I love it here. It’s clean, equipment is nice and up to date. Locker room is super clean and nice. I also always use the massage chair or hydro massage after I’m done so that’s super nice. The staff is always friendly, welcoming and very helpful.

Knew I was closing a bank account when it was close to the billing cycle, I went to the location to see what I should do. The person at the desk was very friendly and said no worries as it would charge the backup account. A week later I get a text saying there was a problem with my account and charged a late fee. I checked with the back up bank and no attempt was made to charge that account. Went back to the location to ask those questions and the person at the desk was friendly and said the manager was not there, come back tomorrow and waive the fee to correct the problem. Went in today to see the manager and explained the problem. She told me that if the backup bank was utilized, there still would be a late fee. I asked if she would waive the fee since this was direction I was given and she was firm, then declined. With no empathy or compassion, she would not change her mind. Since this was her decision, I requested to cancel my membership. Clearly she was more interested in making money than taking care of her customers. Be warned of the hidden fees like this before getting a membership!

Good place to work out. Friendly staff, I am always greeted with a smile. They offer water and hydrating drinks by the entrance for when you forget to bring your own or run out. I like the variety or equipment including the entertainment for the cardio area. I only wish it was a bit bigger place to reduce wait time for equipment. This long waits prolongs my visit sometimes or cuts short my routine when I don't have extra time. The gym could also use a room for classes or more free space for floor workouts (another wait factor). This gym is well kept, is always clean and there is plenty of cleaning supplies for us to clean after use. At this location they offer, massage chairs, meditation room, and tanning (the red light therapy is not available here) as perks of the black card. The bathrooms are clean and offer showers, large dressing area and lockers. For some small lockers you will not need your own lock, the quantity is very limited but very nice to offer for free. There is plenty of large lockers that you can use your own lock. The parking is free and big with good lightning near the building.

Matt’s provided are not slip resistant! Instead of providing pre moistened anti bacterial wipes to wipe down equipment, there are spray bottles and paper towel dispensers that I did not see used even once during my 2 hour workout!!
Despite the irony in the presence of buckets of grape tootsie candies available, I typically grab one or two; bucket was empty and so I asked the blonde young man behind check in desk where they were. He replied, “No idea!” Astonished by his lackluster reaction I said, “excuse me?” And again he said simply “No idea!!”
Thankfully for planet fitness the other young man behind the desk stepped forward and asked what I was looking for and he quickly opened a lower cabinet and pulled out a brand new bag of the candy asking, “How many would you like ma’am?”
It is only my second time at this club and both times was flabbergasted by the poor behavior of the blonde young man who seems to think he gets paid for being lazy and rude!!!
Very unfortunate for Planet Fitness to have this employee representing how little they seem to care about client experience or word of mouth!!

I cancelled my membership online weeks ago (which they make you jump thru hoops to do and try to make you PAY to cancel) yet they keep trying to contact me to pay for my next month like I never cancelled.

The gym has gone downhill. Women’s bathrooms are always disgusting. Not helpful employees. And kids that loiter. And quite a few of the machines stop working halfway thru use.

Original: Great gym to work out at, but this high school summer thing is getting out of hand. Kids standing around chatting, messing around on machines and then not cleaning them, they’ve even shouted over me while on the stair step machine. Obviously not the staffs fault and I understand the program but its too much, especially with the misbehaving children we have in this town.

unfortunately there is lack of communication specially when is about money memberships no adult is present, just kids, so no communication at all, and planet fitness put them to say : talk to the manager that is never there and doesn’t reply to customers as well as I barely used the installations but keep charging late fees as I went to locate the manager and they just play with you, and never find solutions to the customers, great way to keep customers, it really what is showed bad reviews here as not solution was made but forcing people to give in public bad reviews! watch out there are many other good gyms with beautiful customer service and real caring people.
Be careful no one listen listen to do better, reason why am here complaining publicly .

The bathroom area at this Planet Fitness location is in poor condition. I’ve been a loyal customer at various locations, and they always maintain cleanliness and provide adequate lighting in the bathrooms. I was initially hopeful that this particular location would improve, but my disappointment was confirmed when I visited again about three days later. The cleanliness of the bathroom was still lacking.

To make matters worse, when I went for a shower on my second visit, it didn’t work. The only other available shower was extremely dirty, so I had to wait a few minutes until the next one became available.

I genuinely hope this location can improve in these areas, but who knows how long that might take. I’ve been thinking of canceling my membership and starting to go to CF Fitness instead.

I had a really disappointing experience at this Planet Fitness last night with my boyfriend. The staff member we encountered was incredibly rude and unprofessional. Things escalated when my boyfriend was accused of falling asleep on the massage bed, which was not the case. The worker went off, cursing at him in front of me and another guest, which was just unacceptable.
To make matters worse, she called the manager and reported my boyfriend multiple times over the same situation. She even threatened to call the police if anything like that happened again and mentioned revoking my his membership. It was an extremely uncomfortable situation, and it really left a bad taste in our mouths. We won’t be returning and we will be canceling our memberships. Worst planet fitness I’ve ever been to.

I usually don’t take the time to leave reviews, but I really felt like Jenna at the front desk deserved some recognition. I had called in with some questions and honestly wasn’t sure how it would go, but Jenna was incredibly helpful and professional the entire time. She took her time explaining things clearly, didn’t rush me, and made sure I fully understood everything before ending the call.

This particular planet fitness in Clermont is pretty good. You have your occasional people that deliberately have loud conversations on their phones wearing their earpieces and love to share with everyone, but I’m not blaming planet fitness for this. It’s something that all of us have encountered. I do notice quite a few overnight vehicles occupied by homeless who use the facility as a place to wash up. I understand that there’s a lot of people down on their luck and I’m not accusing anyone of doing anything bad in the club cause I have not witnessed that either. they pay for their membership and they use the facilities just like all of us.

It’s already an over crowded gym at almost all times of the day (I’ve tried mornings, afternoons, and evenings), and then they let kids come free all summer long crowding it even more. I’m not even picky about what exercise I do to train a particular body part. Right now, I have 9 options between all of the cables and machines I could choose from to do something to target what I’m trying to do. None of them are available. And it’s mostly just kids sitting on the equipment with their phones.

Also, they always have the smith machines horribly setup. They crowd them all next to each other so you can barely walk between them to load weight on the bars. There’s about 15 feet of open space between the cable machines and the smith machines, but these folks decide to stack them all on top of each other.

They’ll tell you to use the crowd meter on their app to gauge how busy the gym is. It is laughably inaccurate. Can we please get some gym competition in this part of Clermont 🙏

The lack of water pressure, hot water and the smelly showers, have been consistent issue with this gym. When you talk to people you get lip service and claims that "either they did not know", "this is the first time this happens", or something along these lines.
The change rooms cross from the showers, do not even have a hook or a some kind of "ledge" to put gym bags on. And this has been the case since they opened.
It will also be nice if they are actually enforce the "phone calls in lobby only" rule. You have people blasting their speaker phones on the gym floor and no one cares. It is pretty rude and annoying. This is is an issue in all PF gyms to be honest. And it might be just a result of total deterioration of social norms.

This facility is clean and safe. The staff is always engaged in either cleaning or stocking consumables.

As I'm writing this review, the manager just did his rounds checking the security of external doors, replacing weights, etc.

Clientele are respectful of others and I have seen many cases of offering help if asked.

I chose Planet Fitness because it was affordable and seemed like a good fit. The gym itself is clean, the staff is friendly, and the equipment is well-maintained. That said, I’ve been really disappointed with the cancellation process. After moving at the end of 2023, I wasn’t able to get to the gym—and because the old policy required in-person cancellations, I continued being charged without using the membership. I just recently discovered I could cancel online, which unfortunately wasn’t an option back then. To make matters worse, my annual fee was just withdrawn, and I was told it’s non-refundable. I understand policies are in place, but this situation feels frustrating and impersonal—like my payments mattered more than my membership experience.

I have been going to Planet Fitness Clermont consistently since mid February and the staff has been nothing but encouraging and uplifting as I have been pursuing my fitness journey. All of the staff are kind and friendly but Kalil and Daniel stuck out to me especially because of their genuine hospitality and investment in the gym-goers. Whether it was a smile, uplifting compliment, or a funny joke, they are always inspiring me to continue to work hard and come back to the gym. Many of my friends go to the other gyms in the area and wonder why I don’t switch over; It is because of the genuine care of the staff, cleanliness of the gym, and the wide variety of equipment that is perfect for someone like me is becoming more invested in their health and has made fitness a big part of their life. Also, you really can’t beat the price with all of the benefits! Would definitely recommend this gym.

I am sharing this as my friend had an incident I witnessed, and it made me uncomfortable as well. She noticed a woman recording in the locker room. She addressed with an employee that this was uncomfortable, and the employee stated nothing can be done because no one is in her camera recording and that each gym makes exceptions. This isn't accurate as not only does planet fitness policy state you can't record video or take photos in the locker room. It also states directly with corporate the following

"No, each individual Planet Fitness location cannot make exceptions to the company's strict policy prohibiting recording in the locker rooms; the policy is enforced uniformly across all Planet Fitness gyms, meaning no local manager can allow recording in the locker room, even in special circumstances. "The policy is set by the Planet Fitness corporate office and applies to all gyms in the chain. "

So how is this lady allowed to record my friend and others in the locker room. Someone will eventually be in her line of sight and be in her social media video. I reviewed my gym policy that I completed when I signed up last year and nowhere does it state that I will be recorded or filmed in the locker room. This is unacceptable and so uncomfortable to deal with. I will be speaking with corporate today about this issue.

I love this gym. I joined mid last year. The equipment is nice. The features are nice. The employees are nice. There is a new influencer that has joined this gym as of last week, and I have now had to ask the same lady twice in the girls locker room, not take photos and record. Today there was a worker in there that didn’t say anything. It’s very uncomfortable to have to be the one to tell people to stick to a gym policy when the employees should be doing this. I’m gonna take it higher and there’s going to be confrontational issues if I have to tell her again, not to record in the locker room. Planet Fitness policy says no photographs or videos in the locker room or the massage chair area. So why is this lady getting away with doing this? It’s already bad enough she blocks machines and records on the floor but she’s now doing things in the locker room. This is unacceptable.

Just started visiting this location because the traffic going to another location is horrible. Not hot water in the showers. Wish there was a sign posted because I striped out of my dirty gym clothes and ended up taking a freezing cold shower. Might be a thing for some but not for me. Also bummed that this location does not have red light therapy.

Otherwise, this gym is very nice. There is enough equipment that I’ve barely had to wait to complete my workout. The staff have been pleasant, the members in the gym have also been nice, and overall I feel very comfortable working out here. It’s also not as crowded as some other gyms, making it worth the drive for me as I do workout during peak hours.

I’m extremely disappointed with the experience I had at this Planet Fitness. I accidentally left my watch at the gym, and when I called, a staff member perfectly described it and confirmed it was in their lost and found. However, when I went to pick it up the next day, it was mysteriously “gone.” This can only lead me to believe that someone on staff took it.

To make matters worse, I’ve been in contact with them for weeks, and they keep claiming they’re “working on how to rectify the situation.” At this point, it feels like they’re just stalling and hoping I’ll drop it. The lack of accountability and follow-through is incredibly frustrating.

If you value your belongings or expect professionalism from staff, I’d strongly suggest thinking twice about coming here.

One of the worst people i’ve had to deal with in my life. All of the staff were so rude not accommodating. I came in with a friend to use guest pass and first of no where on the pass does it say we need parental signature for her to come in. She drove 30 min and was told to leave because no parent was there to sign. It’s just very inconvenient for a parent to have to come to sign off a gym for someone who lives far. I have been going to pf over years and lately the have more machines broken that the one that are working, it’s really simple fixed but am just tired and over it I think if they can get it fixed it’s time to move on , it to say it but it sucks the ways it’s been run just my thought on it

Went to sign up this morning. The young girl at the counter was not helpful. She was not clear on the packages, and instead of helping, she was more concerned with talking to another employee.
Will reevaluate whether I'll join or not. I'm going to check out other gyms first.

I had been a member of this gym for over a year, always keeping to myself and never bothering anyone. One day, completely out of the blue, a staff member named Dan, who had a history of racist behavior, aggressively approached me in the middle of the gym. He started yelling, ‘You can’t do that here,’ which left me completely confused. I later approached him at the front desk, trying to understand what his issue was, and he claimed I was 'staring at a girl.' Staring? While wearing sunglasses? The girl in question, Natasha had a questionable reputation and was dressed provocatively, was actually involved with Dan. It became clear that this was a targeted attempt to get me kicked out of the gym. Natasha, using her relationship with Dan, fabricated the accusation to create drama and have me removed from the facility. It's disheartening that a gym, where members expect a safe and respectful environment, would allow such personal vendettas to dictate their actions.

Planet fitness is everywhere, I travel with my job. I happen to live close to this one that is newer and it has a great staff. I like what Planet Fitness stands for.

Came in to sign up for a membership and the girl at the front was literally AI. No personality and had no clue how to do anything. Felt like I was talking to a robot. My friends come here all the time and said how nice the staff was and I was very much let down. I’ll try to do a membership online and pray that I never run into Sienna again.
