been the best class that I have been to in a long time. I never imagined to be so relaxed. I was having a moving week and i didn’t take a minute to relax my body nor my mind, but this class really changed that and got me to be peaceful, allowed me to stretch my body and truly calm my mind. Also, until this class I hadn’t breathed with such awareness for a really long time. Thank you so much Becky, for helping, teaching and giving to me the best 60 minutes of this week.

So glad there is a true yoga studio back in the Grove after the loss of Dharma. This isn't the insta-yoga you find around Miami, but real, well-trained, good instructors who care about your progress and take the time for adjustments and to ask about your wellbeing. Natalie's Funyasa is still going strong. No better yoga out there!

I love the intimate scale of the studio, or the Stu as they say! Right at entry I felt welcomed, briefed and introduced. It was Becky’s last day in her weekly Tuesday restorative class schedule :,( I loved that she incorporated lavender oil, sounds bowls and cards at the end of practice. To top it all off we were treated to a tea sample as we left - nice opportunity to browse the shop.

Open Door is the hidden gem of yoga studios in Miami, literally tucked away in the middle of Coconut Grove. I started going there on ClassPass and soon changed to Open Door's Stu membership - one of the best deals in town, especially if you want to experience a lot of variety in one studio. If you want challenging, spicy, and sweaty, try Zoe. Bianca is so helpful with focusing on breath. Andrea will teach you from the inside out, visualizing how toxins are being cleansed. Natalie will find you where you are, and stealthily push you to hold difficult poses. Rosie will lead you spiritually and physically to places you don't think you can go. Anja's voice will mesmerize you, taking you on a glorious and technical ride, leaving you wondering where the time went. But what really keeps me coming back is the community of friends I've made there.

This studio is a gorgeous wellness haven for all yoga enthusiasts (beginner to advanced). I just love the vibe when you walk in. It's so peaceful and relaxed - beginning with the self-care shop, to the warm nature of the instructor and also the affirmation cards given at the end of class, along with the complimentary tea. I personally love Becky's Candlelight Yin class. It's just what I need on a Friday night to unwind from a long week. They also host an array of special events on the weekends that really appeal to me as someone gravitating towards the wellness space. (I've personally done the cacao ceremony and the Chakra workshop). Out of all the yoga studios in Miami, I have to say this one is truly special and unique! I can't wait to see what new events they will host this summer. :)

Open Door Yoga is a lovely serene studio, a very accepting space! It offers a variety of skilled instructors, so there are options for students at all levels of practice, and the instructors are excellent! Classes are enhanced by small touches, such as essential oils for those who like them, a great sound system, sound bowls during shavasana, soft lighting and freshly brewed mint tea offered after each class. Much thought has gone into creating this “open door, open mind, open heart” studio. It’s wonderful.

I've recently signed up for the Chakras workshop and I can't wait to learn and transform. Forever grateful for Open Door Yoga <3 The studio aesthetic gives off a cozy welcoming vibe. I also love how they don't have mirrors in the actual studio, it really helps to go inwards.

There are so many positive things I can say about this studio. I found this space during a time in my life where I was suffering through grief snd depression. I wanted to find something to keep me physically active but I did not want losing weight to be my main goal. I remember the studio felt welcoming and calming when I found it. The first thing I noticed was that there were NO MIRRORS, which I really loved. I use to hate going to classes and comparing myself to others or looking at myself too much. Having no mirrors helped me focus on other things, like figuring out how to do poses based on feeling my body and not looking at it, I learned breath work and I learned to have patience with myself. The teachers are all amazing and each bring something different to the table. They have taught me so much about myself and have encouraged me every step of the way. Exercise shows your brain that your body and you are capable of change, staying consistent at this studio made me feel like I could do/accomplish anything. I even participated and was one of the winners of a 29 yoga day challenge competition hosted by the studio. Lastly, I have built a wonderful community of friends here. They have become a great support system and on hard days I know I can end on a high note with class and the support of my community.

Open Door Yoga is a cute boutique studio located in the middle of coconut grove. The classes range from intense/fast-paced yoga to slow stretching/meditating yoga. All the instructors are knowledgeable and so nice! I started going almost a year ago with zero yoga experience and not in the best shape, but I can easily see how much I have improved! Whether you are a newbie or an experienced yogi, you will find Open Door Yoga to be a great studio and such a kind community.

I love Open Door Yoga. This studio feels like home. Everyone is so kind, friendly, attentive, and professional. There's always amazing workshops and events going on and a wide variety of classes - my favorite is yoga strong! Plus, there are no mirrors while you practice, giving you an opportunity to really turn your awareness inward and tune into what you feel rather than what you see.

Absolutely recommend this studio if you haven't tried them out.
