Planet Fitness has been an excellent gym experience for me, thanks in large part to one of the staff members, Pedro. He’s always friendly, professional, and goes out of his way to make everyone feel welcome from greeting members at the door to taking the time to explain how to use equipment properly. It's a great place to work out quiet peaceful and you can cancel anytime no questions asked no hesitation and come back again whenever you feel like unlike other places did you have to write letters to the headquarters and wait for an answer while they're still charging you monthly until they respond you may have to write again but not with planet fitness great people and lots of locations

Este PF en específico siempre tiene muchas maquinas fuera de servicio por meses y el mantenimiento en los baños no es de lo mejor, las sillas de masaje o hidromasaje siempre estan dañadas, aires acondicionado en mal estado, goteando por doquier, y todos los manager que pasan por ahí siempre dicen que estan "solucionando" y no solucionan nada....pero la mensualidad y la membresía anual si te la cobran sin falta.....

The staff is amazing. The stars are because of them. A lot of the machines could use some TLC. This could be an awesome gym but a lot of the members lack basic gym courtesy. They don't wipe down machines after use, they leave weights all over the gym, and will just hold up machines doing everything but working out.

My name is Nik/Nikolina, and I recently made the Allapattah Planet Fitness my home gym for the past 3 months.

From the very beginning I was received with the utmost professionalism and warm welcome.

The location is in such a convenient and prime piece of commercial real estate for a gym! Located right along the Miami River way with all sorts of shopping, dining, and aesthetic services. I love this place both the gym and the shopping center. It is clean, not pretentious, great view of the boats, and has great security guards!

This review is specifically for the MORNING CREW/TEAM. Rashon and Jason…and of course my girls Lisbeth and the facilities team member (I never got her name).

Everyday Rashon remembers who I am and exactly what I start my workout routine with every day. He is observant, thoughtful, detailed, and professional. I have witnessed his warmness to not just myself, but to so many other members and his own team members. I never see him slack off. He goes beyond what is expected of his role. That is someone who truly takes pride in himself and his work ethic/principles. He is also humble (a rare trait these days!) which shows he is secure with who he is and how he does things. The windows to the doors are consistently cleaned, inventory always stocked, dumbbells always re-racked, cleaning supplies always re-filled. He is also exceptionally good at multi-tasking and staying cool & calm under pressure.

Jason has excellent communication skills and knowledge of the establishment. He helped me switch over from my previous home gym to the Allapattah gym. He is efficient, professional, helpful, and maintains a neutral disposition - which is such an important characteristic when dealing with so many members (especially difficult ones!) he stands his ground.

The facilities team member (I don’t know her name) always greets me with a smile and hello every morning in the locker room. She works hard and does it with such a beautiful attitude. She also has cool socks! One time I even saw her save a shampoo/soap bottle someone left behind in the shower. Instead of throwing it away she stored it in the closet in case they came back for it. She could have easily thrown it away. She asked if it was mine, I said no. I was so impressed by her REGARD. Also a rare trait these days.

The morning crew runs a tight shift, thus making a really beautiful experience for the members. Rules are enforced and the gym shines more. Strong collective.

They deserve a raise for their exemplary work ethic, united team work, and strong individual characteristics. And if they don’t get a raise at Planet Fitness I know they will certainly continue to get blessed anywhere they go.

Planet fitness should definitely consider moving to a larger space. It’s impossible to workout in this gym. On top of that, cardio equipment are 2/3rds of the total area. Customer service is good. Rating goes to lack of space and very old equipment.

Eman and Ivan are the best front desk associates I’ve ever dealt with integrity respect professional both are been coming to this location almost for two month and they very accommodating and warm towards their guests at the gym their customer service skills are top notch 100% thank you both for the best experience and being so hospitable
