Coach Ted has worked with my 14 year old son. We have seen so much improvement in his athletic ability. His patience and ability to motivate my son is excellent. I’ve been training with Ted for about 3 years now, and I honestly can’t imagine working with anyone else. When I first started, my main goals were to lose weight and build some muscle, and Ted has helped me make steady progress the whole way through.

I have had extreme pain in my right knee for over a year. I always wanted to come to Ted since seeing him on Facebook for years. I am so grateful I found Coach Ted. At Personal Training Done Right, I discovered a place where I can truly be myself. When I first met Coach Ted, I was intimidated. His strong physique and serious approach made me feel like I was joining the military, haha. At the same time, I felt comfortable enough to admit that I did not enjoy exercising, but I knew I needed to do it for my health. At first, I believe he doubted my commitment. However, I have now been working out for over two months, and I am loving it. I love how my body feels, how my energy has increased, how my sleep has improved, and even how my mental health has benefited.

The workouts have not become easy, and I do not think they are supposed to. That is the point of working with a personal trainer: he pushes you to your limits. I hate when he says, “Let’s go, you give up too easily.” But I use my frustration to push myself harder, and in the end, I am always thankful he challenged me, because otherwise I probably would have stopped in the middle of the exercise.

Perhaps you are like me. Maybe you do not feel motivated to work out alone, or you prefer to avoid crowded gyms, or you simply do not know where to begin. If so, this place is perfect for you. Scheduled a session for 6:30am. Arrived at 6:30am. The first thing he says when I walk through the door is "you're late." He starts me on some basic exercises, then after 10 minutes asks me how I felt then says he can't take me on. I ask why, and he says that it's because I arrived late on my first day and that his clients arrive 10 minutes before their scheduled session. He never once said that it was required to show up 10 minutes early. When I said that to him he said, "yeah it's not something I tell clients." He believed I wasn't taking him or my health seriously based on me showing up at the time of my session. It was weird given that he still had me do some exercises. Based on my experience, he is rude and does not conduct business well. On a positive note, he did not charge me for anything.
Edit: He said in his reply that it was explained during consultation. He did not explain that during the consultation, and he did not at all mention coming coming to the session pre-conditioned.

I walked into Personal Training Done Right hating exercise with a burning passion. The thought of working out was as appealing as eating a plate of brussels sprouts. But somehow, Ted has managed to turn my weekly torture sessions into something I look forward to.
Do not get me wrong, I still do not love exercise. I am convinced that Ted has some sort of magical powers, because despite my initial resistance, I have seen amazing results. My muscle mass has increased, and I can now lift weights heavier than my grocery bags (which is saying something!).

Ted is the best, I am not much of a gym person, but I don't like doctors more! I initially went because of my sciatic nerve! In two weeks it was fine! So I kept going! Initially I couldn't do 10 squats with just the bar! In time he had me up to 275! They weren't pretty, but I did it! At 63 years old! I think Ted thought I was 36! But my goal was to get strong enough to survive an event!
At my age something is coming, like a heart attack, stroke, etc.and the stronger I am before it happens the better my chances are of surviving it and coming back from it! That is what Ted did for me!
