Very unwelcoming here. The staff have a chip on their shoulders. I have never experienced that kind of behavior at a gym before. I Have had a membership before Covid for years and discontinued it due to Covid. Have contacted the company personally and hope they can hire someone who is willing to give a more welcoming experience.

I've been going to this gym for a couple of years. Here's the pros and the cons.

Pros: Convenient location, lots of machines, friendly staff and it's clean.

Cons: Building is too small, air doesn't circulate properly. Machines are getting worn out.

There's an influx of people joining lately who are rude. Speakerphone conversations, a lady who is annoyed because you walked in front of her camera while filming herself, and men who think the gym is their new hookup spot. Sometimes they make it hard for you to get to machines in back corner by blocking the path and not moving for you. I'm no longer enjoying my workouts because I don't like this crowd that is coming in.

Would like it if the location was moved to a new building where there was some more space.

I’m OTR trucking. I have a Black Card membership and I’ve been to many PF locations between FL and WI. This location seems to be an older location. It’s on the smaller side, compared to other locations I’ve been to. Granted, no two PF locations are the same.
Some of the machines padding are worn.
This location still has the open floor plan for Black Card holder amenities. Newer clubs have enclosed areas for this.

There are 3 shower stalls in the women’s locker room. At first, I thought there was only one shower because there was a shower curtain across the opening to the shower stalls. I approached the curtain after I finished my workout, and started asking if any one was in the shower. I got no response, so I pulled back the curtain and I was surprised to see three showers.
Also, for those coming from a new club, there are no dressing rooms at this location (in the women’s locker room anyway). You must either get dressed in the small area within the shower stall area, by the sinks (possibly) or get dressed out in the main locker area.

I had a great 2 hour workout at this location.

The staff also doesn’t seem as friendly or engaging as I’ve experienced at other clubs. I want to feel welcomed and valued when I come in, but each visit has been met with little interaction. I also haven’t seen any management present, which makes it difficult to address these issues.

In contrast, clubs like Lake Wales or Dr. Phillips are much cleaner, more encouraging, and give a stronger sense of community. It seems that consistent management presence here could make a real difference, as even other members I’ve spoken with say this lack of engagement is the norm and claim he just in their room? Would like to see management at the desk like other clubs.

Wish they were truly open 24hrs. At least on all the week days. M-F so I can get to the gym more easily. Otherwise the staff seems friendly. I don't get why I can't take the person I brought into the spa area to get some stuff massaged or something, too, but whatever. Hydrospa is top tier! Not a horrible place to be.

Great staff, friendly service, the team cordially welcomes each guest. Cancelled my non contract membership on the 12th as to not be charged again for another month on the 17th. They told me it was too late I needed to cancel one day ago on the 11th. I told them I'm not on contract and I can't afford another month of the gym. Was told manager said there was nothing they can do, I am liable for another month still and they can't stop the future charge that is 5 days away. Being forced to pay for another month. If you don't NEED a membership don't get one.

I really like this location. If they could maybe get more equipment for glutes (hip thrust machine, hack squat machine etc) that would be awesome. Also putting more Smith machines in would be good. It's really hard to get on one after work (there's only 4 and at peak time this just cant do lol) but it's clean and the staff are really nice. Equipment doesn't stay down for too long if its out of service either. They are on top of pretty much everything at this location. My husband and I both enjoy going here.

I preface this review by stating that I’ve worked at PF, in management, and the way I was treated today is the kind of behavior that I would have been written up or even fired for in my former franchise. Today was my first experience at the north side location. I’m a regular on the south side, and up until today, I never thought once about cancelling my membership. First impression: filthy gym, no TRX, no resistance bands, no kettle bells, no 360, and all six yoga balls were deflated. Nonetheless, I was at that location to help a friend kickstart their fitness journey because he lives on the north side. Halfway through our workout, I’m approached by an employee who asked me to give him my backpack to take up front. I’m reasonable enough, and experienced enough to understand the hazards of having a bag out, but I also need my medication with me, ESPECIALLY while working out. I said that, and was met with “I need you to go explain that to my manager.” Firstly, my medical needs are private, and who in their right mind goes up to a paying member and says “go explain yourself to a manager” … ??? Unprofessional. I stated that I have rights, and he walked away. Moments later, I’m approached by another, who I assume to have been a manager of sorts, who told me that I can’t have my backpack, but I could have a fanny pack. I said, “Noted for future reference.” He simply could have stated, “Ok for today, but please don’t bring it on the floor again.” By the way, my bag is against the wall behind a bench, completely out of the walkway and really not accessible at all by anyone other than myself. Then he said, “well, you really can’t even be in here with those shoes.” Okay, now you’re just trying to say anything to get me to leave. I’m wearing Vibrams, noted athletic shoes. Look them up. My feet are covered, my shoes have soles, and I’ve been wearing these to gyms including PF for over a decade with no word up until now, nor have I ever seen or heard of “toe shoes” not being permitted inside a gym in my decade working in gyms and the fitness setting. That’s literally what these shoes are for. My friend ended the conversation by saying that we were leaving, and that he was cancelling his membership. We were escorted out by said apparent manager. I loved going to the south side. The staff was always so nice, and always working hard to keep the place clean. It’s got all of the equipment you could ever need, AND they in-fact complemented my “forbidden” shoes. 🙄 I’m truly shocked these two locations are part of the same franchise because they are nothing alike. I just joined Just Move, and I’m going in person to cancel my membership tomorrow. You all should be embarrassed at your unprofessional behavior. Complaint form to corporate: sent. Good riddance. The staff is great! Very helpful and friendly! The facility is however, on the small side. On a Tuesday night it was crowded to the point that everyone was in arms length of each other in the free weight area. Another frustrating point is how guests will use the 30min circuit at their leisure. Come in, sit at any given machine, stuck on their phones. Not at all following the flow of the stations. Completely defeats the purpose of the area and is frustrating to those who appreciate and enjoy using the 30min circuit.

Broken massage chairs, very smelly hydro massage bed, and no place to stretch or do floor exercises. Many members regularly monopolize the equipment. The worst offenders are the ones playing on our phones. The staff don't enforce the policies and are rarely on the floor. I'm tired of addressing issues with the staff. I hate to say this, but the bathroom/shower area was not only dirty, but it had the strangest configuration I'd ever seen from any PF I've visited. There are 3 showers tucked behind a very dirty purple shower curtain. No private changing area. Floors and showers were dirty. You had to disrobe behind the shower curtain in front of the 3 showers..luckily I was the only one showering at time.

My only gripe is, effective September 1st, you can only sign in through the app on your phone. Why should I have to take my bulky phone in the gym and have to carry it around with me. I want to leave my phone in the car. The gym is for exercise, not for lugging around your smartphone. Some may like this, but I hate being tied to my phone. One of the worst PF locations I’ve been to. Sadly, this one is closest to my home at the moment, otherwise I’d never step foot in it again. The A/C was clearly broken today, and not a single soul spoke of it to the members. If I had run this gym, I’d say “sorry folks our A/C is out today, but here’s a complimentary bottle of water to keep you hydrated should you choose to stay. We’re working on getting this back up ASAP”. But no one said a word about it. 4 staff members there today, not a single one doing anything productive. All of them at the desk standing around. One even reading a book. For a gym with so many things in disarray, broken, or filthy, there should never be so much “downtime” for employees. Waste of payroll. They just had a “remodel” not long ago and at least 5 machines are out of order. One cardio machine even has a bucket on it to catch a leak. Also, the cooler is nearly empty for weeks now. Never fully stocked. Take care of your facility! People pay good money for membership here, and clearly it’s being wasted on paying useless employees, instead of upkeep. It’s disappointing to say the very least. When you pair all of these issues with people who socialize and just sit on machines for long periods of time, it really makes you want to switch gyms altogether. Management should be ashamed. I don’t recommend this location at all.

Working as a truckdriver, having traveled to over 100 halls across America, I think this is the worst hall I've ever been to. It is very hot in the hall, the upholstery on a lot of equipment is worn, there is a smell of urine in the toilet, the shower is very dirty! I ask managers to pay attention to this.

Clean and equipment works. The ladies room shower/ dressing area is different than most PF I've been to. Just three showers separated by a fabric curtain from the locker room. There are two metal chairs. No individual dressing rooms. The three showers do have shower curtains, hot water and good water pressure. Open M-F 24 hours. Friday close at 9pm. Sat and Sun 7am- 7pm.

Great place to workout, especially if you're disabled. Graduated from physical therapy and got a silver sneakers membership. My wife has a black card membership, and she loves the massage chairs and the hydro massage. Several people I see have disabilitys doing low impact workouts.

They could do with extending Silver Sneakers to include the massage chairs and hydro massage as this would help out older people a lot.

The staff is always friendly and professional.
Overall, I say this is a very nice place for doing continuing physical therapy workouts.

Another suggestion would be to have special silver sneakers workout classes to encourage more older and disabled people to join.

Easy to move around with a cane or walker, the larger rollators may have minor difficulty, but they can still get to everything.

I have been forced to use my larger rollator due to my condition, and I still found it relatively easy to move around here.

I still enjoy coming here for my workouts 3 times a week

I haven’t used my subscription for over 100 days, I came in today so my mom can use the black card membership since she’s the reason why I have the membership anyways since she does not live here. I decided to cancel the membership and because they ran my checking account on the 10th of the month they won’t refund me my twenty something dollars, so petty that sucks a BIG company won’t refund a customer their money because of 5 days. Good morning, I called yesterday to cancel a membership, and the person I spoke with never told me I’d have to come in person to make the cancellation & now I’ve been charge all these fees. Which is really tough right now being the fact that I moved and no longer in that area. Called this morning & was told I can’t get a refund. When I haven’t used your gym in months. I think cancellation should able to be done over the phone just in case people can’t make it to the gym to actually cancel a membership.
