This gym is disgustingly dirty. There is dirt everywhere. The floor is covered with clumps of hair, the mirrors are full of greasy handprints, the bathrooms have filthy floors, sinks clogged with hair, and toilets stained with urine. I constantly find dead cockroaches on the bathroom floor. The bathroom doors are covered in handprints. The dirt stays in the same place for days and days, and no one cleans it. People don’t put the equipment back in place, leaving everything scattered.

The staff do clean, but they don’t know how to clean properly. When they clean the bathroom, they just spread the dirt around with a mop and dirty water. When they vacuum the floor, they only vacuum the exact spot where the dirt is, instead of doing a thorough cleaning. They never clean the mirrors. The hallway floor remains stained for over a week with spilled liquids. The water fountains are covered in layers of grime.

Although the equipment is excellent, with a great variety, and the gym is usually not crowded, the lack of hygiene and cleanliness is unbearable. My advice is for management to hire a professional cleaning company because the reception staff clearly don’t know how to clean properly and don’t seem to care about keeping this place tidy and hygienic.

Two months later – I spoke with the previous manager, but he didn’t care, and eventually he was fired. Unfortunately, the new employees seem to have adopted the same careless attitude toward the gym. It looks like a new cleaning person was hired, but the work is still not being done properly. And of course, the owner—or whoever is responsible—seems to rely on misleading reviews about cleanliness, likely coming from people who don’t actually uphold any real standards.

Guys planet fitness is the best gym ever. They don't put up with bullies and negative people. I have been in so many other gyms which I'm not going to name, I being harassed at other gym but when I come to planet fitness they don't tolerate bullies. The staff are amazing. There's one African American girl and a black dude who works there in the weekend they both are amazing. They helped me a lot with negative people and bullies. The manager is awesome. I feel peace and joy when I workout at planet fitness because they respect me and treat me with kindness. I thank God for this gym. They don't tolerate bullies. The staff always have back if I need help. The whole gym staff are awesome.

I’m a bit older now, but I’ve been in quite a few gyms over the years and this PF is up there w the best of them. The overnight staff literally gets on the ground and cleans the machines from top to bottom.
When you arrive they greet you and when you leave they say goodbye, have a nice day or something similar.
I don’t know what it’s like at 5 in the afternoon, but I’ve been here most other hours and it’s a comfortable environment.

I take my reviews very seriously, and I wouldn’t post this if it wasn’t well deserved. The changes at this Planet Fitness are dramatic and continue to impress me. Manager Carlos, Assistant Manager Sandlee, and team member Mandy have set a new standard—staff are constantly on the floor cleaning and checking machines, and I even saw Carlos personally inspecting the men’s bathroom. That kind of leadership is rare and shows how much pride they take in this club. Amazing change—keep up the great work!

Wow! What a transformation at this Planet Fitness.

Thanks to the new Manager, Carlos, and Assistant Manager, Sandlee, this club has completely turned around. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted warmly by a professional team. The difference in training and leadership is clear—staff are polite, attentive, and the whole place feels welcoming.

The gym is spotless, weights are always in place, and the Black Card Spa is fully operational and well-maintained. I also want to give a special thanks to Mandy, a trainer who went above and beyond to offer me help with my medical concerns—something I’ve never been asked before at any other location.

Having been a member in different states, I can say this management team is truly the gold standard. Carlos and Sandlee don’t just manage—they lead by example, and it shows. They’ve set a new level of quality and pride at this club, and it’s clear this location is thriving because of them.

Thank you for putting such a dynamic team in place—this is exactly what Planet Fitness should be.

This by far is not my first negative review
Today September 22, 2024 after my workout I approached the front desk so I could access the black card members area to utilize the massage chair and Hydro massage at 4:24 PM. There was nobody at the desk. There were multiple members waiting some also to use the black card area and also to purchase some beverages. The desk remained empty people came in went as they pleased no supervision.
It definitely causes a security risk for no one watching who comes in and out of the club moreover the associate reentered the club from the outside at 5:45 pm 20 minutes later hard to believe that the working associate would actually abandon his post and leave his response to myself and other members I had to take care of something
I’m very sad that you pay for black card services and you’ll have to wait and be inconvenienced, especially when the associate physically left the club. I’ve been contacted before after my complaints by the management and they promised me there would be changes. Obviously the management has not made any changes and I believe there’s been a declining services at this location. I sadly will have to look for another Planet Fitness and travel to get the level of service and professionalism that I require for my monthly payments. I truly hope someone upper management sees this and helps improve this place.

Stay clear of this club lacking supervision of their team members. The desk is unmanned had to wait and no one showed up team members walking in no one at the desk to check also previous experiences team members constantly on their cell phones, not paying attention. I have to get their attention to get service, and the level of cleanliness needs to be improved. I did return to this club after the modification and the equipment is nice but the operation of the club is lacking supervision needs to be improved switching location or going to another establishment if I pay for service I should be able to get it and not be inconvenienced , my advice until management restructures team members, and supervision steer clear

The showers at this gym are in terrible condition. Around 2pm they are constantly dirty — I’ve repeatedly seen blood on the floor, which I consider a serious biohazard. It’s extremely stressful and makes me feel like my health and integrity are at risk. The showers are never properly cleaned, and on multiple occasions I’ve even seen feces left behind. This is unacceptable. Please take urgent action to maintain the showers and protect members’ health.

I’ve been coming here for a while and ever since Carlos became the manager, the place has seriously leveled up. Couldn’t have picked a better guy—he’s always around making sure everything’s clean, working, and running smoothly.

The staff has great energy too — friendly, helpful, and actually doing stuff (not just standing around pretending to wipe things lol). The whole gym feels more put-together now and it shows.

I’m actually pretty disappointed at how filthy it was this weekend in the bathroom! The cans in the stalls were over flowing with bloody napkins, gross! Turds in the toilets for 2 days, is it a simple flush or could a sign have been hung stating out of order! Dirty toilet paper on the floor for 2 days, toilets dusty and hairy looks as tho it’s been weeks since cleaned! Tanning room had garbage bag filled next to trash can so as my lights heated I got a nasty odor! Gym bags laying in the middle of the floors where people can easily trip over them! Really is unacceptable the staff needs to work together to stay on top of things! It takes good work ethics and strong management working together to change staff.

Love this gym. It’s my favorite gym. It could use a a couple more tricep press machines and a couple more pec/delt fly machines. Other than that no complaints other than the staff doesn’t tend to the paper towel dispensers in a timely manner and the restrooms/locker rooms tend to always be unkempt. There’s 3 empty towel dispensers on the floor right now and I told the desk clerk and she just nodded and then went home after her relief came back from break. Super crowded gym that could definitely use more key equipment as I mentioned above. My only other complaint is people on gym equipment scrolling on their phones for long periods of time and not exercising tying up equipment.

Planet Fitness is truly disgusting. I've been a member of this place for a little over three years. I was previously a member of the Planet Fitness in West Palm Beach, located on Dixie. I currently go to Lake Worth and Jog Rd., and it's completely disgusting. The floor is always covered in hair and very dirty. There's almost never any tissue to clean the machines, and the bathrooms are disgusting. The guys are always on their phones, never cleaning, or even paying attention to the tissue. 😡😡😡

I’m a black card member and I went in with my 12-year-old autistic son to work out the assistant manager his name is Jordan was the worst rudest most insubordinate person I’ve ever dealt with. He was vaping when I walked in and then when I tried to speak with him he started eating in front of me and being very condescending. The next day he was walking out and I was walking in and when I left there was milkshake thrown all over my car door. I recorded the convo for proof for owner. They need to fire Jordan!

Love it! Syrah is nice, it’s always clean, machines are always available. I absolutely love the black member area. Do not join this club. I tried to renew my membership to upgrade to a black card since I am in the process of selling my house and this will no longer be my home club. I got nothing but a run around and was told I need to give my checking account information to renew. Meanwhile for the past 6 years I paid up front for a year with my credit card. Over last few months club has gone down hill. Roof leaks on six different treadmills . They have buckets throughout overflowing with water . I've been complaining to management for months about how filthy the women's rest room is and I'm told "nobody else complains about it". But now I see all these reviews saying the same thing. Ditto for the lack of air conditioning. It's hot and sweaty in there and today was triggerring my allergies.The ceiling fan in the back has not worked in 5 months. The toilets don't flush all the way and there's always one or several full of TP and/or excrement. The staff just blows me off or gaslights me when I tell them week after week. Why does management think that keeping the lights dim for the early risers is functional and will energize anyone. It feels like a warehouse like before the renovation. Turn on the lights it's a tripping hazard since no one reracks their weights!....since I can't reply to the owner I am editing my response to include my response.. Totally disgusted with current women's locker room situation. Walked into 3rd stall and stepped in copious amount of overflow/backup from drain on the floor and toilet, which has taken over 3rd and 4th stall floor. I immediately went to the desk to ask if they are aware of the situation in female bathroom and the two individuals working both said yes. I told them there is water/who knows what else all over the floor and that should be attended to and some sort of signage to caution other member to not do exactly as I just did. They told me this is something they've been aware of, management is aware of yet no sign of tending to the situation. Girl at desk even comes but to me stating, "management is considering shutting the gym down to get it taken care of." Lack of initiative from management and staff member is absolutely ridiculous to at bare minimum print an OUT OF ORDER SIGN. Human waste tracked throughout their gym, not a good impression.

This location is extremely dirty. They never clean the women’s bathroom or any other parts of the gym. I work out at other Planet Firness locations along with other gyms in the area and this one falls short on so many levels.

Overall I like this gym! Great variety of machines to use and I'm able to navigate the facility easily even when it's busy. Showers and lockers are available and an upgraded membership gets you access to some great stuff. Happy to bring this review up to 5 stars due to fixing equipment and staff being friendly 👍

Amazing clean workout , but I have to say Jean has excellent customer service.He assisted to transition back into my routine by helping me pull up my account after I lost my transponder.

Well , It's very nice and new and seems clean enough for now. I don't see employees going around and cleaning equipment like I did at forest hill or walking around making sure people are following the rules. I saw one girl working out on a Smith machine or whatever you call it with several weights on the bar and then just walk away with her water bottle and leave the gym. So the next lad had to take all the weights off so he could do his exercise. There was a couple on a chest exercise machine sitting on each other and smooching and dancing around for at least 30 minutes while the guys working at the desk are chatting with each other or looking at their phone. My wife and I always wipe down our machines before and after because there's alot of people who don't.

PLANET fitness es uno de los mejores gyms a los que he ido, tranquilo, no hay muchas personas utilizando maquinas y existe un ambiente muy profesional. Siempre evitando ir a las horas picos (5:00-9:00 pm) no habrá problema alguno en entrenar satisfactoriamente.

They had a bank card of mine on their file I never gave them. I never gave them any information regarding this bank, as I had several bank accounts. This is one I never gave them any acknowledgement of even having - yet they had my bank card. Neither have they ever accepted a "card" payment form from me, only account numbers.
The Lake Worth location, with a Hispanic female manager - or she claimed to be the manager at least, who also wouldn't give me her name, is as dumb as a box of rocks. She went in circles, never able to explain a (fraudulent) charge, nor tried to, expressed ZERO interest in problem resolution as I never gave them the "card" info they took a total of $36.24 (I'm still in the dark as to what that total was even for as I understood the yearly fee to be $49 and the monthly charge far less), I had gone once & never went back...nor have I cancelled the account, BUT no other charges have come through nor have attempted to come through for monthly fees nor the annual fees they've never taken from any account despite their "paperwork" showing I'm still a "member" from several MONTHS ago; neither from the account I actually gave them, since that $36.74 charge and the $1 charge for the trail month; nor would this manager give me her supervisor, or a phone number nor corporate or anyone higher. According to her, she's the ONLY one who can deal with this issue - yet wouldn't.
Since this company has not only knowledge of a bank account fraudulently, without my knowledge or authorization, and had my card information without my knowledge or authorization and freely took money on their own accord without accountability, it caused fear they'd use whatever fraudulent paperwork or anything else, if they decide they'd like extra cash and take again. Planet Fitness is a corrupt company that will steal your money. This isn't my first time around with this company. It'd been years. I had previous issue of them taking my bank money before, AFTER cancellation. There's a reason I sued a bank that had little fund in case they pulled the same stunt - but they got my other bank information anyways and pulled the same thing.

This is a company with zero integrity/honest employees.

For the price it's ok but not nice people in there they think they own the equipment they can spend a long time in a machine and with they cell.. so Im not going to that gym anymore and when kids are in vacation forget it they come in and set and talk and just hangout at the gym meanwhile you wait for them to use the equipment and no one says anything
