Amazing gym 100% recommend training here. Amazing people very respectful and polite, here we train to grow and improve with a community we help each other. Great coach Kru Scott is passionate and cares about his students improving, regardless if you want to compete or not he will push you to get better. Great gym if you have a passion for Muay Thai or martial arts in general or want to know self defense.

Coach Scott is the man! Takes his time to perfect the basics. Is patient but also doesn't allow sloppy technique to go unchecked. Scott does a great job of connecting every drill/lesson that is mastered to overall action that is used when going live. Not only is it great learning the technique from someone who has spent time in Thailand learning it from the best in the world, but working on these drills has massively helped me with ongoing back pain I had. I had no idea how tight my hips, abductors, and hip flexors were until I started working with Scott. Spending time to correct those tight areas has really helped to alleviate back pain that I have had for years. Whether you're wanting to learn some self defense, or just get into better shape/flexible this is a great place to come and train.

As someone who has been training in martial arts for well over a decade, I can confidently say that Scott is one of the best Muay Thai coaches in the nation! Payak offers authentic Muay Thai training, capturing the true atmosphere of Thailand right here at home. Scott pushes his students to improve while maintaining the patience to ensure proper technique and form. Whether you're looking to compete, build confidence in self-defense, or just get an incredible workout, this gym has something for everyone. If you're serious about learning real Muay Thai, Payak is the place to be!

Walked in one day looking to better myself and wanted to give Muay Thai a chance. After the first day I knew it was a calling to me thanks to Kru Scott and all of the ppl that go there. It’s a great environment for everyone of all ages as I started this at the age of 32! Give it a shot this is the right gym and I’m glad that my road led me to here.

Payak Muay Thai is an outstanding gym that excels in every aspect. The facility is impeccably clean, creating a perfect environment for training. Coach Scott’s passion for teaching is evident in every session, and his high-class instruction has accelerated my progress remarkably, even though I started with no experience. Training here is like engaging in mental chess, allowing me to forget about life’s problems and focus on developing my skills.

Great gym, I train BJJ here. Always good rolls, all around good guys at this gym. Come in at least twice and you’ll be hooked.

Very clean facility, good for all skill levels.

Feel like you aren’t super athletic? Great come in and they’ll work with you! Shy? Great, you’ll make friends no problem! Looking for more difficult rolls? Need to be challenged? They have that too.

Knew from the moment I walked in that I was in the right place. Jujitsu class is good size with plenty of talent. However the Thai side is world class. Best gym I’ve ever trained at. Good instructor, classmates take care of each other. All around good vibe. Come ready to work.

Love attending Muay Thai classes at Payak. Instruction is absolutely incredible. Kru (coach) Scott shares his love and passion to his students. He is very knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely cares for his students aprogression in this beautiful art. The gym atmosphere is very friendly with many of the senior members (many are champs) often coaching and helping less experienced students with the art. Sparring is optional, but for those that do decide to spar, everyone is chill and are careful not to smash each other.
Instead, focus is placed on technique and application in a monitored and controlled setting. There is a profound sense of respect, family, and brotherhood that can clearly be seen in the gym. I have not been to Thailand to train but can imagine that students here are getting the same authentic high quality style training feel without actually going abroad. Awesome place. See you there!

I have been at Payak for six months now, and I’m grateful everyday that I walk through the doors. If you’re looking to compete, learn self defense or just coming in to get a workout, this place has it. You’ll walk away with more than just physical gains, you’ll walk away a better human. They have world class coaches with a true passion for the sport and their students success.

Other gyms I visited weren’t transparent with their pricing or schedules, and left me feeling like they just wanted to sell me something. Not at Payak, everything is listed on their website, and they are open and honest when you speak with them.

It’s an all around a great gym, with amazing people, and an awesome atmosphere. I would highly recommend.

Payak Muay Thai is like a second home for me! Kru Scott is one of the most knowledgeable trainer I have ever worked with and pushes me towards greatness everytime i enter his gym. The gym its self is an amazing large space where there is always ton of open matt space even with a full gym of people. The people who train there consistently are all great athletes that love to watch other newer athletes grow.

I can’t remember when I joined but when I did I was very nervous because I didn’t know anyone. Coach Scott made me feel welcomed right away and took the time to really catch me up with everyone else. I love this place and Muay Thai and can’t wait to come back.
Edit: Thanks Coach I’ll make sure to come back soon

I always wanted to explore Muay Thai and BJJ but having no experience, I was hesitant to walk into a gym. I decided to join Payak a little under a year ago.

When I got to the gym, I was welcomed by Kru Scott, who has trained in Thailand under several Muay Thai legends and is extremely knowledgeable and passionate about Muay Thai.

There were brand new, new, seasoned and veteran members on the team. I quickly became part of a team with a family-feel.

The gym has all different experience-leveled members and everyone is welcoming and patient with new members. There always seems to be new people joining which is cool, because you can grow together.

If you’re interested in learning self defense, competing or just getting in the best shape of your life both mentally and physically, this is the gym for you!

I have been training at Payak for almost 2 years now. It has changed my life in many ways. During the past 2 years I have lost over 30 pounds and have learned the art of Muay Thai. It quickly became a lifestyle for me, as there is always more to improve. Scott, the coach, is very knowledgeable in the art and is patient with everyone. This gym is great for anyone looking to protect themselves or even burn some calories.

So I joined Payak Authentic Muay Thai September 2021, and I have fallen in love with the gym and coach/trainer Kru Scott. So I was first apprehensive about walking through the doors, thinking that I would just be a punching bag to the experienced members there. Quite the opposite, Kru Scott designs the class to where it is beneficial for the beginner such as myself, and the experienced fighter. He teaches authentic Muay Thai, the way it is taught in Thailand, and gives special attention to detail for each and every student. To say that I have made leaps and bounds would be an understatement under his guidance. Prices are extremely reasonable, and the overall vibe of the gym is that no one is there to get hurt or hurt someone else. It is a friendly welcoming environment, and I’ve never felt that sparring has been out of control where someone could get hurt. The more seasoned members will work with you one on one to help get you going and feeling comfortable from day 1. Overall, this has been such a great place to go to, I highly recommend this for people of all ages, all body shapes, sizes, and different athletic abilities. Oh, and one last thing that MUST be mentioned… This is an amazing way to burn calories and lose weight without feeling the boredom of a treadmill or elliptical. I have lost 18 pounds in just under 2 months, with no change to my diet or eating habits. Come on in and check it out for a class or two.

I joined this place recently and so far the experience here has been great! I was ready to give it up after working at a prior gym, but Scott seems to be extremely patient and a great teacher. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming but be ready to sweat! I highly recommend this place to anyone interested in learning Muay Thai.

In the 3 months I have been here, I have felt stronger, strength wise and endurance wise, as well as more flexible than I have ever been, and this is coming from someone who has done 3 years in the Marine Corps. Kru Scott is an exceptional teacher who gives individualized attention to each of his students ensuring that they progress, he places a lot of emphasis on technique making sure we get the most out of each class, and at the same time giving us something to practice at home. He has a very clean facility, sanitizing pads after each use and he mops daily. I am very impressed with this gym. The first month I spent here, I went home kicking everything in reach, practicing my techniques like an excited kid. His passion for Muay Thai really rubs off on you. Unfortunately, due to personal reasons I am moving a state away but I will never forget this gym.

I am so glad this place opened! The Owner is so nice and professional and the place is really nice. There is a big mat as the flooring and a good amount of space so you don't have to worry about being uncoordinated and falling into something. The range of martial arts you can learn is also honestly amazing and prices are very reasonable. I've never felt comfortable starting somewhere new to learn jiu jitsu or muay thai or any other martial arts for that matter, but after meeting with Scott I cannot wait to get started! Highly recommend.
