My toddler’s been attending classes for about a year now. He started off in the parent and tot class and now he’s in the preschool one. Coach KC is the one that recognized that he is ready for preschool class. We enrolled my son in her class and she has been AMAZING. He will not do class with another coach. She is extremely patient with these preschool kiddos and really cares that they learn.

Coach Manar is wonderful -- She takes the time to meet each student where they are, and is intentional to stop them and gently redirect them when form is not correct so that they can really build on their skills and advance. She is also so kind and sweet -- my super shy daughter who was struggling with the confidence to be in a group setting class has really blossomed under her coaching!

I absolutely love this gymnastics school! The coaches are incredibly dedicated and very patient, and everything is always well-organized. The front desk staff is super friendly and welcoming. I also love the little details—sometimes you arrive feeling a bit tired, and they offer coffee to the parents and guests. Such a thoughtful touch!

When I signed my daughter up the young lady made it sound super simple and was told the monthly payment +a prorated rate because she started in the middle of the month but when I came to cancel the membership the lady that helped me had a sales pitch for everything I thru at her. I'm in sales and damm good at it thanks god so I knew she was dancing around the question and giving me the long winded answer. Had the nerve to try to reverse her coworkers misleading tactics on me like it's my fault by saying : so you didn't know what you was paying for and next time you should read or know what you paying for with a stern voice and fake business women kind of attitude lol. The place is run down and smell all the time. It's a 1 star because of the misleading info and sled tactics used by them.

This has been a good fit for my daughter. She was a competitive gymnast for 12 years. Lots of coaches who all care. Good facility. The prices are very reasonable for the sport.
UPDATE: my daughter now coaches here. So, I can say that the after school and rec programs are very good. The coaches do a lot to try and make it a positive experience and grow the kids skills.

I want to register my indignation with this school, when I enrolled my child I had to pay a deposit of the monthly fee, and was told that if she no longer attended classes this amount would be refunded to my account, I gave them 30 days notice before canceling the enrollment, and now they simply told me that the down payment amount would not be refunded. BE CAREFUL WITH THIS, THEY ARE BLATANTLY DECEIVING US. I REPUDIATE THIS TYPE OF SITUATION.

I do not recommend it. My daughter's water bottle and Crocs were stolen during practice. The manager treats parents with a bad attitude, especially if you are Hispanic. She says it's not her problem that my daughter's things are stolen twice in the same year from Orlando gymnastics. The manager and the receptionist insulted me for the comment I posted on Google, even closing the door in my face for not recognizing her mistake. I hope they give me my money back. Otherwise I'll go to the police.

Last week we were in Orlando for work and went to Orlando Gymnastics to check if our daughter could join a practice for a coming competition. They were wonderful accommodating our one-time need. My daughters have been attending Orlando Gymnastics for about a year now. Our time here has been nothing short of amazing. The staff is knowledgeable, approachable, and pleasant. The first few months my daughter was there I agree that the staff was rude and indifferent at the front desk. Very unapproachable and very confrontational! But they have gotten better, however.

I also have not seen that much improvement in my daughters skills from when we started.

Today I was shocked to see how coaches play favoritism with the kids. It’s all about who they think is cute. (Shocker all the cute ones looked a certain way) I will leave it there.

My daughters first Super Star competition very organized and on time… however, I was so heartbroken to see how coaches cheered the same kids over and over and treated others as outsiders (again indifferent) These were the same coaches in charge of scoring…I witnessed unfair scoring as well…(Coach Chad) multiple parents felt the same. I noticed this behavior from coaches during normal classes as well. This unprofessional behavior can be crippling to athletes. I will be removing my daughter as well putting in my 45 days notice so I don’t loose my deposit. Tis tis

They have a monopoly and they abuse it, we did not had a single gynastic facility near us and were driving 40 min for this. My kid went there for about 1.5 years and I never left a review during that time for obvious reasons.

They use to have a make up policy and they never had classes available for make up. You could never get a straight answer from the staff. This year their solution was to increase fees and get away with make up classes. Life happens and people miss classes and makes ups are necessary.

Every gymastic my kid went to, the staff showed empathy and were cooperative but not here. The front desk staff can be rude and need some serious training.

Coaches were always changing and only one progress report was given in 1.5 year. I do not think my daughter improved at all at this facility.

They do not understand what feedback is either, my wife was asked for feedback during withdrawl and instead of listening to her she was challenged by the director on the feedback. It was apparent that director was the reason for bad Customer service in this organization.

We went to Orlando gymnastics for over a year because they were the closest and only one at a reasonable distance. Our daughter hasn’t progressed much as she did in other gymnastics. They also removed make up classes and increased the tuition. The coaches were changed pretty frequently and our daughter’s favorite coaches got assigned to other classes. Their schedules are not flexible, if you have to change the timing, you have to wait months. The staff is rude and unprofessional. Rather than listening to the feedback or concern, they try to argue. Please stay away from them if you can. Join Orlando Metro Gymnastics instead because they are flexible and reasonable.

This review is for my experience with Orlando Gymnastics' Adult Fitness programs.

I can't recommend the Adult Fitness classes or "Flip and Fit" enough. Don't worry if you have never done any gymnastics before or out of shape or just feel awkward in a gym. I personally started about 9 months ago and love all the classes I have attended. Some have written this but the average class included about 10-15 minutes of stretching following by some tumbling exercises and then some rotations on different styles of gymnastics depending on the day of the week. There is NO judgment on anyone's abilities and all of the coaches who work with the adult classes are super kind and amazing. I will say that I have a desk job and even the stretches they teach are amazing for someone who has to sit at a desk all day long and this beats any class you can find at a chain gym.

I have also gotten some one on one coaching for certain events (after all who does not want to live out those Olympic dreams) and can't recommend all the coaches and staff as they are super helpful and so knowledgeable about gymnastics!

My son started a year an a half ago in this place. He used to go 2 times a week to the small kids class, but he was not advancing as the coaches do not have control of the group, they have too many kids for one instructor especially for small children so we opted for one day a week as my son is very agile and loves gymnastic.

I have had several bad experiences with the staff as they do not like to be asked anything and even though they are at the front desk and they are supposed to be skilled in customer service they do not even greet you when you enter and they give you a bad look if you approach them.

I have decided to take him out of here and place him in West Orlando Gymnastics where they care for the kids and parents, have a structure, organized and professional setting and donnot mind if you ask them a qiestion or make an observation regarding a specific class. My son is in the all boys class, last week, coach Isaias that normally teaches the class (which is really good) was absent and the class was a mess, the coach that was there was only paying attention to 3 out of 8 kids, the other 5 were doing excersies without supervision and could get hurt. When I said something at the front desk, their answer was "he is only one and he is doing what he can". Really? well if you acknowledge that he can't teach 8 kids, he should have an assistant or not be teaching that class at all.

As parents we take kids to this type of sports so they have fun but also for them learn about the form and practice of the sport and they exercise. I emailed the manager and she was not happy with my email and only said she would spealk with the coach. In 1.5 YEARS I have not seen they prepare students for competition or that they focus on students learning and improvement at all, they do not apprach parents nor communciate about students progress. They just have a good and big location and only care about charging. Ahh and they steal your money, they charge you for a last month even if you don't use it. I gave notice of my sons' withdrawal on Otcober 16, and because it was a day later of what they have as a set day, they want to charge the last month. As I told the manager, if I wanted my child to run around I take him to the park, if I pay for a class I expect the coach actually teaches something. I have spoke with 3 other parents who have also withdraw their kids from this place as they were not. learning and its a waiste of time and money.

How come as a customer I know that the spot is available for a kid. it is the responsibility of the front office to track and notify the customers on the waitlist. When Karolyn started here her coach Toni noticed quickly what I saw for years coaching her in our front yard. The passion and drive for her dreams. Within the gym all you see is team work to make the dream work. The guidance and passion the coaches have are amazing! Now she’s onto the team and looking forward to competitions and further growth. Worst experience ever, my daughter was bullied for a week and a half until I decided to withdraw her from the program.
She was registered for 5 weeks and went for a week and a half, coaches are not refunding any money and I had to pay additionally for another summer camp because I need to work.

This was terrible! The last thing that happened is that she was not feeling well and no one called me to tell me anything, if it wasnt because I went to see her in her gymnastics class and I found her with a sad face and all rolled up in a corner I wouldnt have known, and when i asked, the coach said that she said she was not feeling well but then “she was ok”. I expected a call in this situation.

Also, i realized coaches rotate between groups so no one is really responsible for a group… and this I did not like because there’s no continuation on anything, especially for 5 year olds (maybe im just very protective of my daughter…. But HEY! SHE’S MY DAUGHTER OK?).

Last but not least, everyday I picked her up she cried and told me a list of things that happened during the day, I kept trying and took her for a few more days until I realized I was just making her feel terrible while she was there.

Some things need to change!! And coaches really need to be aware of whats happening!

I don't have time to talk about the same thing I sent on a very detailed email about 7 paragraphs long.
"Part-time coaches" are clearly not doing their job, and this way of working only lets to nobody taking responsibility of things (just something to think about).
By the way, just sent 2 videos showing some of my concerns and another email explaining each one of them... according to your response, you take these issues seriously and would like to talk to me to get more details.... are you telling me that parents need to point out obvious things? seriously? you expect us to go and supervise your coaches and tell everything in detail? I think this place definitely needs more management skills. Your coaches are working with kids.
I just thank myself that I have a flexible schedule and I was able to go see what she went through, most parents cannot do that.

Also, the "illness protocol" is a joke. So, if she says she doesn't feel good throughout the day she is only asked to sit for 10 mins? so, according to my conversation with coach N.... she said she was not feeling well twice, and even took her to the restroom... was she asked to sit down for 10 mins twice during the day? at what point do you contact parents?

To finish this... you may be experts in gymnastics, and maybe taking a kid for 30-45mins classes once or twice a week is no big issue, but if you offer a "full-time summer camp" we as parents expect something else than just "part-time" rotating coaches and people actually looking after our kids.

Thank you, Orlando Gymnastics! We were visiting from out of state for spring break which also meant our son would miss several practices at our home gym before his Regionals meet in Texas. I called Orlando Gymnastics and explained our predicament, and they were able to arrange some time with Coach Isaiah so he could get some warm up/practice and fine tuning in before we flew from Florida to Texas! Our son really appreciated his training time with Coach Isaiah, I enjoyed visiting with the staff at the front desk and watching him practice, and Declan had a very exciting and successful meet!

Went tonight for the flip and fit adult class. I am exhausted but in a great way. I loved how welcome I felt. Then in a group setting, I still had that one on one teaching to make sure I was doing things the correct way. They demonstrated well and made sure you knew what to do. I felt that they accompanied all levels from beginner to more advanced well too. I felt embarrassed at times wondering why I am trying this, but everyone there made me feel comfortable and it was uplifting. It was a positive first class and looking forward to taking more down the road.

I have 1 star because the owners of this place dont care for the customer, all the care is for the money. My daughter had missed 1 of her last class and they said she couldn't make up the class and that was it. If your kid misses more than 1 class a month, you will lose 1, this they said is in the policy. I bought this training with a lot of sacrifice in my part because I love this discipline. While is amazing for the kids strength is sad to know that not bringing your kid when is sick equals losing your money for the that class. So you see other kids coughing and getting the rest of the other kids at risk of getting sick as well. I decided not to bring my daughter when she was sick because it was bad and resulted in not been able to make up foe this class. I experience a lack of loyalty to their customer when you are at the end of your contract. They are not interested on having a customer coming back in another time after they had to cancel membership for life changing events, wich is what happened in my case. Of course I wanted to bring my daughter back in the future, but after this experience, I wont. If I receive a chance to make up that last class we missed, this review will be change to a more positive, because that means it was a customer service misunderstanding, if you are reading this year after year, then you know, thg hay dont even look or care for their reviews and a good customer service satisfaction. My daughter joined the Xcel program here and to say I am VERY amazed and impressed is an understatement. This is our third gym, and I really think we've finally found a home! My daughter's skills have improved in the 2 months she's been here - little things that no one took the time to work on elsewhere. The staff legitimately cares, they're incredibly organized, and I don't see ANY coach playing favorites! No por el hecho de estar en un programa despues de escuela quiere decir que solo quiero que la cuiden mi interes era que aprediera la gymnasia . Y eso no ocurrio en 1 año.

This is the second time that i have a nightmare dealing with Olando Gymnastics. One of my daughter was in the team, there is no last month deposit for team member according to their policy, however, when I withdrew my daughters I confirmed it with the front desk and the manager caitlen, she even said that since my daughter is not going to compete, there is no point to stay one month more. I confirmed with caitlen that on February 11 would be my daughters last day in this company. However, my credit card was charged the full amount for their March session. I called them, she said they charge her for March even she wasn't here, and she didn't say that Feb 11 was her last day, that's why they need to charge for March. if you have any other place to go, don't go there, All they care is about money!

This is an excellent place for gymnastics, the coaches are very professional, they care about every kids needs, the clases are well structured and fun, my kids love it, the complex is beautiful and it has everything they need for the practice from the beginners to advanced. They even have adult classes, I'm planning to join them too.

My 5 year old daughter has been coming here for open gym, classes and camps for nearly 2 years and she loves it and so do we. The staff is wonderful. They are obviously excellently trained and caring. Seeing my daughter improve physically and mentally with the coaches and staff is beautiful. Definitely recommend to parents of aspiring gymnasts or those looking for just a fun time/hobby for their kids. Cannot speak highly enough!

My daughters have been attending Orlando gymnastics for 5 years and moving all around the country as a military family, without a doubt Orlando Gymnastics has exceeded our expectations and we have joined such a wonderful gymnastics family. Orlando Gymnastics Adult Flip and Fit is one of the best fitness classes I have ever taken in my life! Coach Chad and Ricky make every class fun and challenging for everyone from beginners to advanced students. I’m more on the ‘beginner’ side of things so I was nervous to start but they explain the moves so well and take the time to break things down for whoever needs it! There aren’t many classes specifically for adults in sports/activities that are usually started at a young age (gymnastics, ballet, etc) so I’m really grateful for the opportunity to show up and learn more from them!! Thank you so much to Chad, Ricky, Kevin and more for taking the time to run this program!! And thank you to the desk staff for being so great and for being there until class ends!

The school is actually mostly a day care with few teachers that are responsible enough to have an adult conversation about the children. It feels like babies watching babies.

In regards to the general atmosphere, the staff is untrained and are ill equipped to handle check out without looking completely overwhelmed. A few times I was able to take my child from the school without even checking her out on the tablet that always seems inaccessible because of a password lock.

The front staff can hardly muster a good morning, even though they gladly charged you an exorbitant fee for summer camp.

Recently, due to an extremely sensitive family emergency, i was forced to remove my daughter from the last week of summer camp. When i called to ask if there was anyway to cancel the last week's charge because of the emergency, i was told... that i needed to give 2weeks notice for a cancellation. When i explained the emergency, and how being charged was almost unfair considering the expense to get to Puerto Rico where my father in law is in the hospital. Without a sense of empathy, Mrs.Duffy coldly tells me. She needs to see evidence of my father in law being in a hospital, "because people tend to lie".

At this moment, where my wife and daughter are tending to their family needs, I was asked to produce proof of my father in laws grave state. Sickening how a charge off, should create a situation where we had to provide a letter, while my father in law is in the ICU trying to wake up from a major heart attack.

In the end, I was given a fictitious name of the owner "Jay Purvis" and told that contacting him is not possible because he doesn't deal with the "everyday issues" at the school. I emailed her a copy of my father in laws paper work.... waiting on a response.

Utterly disappointing, and completely distasteful.

YOUR CHILD IS NOTHING BUT A DOLLAR SIGN TO THE OWNER, AND THE MANAGEMENT ONLY CARES ABOUT MONEY.

My son has attended several open gym nights at this facility. This last week, he was supposed to attend but unfortunately he became ill and was too weak to go. I called the facility to let them know ahead of time and to request that the money that we had paid be credited for a future class and was told to call back on Monday as the Director was not onsite. I called back on Monday, spoke to Katie and was told this was not possible. My son looks forward to this and had he not become ill- he would've been there. I was not asking for a refund- just that the money be credited for a future class. Seems unreasonable and not customer friendly that they could not honor this request.

Orlando Gymnastics is a high-quality facility with a family oriented environment. My daughter has attended classes and has been a part of the team program for just over a year and has grown leaps and bounds in her gymnastics skills. She is always excited to go to the gym and NEVER wants to leave. The program is well-run and the coaches and staff are caring, professional, and down to earth. I have seen how the coaches work with each athlete to bring out the best of their potential. They have taught my daughter how to work hard and reap the results of doing your best. Orlando Gymnastics has the best adult program I've ever experienced. The founder (Coach Chad) has done an amazing job of putting together a program that allows not only elite but also beginners to learn the sport and advance very quickly. The gym is clean, well organized, and has plenty of equipment. Also, the coaches and staff are perfessional, incredibly helpful, and a lot of fun to work with.

My daughter has been going to OGA for 4 years now...She started in pre-school classes and has had numerous different coaches. ALL of which have been very accommodating with but at the same time disciplined and regimented. She is now 6 and is on their competition team. The direction and level of instruction is amazing. Their coaches are truly dedicated and do indeed care about their girls. All of these reviews about OGA being a "cash grab" couldn't be further from the truth. YES, gymnastics isn't cheap however neither is dance or any other sport for that matter. Difference here is that they truly care about the progression of your child and put in the time and energy to make them succeed as long as your child is willing to put in the work (which if they are on competition level they should be). My child has learned what a work ethic (among many more qualities) is through OGA and has come leaps and bounds since starting! Couldn't be happier with them all.

Very bad service and communication between the staff of the office and the clients who do not speak English. In Spanish they tell me and then someone calls me in English telling me the opposite of what I request and I simply do not care and I charge for a service I never use.

They charge me the monthly fee. even when you tell them 2 months before. My wife comunicate then on april 15th that we are out for vacations on june and july. I should have the month deposit when we came back, that's what they first said now someone call said that they collected any way because somebody error i have to pay with out use $$360 . The adult "Flip & Fit" classes at Orlando Gymnastics are AWESOME!

Each class is super fun & provides a great workout. The instructors are very knowledgeable - they typically provide different variations of each exercise, making sure to meet the needs & skill levels of all participants. They’re more than happy to help if you need a spot when trying something new; and they also can give you a quick breakdown or demonstration if you are having any difficulties with the current skill.

Classes usually follow the format of: Warm-Up → Stretch → Skill-Work → Conditioning. The instructors rotate different skills & exercises so that each class is different than the last, while also staying on a track that promotes consistent progress.

I’ve been going for a few weeks, and so far we’ve worked on: handstands, cartwheels, dive rolls, flips, pull-ups & muscle-ups, hanging leg raises, levers, and a bunch of other skills/exercises. The curriculum includes all of the primary gymnastic events (floor, rings, pommel horse, vault, parallel bars, & horizontal bar).

Definitely sign up if you’re interested in getting in some great workouts, learning some new movement skills, and having FUN while doing it!

As far as birthday party festivities this place is terrible, they hover over you the whole time and they are basically a count clock reminding you every 5 minutes how much time you have left, they only give you 45 minutes of supervised play time with no activities the other 45 mins. I would not recommend this place to anyone. There's one in St.Cloud that's way better, they allow the children the freedom to play as they wish and they also have a bounce house inside.

Awful facility. Used mainly as a day care with no legitimate gymnastics instruction. Most of the "trained staff" are high school students with limited prior experience. I witnessed several students put in dangerous situations. I would suggest going anywhere but here.

My son (8) and daughter (6) participated in their program for 14 months. They enjoyed it and I was amazed at the skill development. While I don't consider myself a gymnastics expert, I felt like this was a quality gymnastics program with great coaches. I withdrew my kids only because of the drive. I hope to find a program closer to home; I just hope the quality is as good.
