Staff are very polite, greets me every time I walk in the door. The only thing I would complain would be the not enough leg machines. There are 300 elliptical machines with only 2 being used. Wished they would use that space for some more leg machines. There is 1 abductor machine, I mean come on, and then people get annoyed that they have to wait. There is no hip thrust machine and the benches are always busy. I mean there’s plenty of room to add more machines and not so much of the cardio ones

Gym is fine. But once again can't use 30 min circuit room because people sitting in there on cells NOT doing circuit or using equipment in there instead of out on floor. Sign says reserved for circuit, customers don't care. Sign says monitored by staff... they have NEVER come in and checked. But then ask customers to come tell them... So I have to stop my workout and go say something? The staff is not overwhelmed with customers. Get people out of there who are not following rules and doing circuit training.

Mediocre at best. There is no mention anywhere in this PF of using your Inside Voice, wear appropriate clothes, clean machines, do not use 5 different machines at the same time, do not scream across the floor, do not use dumbbells in front of the rack, wash your hands after using the bathroom.... just to name a few. They also have too many occasions where no one shows up to open the gym at 5 am. i don't get up at 4:30 am to then drive to the gym to then not have access to get in. They never reimburse or even acknowledge these inconveniences. Also the equipment is very old.

I get it's $15/mth gym but they should at least be better when it comes to cleanliness and basic common decency. I know they can't change personalities but maybe just posting signs like most other gyms regarding inside voice, wipe downs, and clothes will register? We can hope.

Don't join here if you have very little money because they will take money out of your bank account without even telling you all different amounts and then they'll blame it on the computer automated system. I joined this gym online googling different gyms when I googled them and ad came up saying no down payment no enrollment fees only $26.45 a month to join our gym so I joined and I was going a few times a week. I'm 60 and was told that I needed to work my legs out after not working out for a while I was enjoying myself but then one day my bank account was overdrawn I couldn't buy groceries over the weekend I had to borrow money from my ex-husband to buy groceries because they pulled out 7243 out of my bank account before the weekend. I had thought somebody got my debit card and it was fraud so I canceled my card not even knowing then they tried to draw out another 5243 and then $98 another day and I was like what in the world is going on they tell me it's enrollment freeze and it's all these other fees and I said this is crazy this is crazy and if you were going to do this why would you give me a heads up you send me emails daily and text you think you would have said we're about to draw this money out so I say where is this money how do you come up with these figures so the guy says well we tried to draw the enrollment fee out of your bank account and it failed so we charged you $20 because you we weren't able to take it out that day it goes so you charge me a $20 late fee because you weren't being able to pull out the money in one day are you kidding me I wasn't even supposed to be charged and enrollment fee so that's what the 7243 was I said well what was the $98 what are you doing why are you continuously trying to draw all these different figures out of my bank account. The girl says too bad so sad for you we would have never had an ad like that in other words she was saying that I was a liar without really saying it I know what I saw whether it was some kind of scam that they have or what but like okay if you're going to take some money out of somebody's account don't you think you'd tell him the day so they send my bank information saying that we have the right to take whatever amounts of money we want to out of her account and I said no you don't so I bought them from taking any money out of my account. Now they're going to put it on my credit I called the owner the manager says that I'll never speak to the owner but I know somebody that knows him and gave me his mobile phone number so I called him and I left him a message and I left them three because each time I was leaving the message he would disconnect from me you know those phones that can see you talking or hear your voice like an automated system so he would just disconnect the call but I let him know exactly how I felt and how I feel he should fix this. Let's see if they do I doubt they will

Been a member since they opened 4+ years ago. A good experience most times. You have a couple of employees that insist whatever is on their phones is more important than greeting the members 😫. Not giving 5 stars because they don't stay open late enough for me. They're not 24/7 or 5. But my biggest complaint is a couple of transient women take over the showers and make a huge mess. One lady is showering her DOG in the ladies locker! Haven't seen her in a couple months but the lack of discretion is crazy. One lady tracks tons of mud and dirt up and down the shower area like it's her personal bath. I understand times are tough for a lot people but it's frustrating because when a man is working they can't address the situation real time.

BUYER BEWARE! I will never go to Planet Fitness again. I’ve experienced billing issues with them from the start and I’m currently owed $120 for fees withdrawn from my account by the companies fault not my own. Veronica, the manager could not be more rude or unsuited for her position. Not only was she on vacation for over a month but no one was left in her place to handle managerial duties. She could not have been more argumentative with me today, after I’ve left 3 messages for her to call me this week, only trying to place blame instead of accepting accountability. Customer service does not involve arguing or speaking so condescendingly to myself or anyone. Absolutely the worst consumer experience in my life and I will never be back. Also the issue is still not resolved and probably will not be. She had no clue what she was even looking at within my account and acted too busy to care stating “I’ll try and call billing today if I have time.” I work hard for my money and $120 in unjust fees is no small amount!! Stay away from Planet Fitness!

The rude, condescending, and pretentious female manager is totally inconsistent with the “judgment free” PF brand. A teen girl spoke to an employee before arriving about the free one month pass promotion for parents of teens who have a summer pass. The manager rudely denied that the pass exists and told the mother she would have to either pay to join her daughter (who had never been to a gym before) or download the PF app for a one day pass. They left. Turns out, the manager was wrong - the promo pass is online! This rude manager needs to pay more attention to PF’s available promotions.

The planet fitness east Delray location is one of the smallest amongst the other PF locations within the Palm beach / Broward county area. Just like all the other PF locations it is very clean. It lacks certain equipment that are found in many other locations. This location does not stay open 24 hours Monday - Thursday like a lot of the other locations do. Even though this gym isn’t big they have managed to carve out a nice space for stretching unlike the west Delray location. I was here at this location twice during off peak hours & it wasn’t crowded. I can only imagine what it’s like in the evenings M-F. If my experience at west Delray says anything, this location will be even worse 5-8PM M-F.

Top of the line equipment expertly maintained. The staff is completely knowledgeable, professional and dedicated to making sure everybody gets to their goals. An amazing fitness and wellness atmosphere but also with a friendly, family vibe. I've run a series of some of the highest in gyms, people know me from coast to coast and no my expertise in the industry and I could easily tell you that this club has the best management and the best general manager I've ever met or dealt with. The club is spotless, and as we said perfectly maintained and never too crowded to get in a perfect workout or fitness session. Classes are taught by the best of the business and if you can't get the most out of your fitness and health needs here, you need to think you're honest goals - lol

While I have just started going to this gym, I will say that I already enjoy the atmosphere & am very pleased with the assortment of equipment, the cleanliness, and overall vibe. The staff are friendly & the on-site trainer Dimitri was super kind & showed me around. He explained the 30 minute workout area in the back which is a great option if one is short on time. I have special needs due to a cervical fusion and he made recommendations that aligned with the direction of my surgeon. Something that stands out & might inspire others (i.e.like me, not in the best shape) to come regularly is that there are large signs everywhere “judgement free zone” and “Planet Fitness=no critics”. More people than you may imagine are body conscious and it can make going to the gym for the first time very intimidating. All in all, I think this is a great place where I can make my goal of losing my gut easily without feeling “less than”.

Canceled my account but they're still charging me after I went in person and signed documents they're still charging me they even said I won't be charged again. This is totally unethical, this place is such a waste. The bathrooms always smell bad and look terrible and are never cleaned properly it always just stinks in this gym and there's no customer service on the app. What a waste of my money. Reporting this gym to the Better Business Bureau and the charge as fraudulent cause I'm done dealing with them as they do not provide any resolve to the issues that they have.

This location is well maintained and clean - no overpowering funky gym smells. My one critique is that no one monitors guests using the 30 min express workout circuit as overflow equipment stations, ie. sitting at the machines while on their phones holding up and disrupting the circuit for other guests.

Planet Fitness has lots of machines, keeps fairly clean, and the price is downright cheap -- but -- the "Judgment Free Zone" is really a "rules free zone" where a fair number of members regularly monopolize machines to the exclusion of every one else for twenty to thirty minutes at a time so that nobody else can use them. There is no time limit for a machine - so - the body builders will just do set after set, sitting on the machine in between looking at their cell phone apps -- while you look for other hopefully empty machines you can just do your one or two set workout on. It's ridiculous. It's rude. It's frustrating.

The guys working the entrance counter are amazing very efficient and very positive every time I come to gym...That goes a long way because at times I come to gym in a not so good mood and when greeted like they are happy I'm here , it pivots my attitude and turns a bad day good. This is a great gym!! It’s affordable, not crowded, I can bring guests free, the spa services are included and relaxing, the equipment is always working, friendly staff, a wide variety of equipment, and very clean environment. Amazing priced membership for this facility in a great east Delray location. Some of the staff greet you with a smiling face (mostly the females) but most are in a state of glum and stand around doing nothing. The main complaint is with the lack of cleanliness, it’s been slipping day by day since it opened. Today, major cleaning was occurring at 11am-12pm whilst I was there, an entire row of treadmills up-ended with staff mopping under them with the most potent chemicals and another staff member walking around waving a feather duster. This work should be done more frequently and after hours so that members are exposed to high doses of potent chemicals. The provided cleaning bottles are great for members to clean after their use (tho some just don’t) however the paper towels are rough and doesn’t absorb moisture and is not that effective as a cleaning product. Overall a good gym with a variety of equipment, needs a little more room for stretching and if cleaning could improve it would be much appreciated. 💪🏼
