Girl with curly hair at front desk was unhelpful and unfriendly. She just kept chatting with her co worker and seemed annoyed when we asked her simple questions. I've been to so many PFs around the country and this is the only gym where I've seen lazy and unwelcoming young staff.

Dropping to 3 stars as it is Sunday 9/6/25 at 7:30am and no one is here to open gym. Several people have come and gone and no way to contact anyone about it.
Do not know the circumstances for this but should at least have a phone number to call about it.

I am a disabled veteran with a spinal cord injury. I use a walker to get around. Last night after my workout I went to shower and found the ADA handicapped shower blocked off and out of order. I asked the employee working who told me it has been that way for two weeks, and Im not the only one asking about it.
I'm hoping that planet fitness will look at this as a priority and have this ADA handicapped shower working as soon as possible. The elderly, disabled and injured people all depend on the features, extra space, grab bars, a seat and the hand held
held shower head that the ADA shower stall has to safely shower after a workout.

Horrible customer service. The manager here Caucasian girl with blonde hair. She tried refusing me access to the gym because I scanned a barcode with a screenshot that was expired because I can’t download the app on my phone. My membership is active and paid but I had an old screenshot and am not able to re download the app to take a new screenshot . She pulled up my account and clearly seen that I have a membership. I had to call my home gym and had them on the phone clearly stating that I have a membership and it’s active. She kept denying and finally said go ahead. That’s ridiculous this is actually the second time I came here and she did that. Even the people at my home gym said all she needed was my phone number to pull up account. She already had my account pulled up just wanted to give me a hard time. Also the bathroom and showers are nasty here and the soap dispenser was off the wall. Just a nasty place with nasty attitudes. When I find out managers name I will update on here.i have been to many planet fitnesses all over Georgia and Florida, this is by far the worse I’ve been to.

Place sucks super strict about even if you hit a quick pose in the mirror and had no lenience when I wore crocs because I forgot my gym shoes (I was hitting chest and shoulders so I thought it wouldn’t matter). Sorry but I agree with another poster that this was poor by PF standards. I spend a lot of time on the treadmills typically and was disappointed. Felt as if there were cracks or holes under some of the belts as it was definitely uneven ( I tried 4). Also the TVs did not to provide sound with plug in ear buds.

This specific location is where the old & bitter come to exercise. I travel a lot for work in this area and this location makes me hate working out. Trying to tone and work out while someone is standing near you and giving you dirty looks is crazy. The staff are super sweet! The women’s dressing room is HOT! Turn down the thermostat! Imagine working out and going into a sweltering dressing room…not a pleasurable experience 🤨😒

It's your basic fitness place really what else can I say? The color scheme is well thought out.... Uhh it doesn't smell funny.... Showers aren't a mess. The hydro massager is pretty cool. If you forget your locker lock, which I've done several times, so far no one's stolen which is a plus. Everyone keeps to themselves from what I've experienced.

This gym has really improved! I just recovered from hip surgery and haven't been back for some time.
There is some new equipment I'm getting used to - no problem. And I think I've figured out the best times to come. Before, I never could bet on getting on the machines that I wanted to because of the crowds. I think they still may be short on staff, and one hydromassage table needs to be fixed. But the bathrooms are clean, the people friendly, and I enjoy my time there.

Has to be the worse PF I've experienced. I usually only tan and use the massage chair. This facility has the oldest, most disgusting and dangerous tanning booths ever. Pictures included.
A broken bulb just leaning on the glass with a burnt end as you can see . The booth was filthy. How does this place stay open?

I have no interest in communicating with pf over this matter.

Just do better. Clean your gym, Maintain your gym. And I'll edit this review in your favor. For now it stands.

Overall a good gym for most people. The equipment is good even though some machines will be temporarily out of service. The crowd can be overwhelming so you have to really figure out the sweet spots of the day if you don’t like waiting on equipment. The staff is almost always friendly and helpful.

My BIG complaint is the bathrooms. They are pretty dirty and need repairs. What they really need is a complete renovation. Sinks and faucets don’t work. A few of the showers are taped off, floors are generally pretty dirty too.

But aside from the bathrooms I have no major complaints.

The work-out mats you guys use are a joke. It really does feel grimey to use them. They are shower curtain "thick", they roll and twist under you and they are a fraction of the size suitable for use. They were total garbage the day they were made, yet you still brought them in for your members. Your hours (not being 24/7) is pretty lame given this was a main selling point and promise of the Planet Fitness brand. At minimum... let's do better on the mat. I would bring in my own mat, but your policy disallows it. So the least you guys could do is provide something at least usable. I travel from coast to coast. None of the other locations I have visited are using these cheap, flimsy, dingy mats. (Most PF locations use the 1" thick cushy closed-foam mats with two eyelet holes on one end for hanging/storing.) And no, I won't be reaching out to your Club Management. This comment is the only attempt I will make to communicate this to you. How about YOU forward this to your management. I have no interest in being delegated a task to serve YOUR interests. Thank you very much.

I just cancelled my membership. The tanning beds are never working and never clean (yet they still charge you full
black card membership even when they can’t provide all the accommodation you’re paying for). Don’t be fooled by the exterior. It looks like it’s part of a run-down strip mall, but inside, the equipment is state-of-the-art. I’ve never seen Matrix machines at a Planet Fitness before, but I hope to see more of them. It seemed like all the lifting equipment was brand new. Along with the new mirrors and lighting, this was probably one of my favorite Planet Fitness locations. The only real downside is that it’s a smaller gym. However, the facility was extremely clean.

I was interested in starting my membership over and employment until I walked in and the front desk person didn't speak. The restrooms and showers are DISGUSTING. Pubic hair in all the shower drains, soap scum everywhere, and nasty sinks. I've used public portajohns that are cleaner than this facility. Who ever manages this place should be embarrassed. Down to one shower and the hot water has been out for over a month!!!! These pics are from Monday morning as soon as they opened. Just shows no one cleaned these bathrooms the night before. Currently they are down to 2 working showers and the facility has no hot water. Corporate should definitely come inspect this facility and see the filth they expect paying customers to endure. NASTY!!!!

Nice gym just not well maintained as far as cleanliness and machine maintenance. The stairmasters are always broken down and bathroom/locker rooms are dirty. My biggest complaint is the tanning. They don’t wipe down the beds or sanitize the machines after use. I’ve been tanning for over 15 years and never burned or had heat-rash. After using their bed, my entire back side broke out in a rash (not because it was hot). I asked the staff if they sanitize the beds and they said that the users wipe down the bed. There are NO signs that say the beds are not sanitized or to sanitize it yourself. I’m in the medical field and aware of all the bacteria and diseases that can spread upon contact. It completely grosses me out and so dangerous. I only do the stand up now and bring a thick towel to stand on when I go. Corporate needs to get involved w the tanning issue because this is nationwide, not just Mary Ester. I notice at all the Pf gyms I attend nationally and it’s a huge unrecognized problem. Otherwise, the gym is gorgeous, has newer machines, and has SO much potential!!

So I like the equipment that I use to do my workout. I don’t like paying every month for the black card when this planet fitness doesn’t keep up on getting the hydroponic bed fixed, it’s been a week of every month this happens and for god sake get a better massage chairs! Now I do feel like they just got them from the mall they in. They SUCK!! Please upgrade to the zero gravity version massage chairs. I just wished they upgraded soon!!
