OTA St Pete is a world renowned performance facility located in Saint Petersburg, FL.
Our programs are based on our experiences, working with athletes and the general population for 12+ years. Each and every time, the goal has been to help each client achieve maximum results. One thing that separates our programs from others, is that we hone in on the individual and the individual’s goals, while still enabling them to train in a group atmosphere.
Our world renowned Sports Performance Program targets all sports and ages starting as young as 8 years old, all the way to the professional level - OTA ELITE. We offer general fitness classes for all fitness levels, these classes are called OTA FIT Lift & HIIT.

Mia’s Conditioning Class was AMAZING!!! Challenging and truly an athletic based workout. We did sled sprints, plyometrics, extensive dynamic workout & stability based work. The other students were very welcoming and supportive, can’t wait to be back!

OTA is amazing and I highly recommend trying it out. As a former student athlete, I had been searching for a gym that focuses on lifting and helping you become a strong individual. If you are looking for a gym that isn’t HITT or CrossFit, but a place to truly lift and get stronger I couldn’t recommend a better place. The coaches at OTA truly know what they are doing, teach you the reasonings as to why you are doing each movement, and help you with any modifications if needed. If you are in the st Pete area, please check this place out!

OTA is a complete game changer, Since training with OTA and Coach Jordan in 2021 my athletic performance has skyrocketed. When I first came in I ran a 7.16 60 yard dash and now I’m consistently running in the 6.4 range, not only had my speed gotten better, but my strength has increased significantly. I went from barely being able to deadlift 290 pounds to now being able to rep out over 400 pounds. There’s isn’t enough good things to say about OTA and Coach Jordan and I am forever greatful.

We have discovered OTA through a volleyball club, it started with a trial session and then we realized that we can’t do without. We work with coach Mike on volleyball performance and RESULTS is the core word of this club. . Each practice is different , has built a lot strength, endurance and agility. Coach Mike is the best!

Cannot say more positive things about OTA and their staff! As a former collegiate athlete, I wish I had a gym like this growing up! My 16 and 12 year old train here 3x per week (in season and out of season). Our daughter has seen huge improvements in volleyball, her vertical, but most importantly her strength and injury prevention. Our son has seen huge improvements in baseball.
If you are not getting results, point then you are not putting in the work because OTA has proven results for all the kids we see regularly attending!

Came in to try out the gym for an afternoon session and felt disappointed with my experience. The coaches weren’t particularly engaged in the class and I felt a bit isolated despite being in a group fitness class. It felt that there was an air of expectation of knowing what to do and how to perform different exercises, and thankfully I do have prior lifting experience, but for someone newer to fitness it may be difficult to understand what to do. The workout itself made sense and had good structure. Hopefully it was an off day but I don’t think I’d return.
EDIT: OTA responded to my review but there was no male coach leading the class when I came in, so they may have mistaken me for a different participant. The class was led by a female coach and for the warmups a fellow class member (also female) told me what we were doing.

Hands down without a doubt the best/ top tier group fitness gym in St Pete! OTA has phenomenal, incredibly knowledgeable and the most fun coaches that I've experienced (trust me I've tried most local/ corporate group fitness gyms in the area)
If you're tired of the same old HIIT classes and doing HIIT come check out OTA where it's lifting 4 days a week and mobility/ HIIT twice a week.
You will get stronger and have a blast while doing it. Such a great community at OTA! 12 out of 10 recommend.

As a former NCAA college athlete (West Virginia) recovering knee surgery, I sought a program to boost my agility and strength with the goal of returning to volleyball. Despite my willingness to invest, the program's representatives were inflexible, emphasizing its focus on younger participants and offering limited options for adults like myself.
Additionally, I had to reach out to them through two different channels to receive a response. I shouldn't be told to contact someone else to facilitate my entry into the program; they should be reaching out to me directly.
Advice: Prioritize inclusivity and flexibility for adult participants in your program. Avoid requiring them to initiate contact for sales or enrollment; instead, proactively reach out to them. This approach enhances accessibility and customer satisfaction.

OTA has helped me build my strength, vertical, and reaction time. I had back problems and knee problems for years. I started working out at OTA almost a year ago and I have not had those problems since. The routines at OTA build joint strength, create mobility, improve your strength, and provide cardio all at the same time. OTA Fitness has truly changed my life. When I first started OTA I could barely bend down or do a single deadlift because of back pain. I kept going and the trainers pushed me to be the best version of myself. As a result, my back has improved tremendously. I've also lost weight and gained a lot of strength. At 35 I look better than I did in my 20s. The gym trainers at OTA are all high quality trainers that push you to be the best version of yourself. Glad I found this gem!

I love this place, it has a great atmosphere and the people and staff are very welcoming and helpful. They work with you in a positive and encouraging way to help you progress and reach your goals. I’ve been going here for 4 years or so, I believe. There are lots of new gyms in the area, but I’ll never leave OTA. If you want results, you have to come here. Been going to OTA for a few months now as an ex college athlete and it’s just the perfect group fitness class for an adult who is looking for the intensity of a high heart rate class while being able to move my own designated weight.
The problem I have with other classes around the st Pete area is they are all just HIIT based and while that may be good for someone looking to burn fat, I’m personally someone who is also looking to build muscle and not only stay strong, but get stronger.
