My son got intoxicated from drinking cherry artificially flavored juice today. He developed a high fever and threw up.
Why are you giving such crap to the kids??? It's unacceptable... you should feed our children only organic products.

Chapeau bas 🎩 for this amazing place!
And the lovely staff 💯 from Front desk Vivi and all the helpful young ladies to the great caring coaches ,my daughter so far is having a such wonderful entertaining time during summer camp especially she had a previous experience at reflex gymnastics since she was 2 yo and we had to stop by 3 years old for few reasons now with metro baldwin park she s back loving gymnastics and enjoying the field trips they have : chocolate museum , skating , monkey joes , bowling , glow in dark golf which is her love as she plays golf as hobby ⛳️
And we recommended this place to our neighbors and school friends and no regrets they did love it too 🤩
All i can add is : keep the great work going Team 👏🏻

My daughter was assaulted by a little boy, her age on the first day of summer camp at this place. Way too many kids and not enough actual adults supervising. The manager did handle it ok however, that never should’ve happened! In the and the owners still would not let me see the video.

I called to pay for my foster child to attend their summer camp, bc I had anlready emailed the registration packet to them, and they said they don't take foster children. 🥲 that's so sad. What happened to wanting to make a difference in the community? Not every child will be polished and perfect. There are some children that need help, love and support to grow into productive citizens in society. Avoiding them won't help this national crisis. Furthermore, at least help the foster parents who ARE trying to make a difference by accepting them so we can go to work over the summer 😭

The parent night out start at 7. Why the workers stay inside and turn the light off and wait till it is 0703 to open the door.
Long line of people waiting outside and I was not able to drop my kids till 0710.

I had to go movie theater to watch a movie and I missed the first 10 minutes.

I will change my review if they fix this issue and door opens few minutes earlier to avoid delays and waiting in line.

Addendum :
I like to respond the owner comment. I am pre registered and all the needed consents were already done.

The owner response did not include any apology and I change my review from two to one star.

We signed up the after-school program for my son at the Metro Gymnastics and are very happy with their service. The staff are always very responsive and friendly. My son enjoyed his after-school hours staying there. They also offer a 50-min class for free each week for kids who participate in after-school program which is wonderful! I would recommend it to any of my friends who need after-school programs. Thank you, Metro Gymnastics!

I'm not saying this place is bad but I was a kid who used to go to after school in 5th-6th first if you're going to bring your child here for after school expect them calling you for a "Snack card" you have to either pay for food or bring food for your child which is kind of dumb also except your kid to come back with long term ear damage cause there is never a time when a kid is not screaming and even worse the room echoes also the vans seem fine but I watched a kid get her tooth punched out on the van also everytime someone steals someone's stuff (Usually money) Coach Vivi will sit every kid down in the gym and would do a little speech about being bad and stuff and would keep the whole after school kids sitting till someone would fess up and it was hella annoying. To sum it all up you would be better off having your kid go somewhere else that isn't here.

Here are some photos of the place

First there is no pool should remove the pictures confusing.. Summer Camp… my second year with now 6 and 11 year old boys. Great for the 6 year old bit boring last year for older boy. So he won’t be going much. Staff have been great when I mentioned the older boy was bored they worked to engage him. The 6 year old is well… hyperactive doesn’t describe it. They are great with him happy to see some of the same staff there this year. Is it a gym camp no it is not but then I am ok with that…

Came here on a Monday evening to inquire about classes. Now I understand all the negative reviews. Not to mention there are no classes available after 430pm during the week and there is a wait list for a single Saturday class. So when do working families bring their kids? As for the response below from the supposed owner, this is actually not true. For starters, I was told there was no owner or manager on duty until Wednesday. So funny how now within an hour of posting my review, the supposed owner answers. And answers without proper information. The 4 young kids running your front desk were no help. You may want to have staff willing to help rather than be rude and smirk because they don't feel like answering questions. The only option give to me was a waitlist for the Saturday class. And this was after I asked what are my options. It was pulling teeth to get one of these kids to actually be more welcoming and answer questions about the classes. They were too busy chatting each other up to bother with a customer at the window inquiring about steps to sign up for a class. I was not given the option to get on a waitlist for multiple classes. Get your facts straight if you want to reply. Or better yet, start with being more professional in your replies. When you have young kids running your business and telling people no managers are available for days, that's a problem. Again, no need to wonder why so many negative reviews and only a 3 star overall rating.

My daughter (3-4) attends weekly classes. At first, she wandered and didn't follow the rules so I considered pulling her from the classes. But after a month (4 classes) she finally started understanding how classes worked and started truly participating. She's been learning a lot and has made great improvements! We also held a birthday party at the gym and the kids LOVED it. The two women who were helping with the party were VERY helpful and sweet. It's always a bonus that Gator's and a lake are across the street.

Just called to ask a few questions regarding the gym, I told the lady that my son has Asperger's and the very smart lady said, they then don't accept kids with Asperger's!! What is this?? What type of people this gym hires to answer the calls?? Asperger kids are normal regular kids that can anything other kids do!! They may need a few extra pointers and patience...really people Educate your staff!!

Sorry for wonky grammar; trying to stay under character limits.

1st review is about the joint birthday party we hosted for my daughter & niece.

The 1 staff member, Leah, who showed told us the other person who was supposed to be there, no showed. The party was for fifteen 2-4 yr & ONLY 1 STAFF SHOWED (was supposed to be @ least 2).
Couldn’t start set up until 5 mins before & since Leah was solo, had to lock 1 building every time we had to go to the other (was supposed to be setup out front, but Leah couldn’t move the tables & chairs alone prior to the start).

The first line of the RULES & REGS says PARENTS AREN’T ALLOWED ON THE GYM FLOOR. Leah asked for parents on to the floor to help, & what was to be a “safe, instructor-led” Bday was total mayhem. Adults weren’t prepared to get on the gym floor & were wearing clothes that aren’t to be on the floor, but b/c Leah asked for help, we did.

THERE WERE A COUPLE OF INJURIES INCLUDING MY NIECE (bday girl) WHO BROKE HER WRIST B/C THE PARTY WASN’T PROPERLY STAFFED AND LED BY PPL TRAINED TO SAFELY DO THESE EVENTS.

We received an email asking for feedback w/owner’s sig, so we replied w/the safety concerns & finally got a response 3 days later from DAWN GAY, the GM. Previous experience I knew Dawn is not easy to deal with; EXTREMELY RUDE & NASTY, so I let my SIL take lead on this round.
Said she was sorry for the disorganized party & they would meet w/ the party coach to better future parties, & that the owner gave her permission to credit us $60.
We asked to speak to Jeff Wood, owner, directly since he is the decision-maker, & Dawn curtly replied that he had all of our previous communications & was sticking to his earlier decision of $60.
WE DONT CARE ABOUT THE MONEY. It’s the safety of the kids. I hope no one else risks their kid’s safety to do anything with ORLANDO METRO GYMNASTICS & LITTLE NEMO’S SWIM SCHOOL IN BALDWIN PARK.

OWNERSHIP SHOULD BE EMBARRASSED BY THE WAY THEIR MANAGEMENT HANDLES CUSTOMERS & SAFETY OF CHILDREN.

Review on Little Nemo’s with OMGymnastic

We enrolled our daughter almost a year ago & until a month ago, loved it. She was making huge strides with this life saving skill.

The school called to cancel my her lesson and offered a couple of makeup times that didn’t work for our schedule (Tuesday at 2:30 and a Thursday at 2:45pm. We work and she’s in school). So when I asked what their policy was as far as if they’d credit classes if we couldn’t make the make up times offered, I was transferred to the General Manager, Dawn Gay.

DAWN WAS EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL AND BULLYING. She is possibly the rudest person I’ve had to talk to and I talk to some rude people daily.
I asked my question to Dawn and before I could finish she cut me off and began talk over me. I reformatted my question thinking maybe she was misunderstanding something and she barked back, “What do you want me to do? We wouldn’t have this problem if the coach didn’t call out!”
*Later found out coach had a family emergency*

I was over her attitude so I handed the phone to my husband.

She was super polite to him and said, “I tried to help your wife, but she didn’t want to listen.” My husband responded, “Dawn, you were on speaker; I heard everything. You were less than helpful.”

Ultimately, we got a more suitable time for a makeup class.

Fast forward to 3 weeks ago, the Coach apparently had enough of the way this place and left. (Kudos to him). I asked for the certification of the two new instructors (who my toddler doesn’t want to get in the pool with) I was told “it’s coming.”

For 2 weeks kids were expected to get in a pool with “instructors” that are not certified. Last week they posted the certification for 1 of the 2. We were not allowed to get out of the 30 day notice to not have to pay a full month and when I said we would only allow my daughter to swim with someone certified I was told “we will see what we can do...”

Again, owners and management should be embarrassed.

Staff is not qualified for proper swim instruction. An incident happened with my son during swim classes. He is now terrified of drowning. If you have safety concerns for your child, I would recommend finding instructors that have actual certification.

I have been trying to get in touch with the manager or owner to no avail to discuss my concerns after canceling. The manager has yet to make herself available and hides behind her staff.

My child was put in dangerous situations and made to play games he felt uncomfortable about. He didn’t feel cared for and supported. They use the MINIMUM amount of teachers that they can and the teachers are overwhelmed by the amount of students they are caring for. The director of the program is totally unavailable and the teachers are not qualified to handle any situations. In one situation, a phone call to me was not made when it was absolutely required according to their policy and common sense. Do not trust these people with your child.

I usually don’t leave reviews let alone bad ones but this place is awful. I went to the open gym to use the trampoline since I am a trained gtramper. I was treated awfully and lectured every time I did a trick I was very comfortable with. For example I did a double backflip to warm up and landed on my feet but shot back. They then started to make up rules telling me I can’t do anything unless I can land it. I also tried going on the tumble track and was told that I had to wait five minutes to go on, so five minutes later I went on and got kicked out. I then tried to leave but was told that I can’t and would have to stay till a parent arrived. I’m 15 years old and arrived by myself and was still told I could not leave which I’m pretty sure is not allowed. I also noticed that this place and equipment was very unsafe. The trampoline was extremely stiff which is very hard on the knees and if you land wrong it can end very bad since there is no give on the tramp. Whatever you do do not go here at all

I enrolled my daughter back when they were still @ the Waterford lakes location. At that location I paid for services that were not really being delivered. For one my daughter was on gym stars in which I paid $160 a month for. They were always under staffed for a large group of girls half of the time there was not a coach around as they were supposed to have 2 coaches. Also the equipment & space was limited & even though I was paying $160 a month the travel team was given seniority over everything. So I was paying all this money for them to just have them exercise and sit around. When they relocated to the Avalon location the space & equipment situation was no longer an issue & things seemed to be a bit better. However they switched things around & they assigned this woman who goes by the name of Coach Angie. Let me tell you that this was the start of the end for me & my girls. The 1st strike was when I enrolled my 3 year old daughter to the 5:30 toddler class on Wednesday. On my daughter's 1st day they assigned Coach Angie. This woman had a total of 3 children in which she could not handle. My daughter was left unattended while she focused more on the 2 other children and left mine running around. Then she put my daughter on the bars for the very 1st x w/out explaining the steps to my daughter and then proceeded to leave her hanging on the bars unattended next to dangerous equipment with no thick mat on the side she was hanging on beneath her. I was very bothered by the whole situation. After class I had approached her & voiced my concerns. During which time she gave me little eye contact, did not acknowledge my concerns, was bothered by the fact that I addressed her & was talking to others around her to avoid the conversation all together. I addressed her again and she finally responded by saying that kids will fall & she doesn't know what else to tell me, except that if I have a problem with my daughter getting hurt she can sit her out the next class. I responded by letting her no that is not what I paid for to have my daughter be sat out. Then took my concerns to Carol who apologized on her behalf. My other daughter has a neurological disability in which I had made Coach Angie aware off. Well she felt it appropriate to tell my daughter she was annoying & to shut up. My daughter just wanted to call her attention to ask for approval on her technique. Apparently it's okay to talk to children this way, strike 2. Fast forward to now. Another kid slaps my daughter and my daughter informs the coach in which she does nothing. I was there at the practice and no one came to me to address the situation. I see the girl who slapped my daughter crying & go in to the bathroom. After she came out I asked the girl if it was true that she slapped my daughter, in which she responds to by saying yes. I immediately take both of them to the front receptionist Lilly and where Coach Janiqua was, then in front of these 2 adults I then asked what happened. The other girl admitted that my daughter was hanging on her playfully and as result caused her to trip. The other girl admitted in front of all 3 adults & my daughter that my daughter did not intend to hurt her & that it was not intentional or malicious. She lost her temper and slapped my daughter. Tell me why Coach Angie felt my daughter's feelings didn't matter @ the time that she deemed it unimportant @ unnecessary to address even w/ me the parent sitting right there & my daughters face red & the other girl crying. Apparently after talking to Carol that's the policy that they need to wait until after class. So if your daughter gets slapped don't expect for anyone to cover for even 10 minutes to console your child because they cannot just stop what they are doing that's what I was told. My daughter was told by Angie yet again to shut up. I tried to talk to her after class and she refused to talk to me! In the end they said that's the policy, they won't replace her & I was told my daughter was annoying and if I wished to drop the girls I still had to pay tuition!

HORRIBLE MANAGEMENT!!!!

we only lasted 2 months in this gym. the coaches i thought were great but they all QUIT within a month. makes u wonder why. the gym "required" an expensive uniform for practice which my daughter was only able to wear twice before all the stiching came off. I got lucky to speak to the manager MRS. DAWN GAY ( who is never there to show face or answer emails) and asked her to please help me with either a new leo or a refund to which she refused to both at first until she "did me the favor" to have manufacturer stich it back up. all this took almost 3 weeks and my daughter was told her leo wasn't arriving on time for her competition so i was responsible for finding a new leo to match the other girls!!!! yes! another leotard. i said that is not what we are doing so someone better over night me the one i paid for that broke and i need it for its main purpose COMPETITION not practice. the leo came the day before the event. thank god or else my daughter wouldve been the only girl w no leo at her first competition.

about this competition. the gym had charged me for the event way before i found out on the last class before the event that the girls were NEVER taught the routine. SO I WAS PAYING FOR JUDGES TO JUDGE MY CHILD ON WHAT SHE WAS NOT PREPARED FOR!. These are 8 yr olds who they "required" to participate and perform in front of ppl with no practice whats so ever. knowing they had no chance at winning and the possibility of embarrasement and disappointment. how did i tell my daughter she wasnt participating because she wasnt prepared. MRS. GAY REFUSE TO REFUND OR DISCOUNT THE EVENT although it was her coache's fault for not teaching the routine at least a month in advanced.

then due to summer camp and me not being able roto bring my child for 330pm class i asked to please freeze my membership a couple of months and they said i had to put in an advanced notice of 30 days (understandable) but we will still have to attend for a whole.month. IF INWAS CAPABLE OF DOING SO I WOULDN'T HAVE TRY TO FREEZE THE ACCT ON THE FIRST PLACE!. so at that moment i had enough and told the receptionist to withdraw me completely. miraculously she sent a message to MRS GAY and an instant reply from her said to just go ahead and let me withdraw. she didnt care about my concerns and she was even quicker not to care anout us takin our business elsewhere.

not even their own coaches can get a hold of management.

last thing to mention is that THEY ARE EXTREMELY EXPENSIVE. being on their team on a lower level can cost you near $4,600 not incluying parents traveling expenses.

Horrible customer service! All they care about is your money. My friend and I both signed our daughters up, filled out the paperwork and gave our credit card info. I forgot to mark one of the check boxes on the form, and when I called them back after a long weekend away, they told me I had to be put on a wait list…they gave our spot up because they couldn’t get a hold of me to check that box on the form! It totally threw off my friend’s plan as well.

My daughter got into another class, and we continued to take classes. I never knew what they were doing in class and felt totally uninformed. They close for weeks at a time over holidays, but we still had to pay for those weeks. Then, they changed my daughter’s teacher, and we had no idea! No communication to the parents about it at all! If you sit back and watch the older kid’s classes, you’ll definitely hear the kids getting yelled at by one particular coach.

And my final peeve is that they won’t let you drop the class unless you come in and fill out a form. WHY on earth in the year 2018 can they not email a form over? I wasn’t able to get to the location in time, so I got locked into paying another month. If you want to drop, you have to give 2 month's notice, so if your child doesn’t want to take the class anymore, then be prepared to still shell out $80 a month, because they don’t care at all! They told me they couldn’t email it because some emails don’t go through and then people complain when they get charged. WHAT? Emails don’t go through? Lol. Require a confirmation then. That’s such a lame excuse for poor customer service and trying to rob people.

My daughter said she didn’t want to take the class anymore, but they didn’t care at all. It completely blows my mind that they would rather get an extra 2 months of my money and then me NEVER go back again, than be accommodating and us perhaps take classes again one day when my daughter is older and ready for it.

Most of the coaches do a decent job, but there is a lack of good managment in the gym. The business side of this Gym is terrible. The rules are very strict and NOT negotiable. My kids were often misplaced in the wrong (younger) age groups over the summer. They also did VERY LITTLE gymnastics. My girls have been in dance or gym for 8 years, and Orlando Metro has been the worst company in trying to negotiate schedule changes. And forget it if your child is sick or you make a mistake booking classes. There's NO GETTING your money back. While this gym is close to WP and Baldwin families, we are going elsewhere.

Worst summer camp ever, Very misleading! They do not actually learn any gymnastics. "it is basically a day care with trampolines" said the girl behind the desk after I voiced my concerns about my daughter watching 3 movies in 1 day. The staff does not treat the summer camp as anything other than a daycare, save your money. I was lied to many times, I asked a lot of questions before signing my 2 daughters up, I don't have the money for things like this but my daughters are very passionate about gymnastics so I wanted to surprise them with something other than the YouTube videos they practice with. I even went and watched 1 day to just see that my daughter sat down most of the day and didn't learn a damn thing. Very disappointed!

Do NOT go here! A swim instructor swam away from my son during his first lesson in the pool and he went underwater. He tried following her as she swam away from him and she didn't even notice. Who leaves a 3 year old alone in the water when they know he can't swim?! I screamed at the swim instructor to get him and when she finally got to him she acted like it was no big deal that he was under water for 5-7 seconds, terrified. I'm so upset and confused at the lack of professionalism. I talked to the manager after the incident and told her to talk to the instructor and call me back to let me know what was being done and she never even called me back.
