After participating in the USF yoga study for veterans at Palm Yoga in Tampa, I couldn't be happier with my experience. I went in hoping to regain some flexibility and was amazed at how much I achieved and so much more. Since starting, I've gotten so much of my flexibility back and the chronic pain I was experiencing is gone.

The benefits of yoga are incredible and have been a huge part of my recovery. Beyond the physical improvements, it's helped with my mental clarity, sleep, and overall sense of well-being. The positive atmosphere at Palm Yoga is a big part of that.

Rebecca, my instructor, is absolutely fantastic. She's incredibly knowledgeable and supportive, and her guidance made a huge difference. I'm also so grateful to her and her husband, Ryan, for creating such a welcoming and inclusive space.

Ryan, who also teaches Brazilian Jiu Jitsu there, and all the instructors and students make everyone feel like part of a community from the moment you walk through the door.

I highly recommend Palm Yoga and Tampa Jiu Jitsu to anyone, especially fellow veterans. It's a truly special place with a team that genuinely cares. Thank you, Rebecca, Ryan, and the entire Palm Yoga and Tampa Jiu Jitsu community for everything! I will definitely keep coming here!

I attended a session at Palm Yoga as part of a veterans event — and I’ll be honest, I wasn’t exactly excited going in. I’ve never been a yoga guy and usually steered clear of it altogether.

But I gave it a shot… and I’m glad I did.

The session was beginner-friendly, and the instructor struck the perfect balance between guiding us through each pose and sharing a few laughs along the way. They were encouraging, approachable, and great at offering helpful feedback without making anyone feel out of place.

By the end of the session, I walked away with a new respect for yoga — not just for the physical challenge, but for the way it helps you slow down and reconnect with your body.

If you’ve ever been hesitant to try yoga, this is the place to start. I highly recommend giving it a shot.

I’m been coming here since March 2023. Rebecca really works with you individually to correct poses and checks in with your body. The classes stay challenging and she works all your areas with rotating poses. I’m stronger, my body is reshaping and I’m making better health and fitness choices outside of yoga since I’ve been coming here. If you want a new journey this is the place to take that first step.

I'm a newbie to yoga so I appreciate the small class sizes and having a teacher, so I can learn how to do the poses correctly and ask questions.

This is the BEST yoga place I have ever been too. Rebecca the owner takes the time to make sure you are doing the positions correctly. She is very patient and attentive. Rebecca also modifies the positions to your needs. I highly recommend this place. This is the BEST Yoga place in Tampa!

I am grateful for Palm Yoga! I have been going since February and have regained mobility thanks to their phenomenal instructors. I was in a car accident and had a challenging time with pain and healing. Palm Yoga has aided me in my healing. The beginners yoga class is wonderful and the instructors instinctually know when to come to your aid and offer alternative positions. They actively listen to your needs and gingerly motivate you to continue your Yoga practice. I recommend that you take advantage of their free try out. I additionally recommend that you try different instructors to find chemistry and synergy in your practice, my favorite instructors are Donna and Rebecca! They fit my vision and my practice.

I have been taking yoga classes from Palm Yoga for over 3 years and have found it to be one of the best experiences of my life. I have become much more flexible and agile and have learned a lot about how to reduce stress with different breathing techniques. Becky is an excellent instructor and takes an interest in each students needs.

There is no comparison from the yoga Becky teaches and yoga classes I have taken in the past. Past yoga classes at gyms or with "wanna be" instructors consisted of a sweaty up dog down dog type exercise with little if no instruction, while you gaze over at the limber person who can bend themselves like a pretzel.
At Palm Yoga we use the supplied props to work ourselves into different stretches and poses with instruction which allows us to get the maximum benefit with whatever flexibility you have.
I always have and will continue to recommend Palm Yoga to any one interested in yoga.

I have been a client of Palm Yoga since Jan 2010. I suffered a mild stroke in 2008 and someone suggested for me take up yoga. Did my research, found Palm Yoga and it has been a true blessing in my life. I spoke with Rebecca (the owner) and she welcomed me. I love her warm spirit. I was a little afraid at first, but Rebecca modified each 'yoga move' to suit me and I have improved tremendously with my balancing, flexibility, and strength. I also have learned how to relax more, and breathe; being stress-less as possible. I started out having to used two chairs but within 8 months I was on the floor - that was a great milestone for me. I can downward dog and especially tree post (balancing on my right-sde). My neurologist is so impressed how I have improved, he is suggesting his patients to try yoga. Rebecca and her staff are the BEST. Plus my classmates (friends) are wonderful also. I pray that God continues to have Palm Yoga in my life.

The classes at palm yoga is great - I get the flow on Mondays and technique on Wednesdays. The classes are structured which helps me get into the pose the right way. They provide alternatives when the pose is tough to get into. What I like about Palm Yoga is they make my practice valuable - my body gets the satisfaction it needed after a days work sitting and on the computer all day. The studio is well equipped with props and the yoga wall - a wonderful thing to hang & stretch your entire body without the effort. I've been coming to Palm Yoga for years now and my body truly enjoys the benefits of doing yoga the right way and it truly does help my golf swing.

I have been going to Palm Yoga for a little over a year and I LOVE IT! I love how individualized they are....they get to know your issues and work with you in order for you to have a beneficial experience and don't make you feel left out if you aren't able to stand on your head yet. All the instructors do equally well at encouraging you to do what you can while motivating you to challenge yourself. I am only able to go once a week for now but I definitely feel a difference with my body AND mind. You get to know the instructors and the regular classmates and I feel like I belong to a little yoga community! You will get out of Palm Yoga what you want to get out of it...the choice is yours! For me I LOVE it!

I've been a member for two years and can't believe how much better I feel. Becky, Robin and Donna are fantastic instructors. I get individualized attention in making my poses the best they can be, and don't know how they have the patience to continually give me hope that someday I will be able to do a tree pose without falling over. (we now know for a fact that a tree falling on a yoga mat does make a sound).

I'm stronger, more flexible and more fit than I have been in years (I am not a spring chicken by any stretch of the imagination). There are people of all ages in our classes. If I could lose that last 25 pounds, I might be able to do a decent forward fold from a sitting position.

The unintended benefit of Palm Yoga is that I've made wonderful yoga friends. The atmosphere of comaraderie and calm has helped me reduce my road rage incidents. I would highly recommend Palm Yoga for anyone who wants to get fit and flexible with fun in the process.

I tried Palm Yoga back in early 2012 and found the classes really boring. I tried several instructors and all the classes were very slow and overly technical. It seemed to me that all the classes were geared towards older people or people with injuries.

If you're looking for a challenging yoga workout that works your mind and body look elsewhere.

BTW, back then the woman that owns the place stated that she does not believe in hot yoga and would not offer it in her studio. Now I see she's offering hot classes.
