I've been to the Bayonet Pt location and the New Port Richey. Bayonet Pt is by far the better gym. More hydro-massage loungers, bigger showers with bith handheld and on the wall shower heads. Much friendlier staff too. This will definitely be my go to location

I came in interested in a membership, but before even showing me the facility, the staff member demanded all my personal information and asked me to register on his iPad. My husband had already filled out the form, but that wasn’t good enough — he insisted on having my information as well. When I refused to provide personal data before even seeing what I’d be paying for, he said he couldn’t give me a tour.
It seems that selling personal information is more important to them than earning a new customer or signing a contract.
So I walked out — and you lost a customer.

This location is probably the nicest and cleanest PF I’ve gone to. And all the staff are very friendly. I live by the one in SH and refuse to go there. I go to the one in BP on my way to work in the mornings. It’s nice not to have to wait for any equipment. I have been a member for about a week now and it really is an amazing experience. The trainer Brian is knowledgeable anything you want to know about as far as the equipment and training definitely on point. The equipment is always working and clean. The guest are friendly as well as staff. I just think maybe the hours should be 24 7 everyday just because I do work and can't go on those days because of work only down fall

Big place but lay out is just different tons of TV's treadmill but machine free weight lay out is lousy clean place overall and open and close hours are not ideal if your used to a 24 hr gym it kinda pushes gym sharks away modifying workout schedule...2yrs later still a dissapointment....lack of motivation in this gym got all the perks but to many rules this is 2025 not 1990s people change world changes...yeah for eos taking all the todays members even silver sneaker member pf...is a dinosaur gym...bad marketing and layout no good staff all kids no one with knowledge about equip..or lifestyle of fitness ...

Refused bathroom facilities by manager, I’m a crane operator that’s working near the gym and have a membership and was refused services they called security and I showed a valid membership off my app in my phone this franchise is absolutely disgusting the way they judge and treat people I was discriminated against in front of customers and employees so embarrassing just cause I was in work attire my whole entire family has used planet fitness and we are from Polk county where u actually get treated like a customer not a judged like a homeless person off the streets… So Much for the judgement free zone I hope this location will close so another reputable gym can move into the area, especially the way I was treated

They wouldn't help me sign up. Told me to go sit down with my phone or go home and do it on my PC. I had gone in person because I wanted a card for my keychain. I was told they don't do that anymore either, except by special requests. The gym seemed very clean and well maintained. However, I cannot rave about the customer service skills. They weren't rude, but they could at least put a sign up that states "go do it yourself" lol. Also, the shopping center it's in is kind of run down and needs renos. On a bright side, there is ample parking.

04/03/22: Barely opened. Smells new; everything is great. It's huge! Great staff. For Black Card members there's relaxing music while enjoying the Hydromassage and other chair, or the tanning beds.

04/2025: Hopefully this update takes. This gym is the cleanest gym ever. Staff answers phones, not a computer. Free small lockers in front. Showers in the bathrooms and a locker area where you can put your belongs with your personal lock, or buy their's for $5.

Added is a schedule posted on the counter and their app for free, 30 minute group sessions, Monday through Friday. You learn the ins and outs of the machines, and if time, more personal questions towards your fitness plan. I know from personal experience, and they DO NOT push for a paid personal trainer.

I am traveling full time throughout the U.S. and have visited many PF locations. This location is near, if not on the top position. Very well equipped, very spacious and well arranged equipment, very clean in the workout, locker room, bathroom and showers area, respectful guests and very friendly staff. came in to cancel my membership, and the manager ( he was a man with gray hair growing in) was giving me such a hard to . did not want me to cancel my menebership said i would have to go to the home gym to cancel but i moved from georgia so that was impossible … he said i can NOT transfer gyms and to call them . so i do that , and they walked me step by step on how to TRANSFER gyms and when i scanned it at the front another worker said that it was successfully transferred and that the cancel button popped up on her screen . THE manager guy told her to stop what she was doing and not to cancel it , he took a picture of my personal info in the computer got on the phone and walked to the back for a good 10 mins .. then he came back out i asked “what is the problem why don’t you want to cancel” and he said “ oh we can cancel” why have me sit here for the longest for you to give me a hard time about Just cancelling my membership….. the lady was trying to help and so was the young man working today but the manager was very unprofessional and rude and lied several times .. do not recommend this gym
