Went on a Saturday afternoon. Instructor only speaks while seated. That really bothers me! At least she could walk around making adjustments and corrections but no. Also, meaning, if you’re a beginner this is not your place! You will be lost.
The studio was nice and spacious- it wasn’t full and became claustrophobic. Hard to breathe- not only hot but moist.
I had to stop multiple times.
They charge $17 for drop in classes- website said $15 - not a big deal but why give the wrong information
I wouldn’t come back as I like studios where instructors actually instruct instead of dictating what to do…

I like these studios but as a avid reader I enjoy getting to class early and reading yoga books as part of my practice. The staff treat ebooks the same as recording devices, which means I have to print or bring physical books. Real bummer. Also, they have that weird Bikram yoga cult vibe which is uncool. I general a great studio if you can live with the announces.

Excellent teachers. I don’t mind music with lyrics, just not during yoga which you are bound to hear every class unless you go to the bikram class. Another issue is that in my month of being there it smelled a little musty. Still I would go back for sure. Give this place a try.

Not a bad class for yoga, its a good price too. I just wish she didnt touch me during it and rub that burning stuff on my back, it startled me and made me a uncomfortable. If prefer not to be touched at all but a warning at least would be nice

I was never a big fan of yoga before I tried this place out, but my friends had been saying wonderful things about how much it had been helping them so I tried it out. That was probably about 2 months ago, and ever since I cannot WAIT to go to hot yoga every week. It's one of my favorite parts of my week, and when I can't go one week I feel so anxious to get back immediately. All of the instructors are a gem, and I'm very grateful to share time with everybody here each week 🤍

It was very annoying that I liked the class but They have no yoga etiquete; Not good For people that wants to go meditate a bit before class and offer their practice since they won’t stop chatting like it’s “social hour” and not for beginners either since the instructor is not practicing along with the class.

Edit: however, it’s the best hot yoga I’ve found in Orlando so far. I guess is the way it goes in here, every studio has been “chatty” none beside this one is really hot flow!

Edit 2: I understand Orlando it’s a diferente yoga culture, and I’m telling you, I LOVE this studio, it’s the best specially doctor Phillips one, I’m sill iffy abt the south, but I love Kennedi, Michele, Chloe, Mary, Alex... they’re great hence si increased to 5

The downtown location has been great the few times I’ve been(happened to show up and there was female instructors) however the male instructor was very rude to me. Literally looked me up and down and asked “Have you done this before” ? In a very snobby tone. I get I’m not thin but I shouldn’t be shamed for it. I’m still bendy. And I felt like he watched me during class more than the other people there. Not the vibe you want.

I love Orlando Power Yoga. The downtown studio is my favorite. Each teacher has their own unique style. Class is never predictable and is always a good, healthy challenge. I have gone on and off for the past two years I have lived in the area, but have only just recently become a 'member'. I'm so glad I did! Always welcomed with a smile and the teachers truly understand the spiritual elements of yoga and teach beyond just the physical. Love this studio so much!

I just started going to the Dr. Philips location and though I love it and love the instructors, I wish they would at least wipe the floors down between each class. This has always been a big thing for me and each time I have been there, no one wiped the floors down between classes. There are grooves in the flooring where sweat/dirt gets into and stays. That itself is unsanitary and it ends up smelling absolutely rancid in there.

OPY is a fabulous place for yogis of all levels; I started going to classes as a novice, and the teachers are very aware- always offering modifications on poses to best suit you. You can definitely feel a happy and loving energy through the Studios, teachers and classmates. This is a great hot yoga studio in Orlando with some wonderful instructors. The Saturday morning classes are some of my favorites as I find it a great way to start the weekend. Some of the evening classes can be very full so if you are starting out, I recommend a day time or weekend class to get the basics without the crowd.

This company preaches health and balance, and it's a shame their business practices reflect the opposite.

I have been doing yoga for 5 years and I love the Vinyasa practice, however some of the teachers at the Dr. Phillips location can be a bit stand-offish . My main problem with this place is the management, they rope you into the 40 days for $40 but after that classes become much more expensive and they try to sell you more crap every time you come in when all you are trying to do is relax.

Due to injury outside of class I am unable to walk and on crutches and they would not budge on any kind of a refund membership hold but instead tried to sell me another $100 membership I can't use.

The classes and the teachers preach health and wellness, but the business practices reflect the opposite. For a small business working to "better people's lives" you would think that they could treat their clients in a similar way.

I like to think that when I enter this studio I am a little firecracker about to enter into my divine whole being. I am always challenged in OPY. I come to explore and have fun with myself. The teachers are awesome & knowledgable. Yes, the classrooms are well heated and you will sweat profusely. In addition to their main studio, they have another that is less heated and smaller. Give it a try. Arrive a little early as the classes tend to fill up quick :-) Namaste

This is the best hot yoga studio I've ever found. The studio has the proper setup for hot yoga.....there isn't that smell of feet because the circulation is good. The teachers are all well trained and offer up some challenging and fun classes.

I will say I would not recommend most of their classes for yoga beginners. Yoga in itself can be challenging and adding heat when you're not familiar with at the basics may be too intense. I glimpsed through the ratings and it seems the poor ratings are due to personal Ego issues.

This is THEE place for yoga that will leave you feeling on Cloud 9 and take your practice to a whole new level.

I have been going here regularly for about 4 months. I'm a big fan of the style of yoga offered (relaxed, comfortable, but workout-oriented), the wide range of class times, and the wide range of teachers. The teachers are overall pretty great. I like Kelly and Ross. The teachers push you to do your best and stick it out despite the heat and intensity- I always feel great after. My only complaints are the overhead fluorescent lights in the main studio and the often overcrowded evening classes (especially Mondays). I think they are trying to remedy this by adding more classes. They do a great job and I recommend it often. I have lost 10 pounds since joining.

Amazing! I love the warmth of the room, the physical challenge, and very very slowly but surely getting stronger and more relaxed in the present. Add-in the juice bar next door and it becomes perfection. Everyone is so very pleasant and uplifting (not to mention most are smoking hot!) . . . . it's like driving to a little island of paradise almost every day. Love it!!

Orlando Power Yoga is one of the most impressive studios I have ever seen. I just moved out of Orlando to California and I miss this place everyday. Even in Cali there is nothing that even comes close to what Kelly at OPY has to offer. The teachers, the studio, the environment, the flexible, consistent schedule, and the workshops combine to make the most user friendly, supportive, top of the line, informative yoga studio you could hope to find. If you are a new yogi or experienced, OPY will have plenty to offer if you are serious about being healthy in mind, body, and spirit. I highly recommend checking it out. Not to mention the "40 days for 40 dollars" deal is not to be found anywhere else. Its totally worth it. You will not regret it. Do yourself a favor and see what they have to offer. What do you have to lose?

AMAZING!!!! I LOVE Orlando Power Yoga!!! Kelly, the owner, is so welcoming and encouraging!! I had never done any sort of yoga in my life until about a year and a half ago when OPY first opened! I am now totally addicted!! OPY is a great workout and meditation and the atmosphere is amazing!! I also lost nearly 30 lbs in the first 6 months!! It is hot and its intense, but its the best feeling ever when you finish a class and you can't help but come back for more!! Tips- drink water a few hours before b/c you will sweat a lot and bring a full size towel or yogitoes so you don't slip on your mat!!
