Outstanding Service from Eric & Jermain!

I had an incredible experience at Planet Fitness thanks to Eric and Jermain, who were working the overnight shift. My AirPods had fallen deep into the StairMaster, and I was convinced they were gone for good. But Eric and Jermain went above and beyond—taking the time to carefully locate them and retrieve them for me.
They were patient, friendly, and genuinely happy to help. It’s rare to find customer service this good anywhere, let alone in the middle of the night!
Huge shoutout to Eric and Jermain—thank you both for turning a stressful moment into a great experience. Planet Fitness is lucky to have you!

There's lots of exercise equipment in good working order. Sometimes members are shouting loudly in conversation with each other and the staff. Especially very early in the morning. Relatively clean. Decent staff with a few exceptions. Very much worth the price.

Much cleaner than Coral Springs but also like Coral Springs .coconut creek has a broken red light machine often. The lights turn half on and some of them strobe. Not safe for the epileptic and it’s more than just unpleasant to stand through. Sooo much cleaner than other locations though I do love that

The workout area is usually clean. Staff is pleasant upon check in

But the men's shower area is bad and not cleaned regularly. I talked to 2 staff members about it, and still NOT cleaned after 5 days in a row. I took photos. GROSS!!!!!

I got an response from the management team and I did not feel it was fair to judge Planet Fitness with 1 negative interaction with an employee. If they were having issues with signing in the guests I guess I should wait for 3 recurring negative things to put a 1 star like that. I apologize for my hasty post, I usually have a good time working out there, if there was a free weight bench press I would give 5-star.

I've been coming to this gym for a long time. And it is convenient.I prefer it over another one that I had been going to occasionally; however...
On one side of the room, there seems to be NO air conditioning. I've mentioned it two or three times to the people behind the desk. Definitely is hot air there coming from vents and is uncomfortable.
Not to mention the vents are dirty and need to be cleaned
Additionally, a lot of times I come in and the spray to wipe everything down is empty or low?? I would think they'd be walking around more often picking up weights & cleaning etc

Just wanted to bring those things to your attention
(I'm not sure who the manager is here. I do not ever see one?)
Other than that, it's a great little gym nearby! Equipment all seems to work well for now!

I like this gym - it feels tucked away and not as busy as some other gyms I’ve been to. I work out early in the morning before the morning rush and I have to give MAJOR KUDOS to Kevin at the front desk. He is very friendly and the moment I walked, he greeted me, and I noticed he was in the 30 minute circuit area vacuuming. I think that’s the first time in a long time that I’ve seen someone from the overnight crew out from behind the desk. Thanks for helping to keep the gym clean Kevin!

This is a terrific gym fantastic space very well maintained and most importantly relatively clean. Only thing is most if not all their combination locks for the lockers are
Broken, busted, stuck or just plain not working. When I arrive every morning 5am it can be quite frustrating to have to try 10-15 lockers to find one that actually works

I joined here probably, 5 years ago and I don't think that I have been in the building more then 10 times. I think 5 of those were when I was reduing my home bathroom.
I tried to cancel here twice but, their policy is so convoluted it wasnt worth the aggravation and then again I can always use a workout. But, that is my problem.
My complaint here. For those 5 PLUS YEARS THE BLACK CARD I PAY EXTRA FOR TO USE THE MASSAGE BEDS CHAIRS TABLES ETC ARE ALWAYS BROKEN. I HAVE 10 YES 10 BULDGING/HERNIATED DISKS. I am DISSAPOINTED planet fitness and out almost $2,000

Reading some of the reviews, I see the issues are ever present. Rude employee who sits in the office and only comes out to chat with people, and when he does, he is rude to everyone else. Unclean men's room (I didn't use the shower but the locks to two restroom stalls were broken, and with 3 stalls, so 6 places to put toilet paper rolls, only one roll wasn't empty). And the hydromassages were all not working.

The good is, while a small gym, it has all the wanted equipment. I hit up 13 pieces of equipment in my 80-minute workout and only had to wait for one to be free. And that was more because the two people using it were joking around and sitting on the equipment. None of the equipment was broken, as far as I could tell, so for those who just want a place to enter, work out, and leave, this is perfect. If you want a black card membership, I would suggest going elsewhere, at least for your home gym.

Felt very uncomfortable going to this location.Ive been over a handful of times.I just moved to Florida over 6 months ago.I set the Coral Springs location as my home but sometimes coconut creek is closer depending on what I have planned for the day .Today after 3+ years being a member I was asked to take a new photo randomly after I know for a fact I have one in the system from when I signed up more than 3 years ago and decided to end my membership for a year .When I resigned up the lady assured me my photo was there from when I signed up the first time around and there was no need for me to take a new one .Ive gone to coconut creek location and checked in numerous times never had an issue .When I went to the Coral Springs location to relocate myself in the system and spoke with the representative behind the counter that was never mentioned .I also don't appreciate the guy today calling out my name loudly in the middle of the gym especially with someone who has anxiety .It made me feel very uncomfortable and telling me its because of security reasons and that the next time id have to take a photo.So im not sure if its just this location or what or if my photo was randomly deleted which doesn't make me feel safe.And I was told another option could be taking a photo of my identification card when I don't understand when I signed up originally wouldn't you guys have that in your system already ?And I also found it weird because this is the location where the same associate helped me sign up my guest under my black card membership I was there when they made my guest take a photo and if the case is I don't have one in the system why wouldn't he have asked me to take one then ?Today I just used the restroom and walked out after this interaction because I felt too uncomfortable to stay .

The person who is in the gym office in the morning has disrespected me on several occasions, yelling and speaking rudely and disrespectfully in the showers for using the locker room, verbally assaulting me, he has entered the bathroom, he has not let me shower. He has been aggressive. Today 09/23/2024 in the morning I was assaulted by this vulgar and rude employee, he did it again and with greater verbal force for me using the locker room. I am a client who goes every day at 7:00 am. Instead of cleaning the bathrooms and showers, which are very dirty as well as the mess on the equipment. Only in the center of the office does he spend his time laughing and joking with customers instead of working and respecting. Now I don't know if he does it because I am Latino and they don't speak English well. But I have felt harassed by that man.

It's been a while since I've been to Planet Fitness coconut creek. For this particular visit, I was met with new faces one by the name of Anthony and Haley whom both are cool and down to earth! I had an issue with my daughter's teen summer pass account that was quite a mystery to solve, but they both worked as a team and exhausted all options to finally rectify the situation. I'm not sure what's going on with missing mats or other things but, the gym is clean and neat looking.Women's bathroom was nice, no weird stench!

Today at the gym one of the members were allowed to walk-in with a scream mask on many of us in the gym were terrified he was loud and obnoxious throughout his workout while he kept the mask on I cannot believe the staff did nothing sad this could have been some one wanted to do harm . Black card member and my guest was inconveniently told that he could not enter the massage room anymore. Only members, this has not been an issue since today. What there is a new rule for Black Card holders? No messages from Corp. about the change. Funny stuff, or should I call it what it is... Don't know if I need to keep this membership, what is the motivation and buddy support that I have for even going to the GYM? Bad management.

Planet Fitness Coconut Creek is a great place to exercise. They have a wide variety of exercise machines to focus on whatever muscle group you're looking to work on. The fitness center is extremely clean and the staff is always friendly. I also love the fact that is open 24 hours a day so you can get in to exercise at your convenience. I just started my weight loss journey a month ago and everytime i come in here i come in motivated happy ready to get my body rightbut these staff members here are not friendly at all i say good morning every morning and they just stand there your job is easy as hell you stand there while people scan themselves in like walmart and you do not even have a friendly face. This gym has what you need. Fairly well maintained comparable to most gyms. If you're a black card member, they are very stingy on the hydro massage beds, they cut the time down from 15min to 10mins, and by the time you get there, and get situated and clean it, you only have 8 mins remaining. They won't give you extra time. The massage chairs require tokens and they will only give them to you if you are using the chair immediately. I used to get the coins at the same time as I requested the hydro massage, now it's a no. When you finish the hydro massage, you have to come back out and wait for someone to ask, which takes more time out of my day. They tell me that people are stealing their tokens. OMG, what could anyone ever use them for other than the chairs at Planet Fitness?

If they did more cleaning and weren't a PITA about the black card member benefits, I'd give them 5 stars.

This gym is smaller than the other gyms but there's less people. Is clean and staff is friendly. Please add padded seats covers to the FIT bikes (BTW there are only 2). The seats are incredibly hard and as much as we like them we can't be on them for more than 15 min because you won't feel your bottom afterwards. Also the only 2 stretch machines are in a weird place, please put them in the back by the stretching area.

At noon on a Saturday afternoon I was not allowed to use the massage chair or any of the other member comfort items because of a 1.5 hour staff meeting. I told the manager that it was b.s. that members would be inconvenienced for a staff meeting. He just shrugged and said they've always done that so sorry.
EDIT: The club I wrote about was the one on Hillsboro. And I complained to the person who said he was the main manager of the club. So calling him would be a waste because as I previously wrote he said they've always done staff meetings on Saturday from 12 to 1:30.

I’ve been to many planet fitness centers and this the first one I’ve been to that does not have enough floor mats. There is only one hook for the mats and probably a collective of 4 mats. I had to wait over 20 minutes just to get one. Please supply more floor mats, as they are a common commodity used by gym goers.

Worst PF location I have ever been to. Anthony is extremely rude. When I asked him if there was a possibility to clean the bathrooms and showers, he said, "Don't worry about that it gets done when it gets done!" Nasty, dirty showers, garbage overflowing with used women sanity napkins. This place is unsanitary. I overheard Anthony telling another member that he will cancel his membership simply because the guy was voicing his concern for the men's bathroom and asked if someone can please clean it. This confirms that neither bathrooms are cleaned and sanitized. And threatening to cancel someone's membership who, by the way, pays for your salary to work there is poor customer service and distasteful. Corporate, please get this location together and train your staff on customer service, cleanliness, and sanitization.

The manager at this location does not like lesbian woman ! He pulled me and my girlfriend out of the bathroom and when I asked him what was wrong he refused to let me know . About a week and a half later I could not get into my app so that I can enter the gym only to find out that this manager lied on me and said that I was smoking in the bathroom in order to cancel my membership! I have videos of me asking what is wrong & why has he pulled me and my girlfriend out of the bathroom? He refused to answer but then asked me to leave when I informed him that I was recording. I only started to record because I noticed he was being very weird. I noticed that he did not like me the moment I saw him but I did not know that he would go to this extend just because he is not ok with my sexuality! I need someone to reach out to me please this is disgusting! I just realized that my membership was cancelled today! Ive screenshot this review incase anything more weird will happen .

It was my home gym before I bought a house in Margate and started going to the Margate location. I visit the Coconut Creek location because my husband still has it as his home gym, so I'd go with him sometimes. I like the wide range of equipment, where everything is located in the gym, and I like the new machines with the counters on them. That's a nice touch. The bathroom could use an upgrade and more frequent cleaning. Smells like pee all throughout. That is where the Margate location got this location beat.
