I am only giving one star because it would not let me give zero stars. Planet fitness is a scam. They will not let you create a membership in person but you have to cancel the membership in person. What is the purpose of having an app if you can’t do anything but create an account and pay them on the app. I will never go back to a planet fitness and would not recommend them to anyone. Garbage!

Planet Fitness’s customer service has pretty consistently given me a hard time while I’ve been navigating several moves, but Atticus was able to easily and efficiently help me update all of the information I needed over a phone call. He was extremely friendly, professional, and helpful. This was my last time trying to fix my issues before cancelling the account entirely due to frustration and Atticus’s customer service prevented that.

My home gym is the planet fitness of milton, this was my first time at the crestview one, it is setup differently bus was easy to navigate all the machines. Crystal the team member that was at the front counter when I came in was super pleasant and attentive, she showed us the relaxation pod that we do not have at the milton gym. Definitely will be back

I joined Planet Fitness in January. I very much enjoyed it but since school let out I have not been able to really go up there and get a good workout in. It is too crowded with kids. I’ve been having to go at 8 o’clock at night Which is not working out with my schedule. So since the summer hit, I have decided to try a different gym. As someone who travels for work, I attend many gyms and most of them are Planet Fitness.

This location was very clean, well maintained but most of all friendly.

Today I wanted to specifically appreciate Atticus at the front desk. I came in very early this morning and he was kind, friendly and considerate of my time.

My Dad ended up meeting me at the gym today and he hasn’t worked out in 30 years- and a first timer to Planet Fitness. Atticus did such a great job making my Dad feel welcome to the gym and for that- I appreciate you.

Walking into any gym has always been super intimidating for me—but today was my third visit to Planet Fitness (first time at the Crestview location), and I finally had the chance to meet with a trainer. Mike was fantastic! He was patient, knowledgeable, and really took the time to help me create a weekly workout plan that suits my goals. So I go here after going to the first gym I could not get into after 6pm because they locked the doors. I called this gym (Planet Fitness) this time prior to showing up and spoke with a gentleman and told him I was coming. When I arrived, a gentleman, was busy with a customer, but two women attendants were chatting with each other and did not see me at the counter waiting for service. When one woman saw me, she came to assist me. They all seemed to have an attitude with me even though I made sure to be extra pleasant tonight. My family members made me check out gyms, and this is why I tell my family I’d rather just walk the sidewalks vs deal with gyms and people. When I pay money, I expect to get somewhat decent service. After going to two gyms in Crestview for the first time ever in one night, I’m feeling like I think I’ll pass on the gyms.

Update: So the next day I called and spoke with a manager at Planet Fitness about my experience the previous night, and she was amazing. I ended up joining so I’m changing my stars from 2 to 4.

Vincent is the rudest person I’ve ever dealt with. I went in on the 3rd of March to cancel my membership. I was told they would not charge my account for the next year. The charge was charged to my account. I called back and talked to Vincent. He said whoever told me that was wrong and there was nothing he could do! How many people get ripped off this way? He asked for my name and I gave it to him. I asked for his full name and he said it was personal and o didn’t need it. I asked to speak to his manager and he said it would be a while. As most people do around the holidays, I was considering a membership at the Crestview PF. After reading several reviews, I can't justify spending the money for 1 big reason. There are many reviews that note the lack of cleanliness &/or sanitation supplies, broken amenities, lack of hot water, etc. The reply from PF is always advising the customer to speak with the local manager. I have 2 problems with the response. 1 - this is an example of poor customer service. Why isn't PF reaching out to them? Seems like passing the buck. And #2- I read at least 2 comments about the lack of concern by staff & management. Shouldn't this be a red flag to PF? Even if this location is independently owned, the PF reputation is at stake and I would hope there is something noted in the franchising license. Let's get on it PF!

So I've been a member since they opened in crestview I had the black card member ship well I couldn't get into my account so I made another one I go in to work out I told them I couldn't get into my other account so I had to make another one well instead of telling me they could help me or what I had to do they just took my picture and went on with my new account not knowing I was still being charged for the account I couldn't get into well the manager witch I might add is vary rude and unprofessional being she was the one I told months prior that I could not get into that account and she didn't bother even helping me or giving me info on how I could retrieve my account told me that I had to either pay the very high pass due balance on my account I wasn't even using or I could no longer come to the gym even though I paid on my new account and she is the manager she was really rude and unhelpful she was shrot with me and snappy rolled her eye when I was trying to explain she was the one I told in the being and yet now I can't work out because of a lack of wanting to help a customer in the correct way witch would of been telling me how I needed to go about recovering my old account instead of me telling her and her saying nothing took another picture and didn't even tell me I would still be being charged for a account I'm not even using any more.how do I get ahold of a distract manager or someone other then the people working in there being they either not know or they are really rude and unprofessional they act like we are bothering them.id appreciate if someone would be able to get ahold of me or give me a number or email where I could reach someone in a higher position thanks

It was my first time at this location, and I arrived early. Almost all, if not all, of the paper towel dispensers were empty or nearly out, as well as the cleaning sprays. They were not restocked the entire time I was there. While the facility has new equipment and the setup is great, my suggestion is to ensure everything is restocked and cleaned regularly. Otherwise, people may stop cleaning the machines, which could lead to the spread of infections such as ringworm, chlamydia, staph infections (including MRSA), fungal infections like athlete's foot or jock itch, and even viruses like the common cold or flu. Maintaining cleanliness is essential to avoid these health risks caused by sweat transfer on equipment. Please do better!

Ive been to planet fitness' all over the country and feel as though I have a good idea on how they all stand up to one another. So, this one... Nice new machines. Generally clean environment. Employees seem not very happy or encouraged to do a good job. I've run into empty paper towel dispensers a few times now, hair all over in the showers, and I've watched more than a few people not even attempt to clean up their sweat and swampass after using equipment- all things that should be monitored by attentive employees if they don't want this gym to turn into a smelly dirty cesspool with ruined equipment, like so many others. Blackcard area has nicely operating equipment and almost no wait to use any of the amenities. There are no hair dryers offered in the locker room, the changing rooms are across from the showers instead of connected like other newer PF's (so there's no way to undress and keep your belongings nearby), and the showers don't have particularly hot water. Wellness pod is a great addition but I'd like to see this location add a cryo-lounge. I'd love to have given this location 5 stars bc at first glance its definitely a 5 star location but removed a star for the hair in showers, no hair dryers, and lack of concern towards customers who aren't maintaining the standard level of cleanup needed to ensure the whole place won't take a turn for the worst like so many other Planet Fitness' around the country.

The management team at this PF is woefully unskilled in ensuring a clean and serviceable facility and has zero regard for the memberships' time, money, or schedule. I cannot count the times I have went to a paper towel dispenser to find it empty, entered a restoom stall to find zero toilet paper, or sat on the floor to do ab work and discover "dust balls" of dog hair blowing around the floor. I have brought this to the desk teams attention several times and filled out the email survey I received, yet the same problems persist and are blamed on high turn-over and lack of trained staff. It sounds like poor management to me, but I digress. The final straw was being informed of a "corporate" policy change that resulted in being told I would have to leave because the crocs my son was wearing are "no longer authorized" despite never being informed of such a policy change, the fact he has worn the same shoes since August 1st, and despite the fact that the PF dresscode on PF website only lists "open toes shoes and sandals" as prohibited. Crocs are neither of these, and STILL not listed on the corporate dresscode list. They have no issue pulling the money for the "Black Card" memberships my wife and I BOTH pay for, and can send the email "satisfaction" surveys continuously, but they can't send an email to the membership regarding policy changes that will result in denial of service. Poor leadership, poor management, poor customer service, poor customer satisfaction. The 6 negative reviews in the last few months regarding the same topics as my review tell the tale....

I tryed to get a membership and started to do the application on the app I did everything until we get to the payment i gave them the bank card they weren't happy they wanted an account number and routing number so they want the total control of your Bank account i don't like that i want anybody to do that because this is a total control when they decide to charge you for whatever reason they think they can charge you they will charge you because they have now the routing number and Account number if i don't wanna go to Planet fitness anymore and i wanna cancel my card i can cancel my card but otherwise you have to cancel your account or reopen new account. The Crestview gym has nice new equipment, lots of floor space, and the place is clean. I found the staff welcoming, and they did a great job keeping the place clean. The equipment was new, and there were plenty of machines, weights, and floor space for me to get my workout in. The location is great as it is near the highway. I was able to take a break from my trip on I 10 and get a workout in.

It's a clean gym, they have an abundance of machines, there a few Smith machines, alot of cardio equipment, and a dumbbell area (they max out at 75s). It's a nice gym and good atmosphere. This is a planet fitness so that's what you should expect to be walking into. If your looking for bars and normal gym style then maybe it isn't the gym for you. But it's staffed 24/7 for anyone trying to get a lift in especially just passing through.

The rudest/most useless manager. The type to make people cancel their membership. After the Lina girl said I couldn't use the gym -over a 10 day rule I'd not heard of- or she'd get fired & her kids would starve (her words), I asked for clarification since she checked me in 3 days that week including the night before, as well as every other employee almost daily, for 4+ months. She was unhelpful, passive aggressive & even started lying. The manager (short/white/pixie cut) Sophie was worse. Rude, cuts you off, overtalks & then hangs up. Said she's instructing staff to not let me in specifically, if I don't make Crestview my "home gym". I called back for her name & the employee Georgia (tall/black) decides to insert herself being very patronizing with this undertone of reproach. She couldn't grasp I wasn't interested in speaking to her nor was she a manager. Ridiculously inappropriate.The Georgia one gives attitude even just checking guest in for the black card spa as well. The gym itself is fairly clean & other staff members are hit or miss but generally not rude.

I have been a member for a year. I have loved this gym for almost a year. In the past one to two months it is going down hill fast. Today, I went to three different sanitizer stations for towels and cleaner to clean my machine and one was out of order, the other two were completely empty.

The bathrooms have toilet paper all over floor, globs of hair everywhere. Staff just standing around. When you tell them something needs refill you get told ok, and then they stand around chatting another 30 minutes before doing anything.

So annoyed that I was told to go in room 2 tanning, and they told me the wrong room. They weren’t able to restart the bed in the correct room because there was no proof. The door in the correct room was WIDE OPEN and the bed was open. You could clearly see there is no one in there. Enjoying having PF in Crestview! Always greeted with a smile as soon as I walk in. The facility is clean and there is a wide variety of equipment. If you are new to working out, you can even scan a code on many of the machines to see a demo before getting started. The VIP lounge is nice if you need to relax or soothe your aches and pains with a massage (massage chairs and hydromassage options). Tanning beds are also available with a black card membership- cheaper than any Tanning bed package outside the gym! The only thing I wish is that the bathroom had a few more places with mirrored outlets for guests to get ready..There were a few mornings several women were getting ready and had to wait. Overall, Planet Fitness in Crestview is a win! If you are looking for a local gym, I highly recommend it.

It’s a planet fitness, so rating it is kind of difficult. I wouldn’t consider it a five star gym due to lack of amenities, but if you expect a PF, then you’re getting a PF, so maybe that’s five stars to you.

No squat racks, only four smiths machines. I guess that’s fine if that’s what you expect. You can always use dumbbells for bench press and squats. Their kettle bells only go to 30lbs, which is a bummer.

Plenty of cardio machines. They even have a shoulder rower that you’d see in shoulder rehab facilities.

The stacked weight equipments have a rep counter built in which automatically resets each time you rest. That’s pretty neat. It’s been five years since I’ve been to a gym (I have one in my house) so I’m not sure if that’s a new standard or a PF exclusive.

This location DOES have red light therapy beds.

All in all, it’s a fine facility, good environment, and people seemed friendly. I hate where it’s located though since the city didn’t put a left turn at the new intersection. It’s a pain to access from the south side of Crestview.

I'm really enjoying the gym so far. I've been a variety of times from 5am- 6pm. It's always clean and I rarely have to wait to use any equipment. They have a large range of machines, dumbbells, kettle bells, trx, resistance bands, weight benches, cardio equipment, etc. There's so much I feel like even after a month I haven't used it all. I'm never bothered by anyone while I'm there. As a woman, I'm thankful for a competitive fitness environment where I can also feel safe. The lockers rooms and showers are clean with plenty of space as well. I didn't think I'd use the black card spa amenities as much as I do but they've been a great way to end a workout session and so appreciate. As a black card member I'm able to bring a guest for free. This is awesome because my husband works out with me when he can, but doesn't have to purchase a membership since it's not often. We also get to bring our high-school student for free during the summer! I love seeing the teens in the gym working out with their parents. The affordability and flexibility at Planet Fitness has been better than I could have expected.

PF is my kind of gym. Plenty of new machines & weights. All in great condition. No waiting in line. No yelling or slamming / dropping weights. AND the Black Card Spa is healthy for post workout therapy.... tanning beds, massage chairs, and wellness pod. Plus, I can bring a guest for free.

Went there this morning to workout signed up online and tried to get signed in when girl at desk pointed to scan however I tried to explain that was having problems pulling my account up she walked away and helped someone else. Then she came back and tried to pull up my number and asked me if I was sure that I was entering my phone number. She said I would have to wait to talk to a manager so I said so I’m not able to workout because you can’t find my account? An app issue She said yes I can’t workout but you are welcome to call someone tomorrow. Even though I paid online and did set up my auto pay online to be taken out of my account…so I can’t workout which I have been waiting for ya’ll to open and was told three different opening dates which I waited because I loved planet fitness but these experiences have taught me you get what you pay for!!

Yes!!! It’s finally open as of 5/18/2023. Be patient with staff they are still working out the kinks. I’m so glad Crestview Fl finally has a PF. This has been something I’ve wanted for years!!! Planet Fitness is where I first started my weight loss/fitness journey. I have since released over 100lbs!!! Great place to start and keep motivated with all the enhancements!!!

This is the second week in a row I have been at the Crestview location that was supposed be open on the 4/18/23 and it is still not open. Google says they are open but I had to call the Mary Esther to find out they pushed the open date back 2 weeks. Get it together PF. At least have accurate information online
