Very nice gym super clean the night staff guy is always super nice the other day during the day the “manager” with curly hair questioned me twice about “”tanning “ me and my wife are both black card PF members and I asked can I use the tanning stand up for ten mins . She proceeded to say is it for u or for her ? referring to my wife I said NO it’s for me . She proceeded to say are you sure it’s for you cus I see your gf waiting over there? I said excuse me ? Who are u to question me after i told you it’s for me . She insisted it was for my girl and basically called me a liar. If it was for my girl she would of used her membership herself as she is a Black card member as well. You can ask me who’s the tanning for that’s fine but once I say it’s for me u have no right to assume and question me it’s for someone else. super unprofessional. then when I called her out on it she told me “I can leave “ super rude idk how she’s the manager. After the incident happen I told her I was gonna write a review and let the supervisor know and then she had a bunch of frienda write her good review cus she knew she was wrong love this gym but not the way were were treated that day

Hi Good afternoon, Name is Brian..

I love this planet fitness location until today..
Today me & my husband got to the gym around 7pm, the two attendants at the front desk made a rude judgmental comment on what i’m wearing. I walkled, scanned the bar code.. once i started walking towards the bathroom the tall guy with the baby mustache made a comment with a short girl who i thought was a nice girl. But i was wrong! the comment he made was “ Why is he wearing a sweater, it’s not even cold outside, he should changed his clothes” Mind you, all planet fitness locations state inside “ No judgement free zone” Yet again we’re being judged by two planet fitness employees.. Why are they assuming it’s because of the cold? Most people there go with sweater to help them with their exercise. It made me feel so insecure.. Once i finished, i walked out the guy started laughing looking at me. You don’t do that… how can i file a complaint. Who’s the manager there? They need some professional training & to learn to keep their comments to themselves. The music wasn’t loud. I heard everything….Not COOL

This location is very clean and organized. You won't find the equipment liying around the place, everything is in its place. The staff is very helpful and nice. They only have lockers with locks, no combinations like other locations, so you have to bring your own lock. Also they don't have a Total body enhancement machine, but thwy do have all the medicine and workout balls. All in all a great gym.

I’ve been a member of your gym on the Trail and 84th Ave. in Miami for several years; if you keep records of the questionaries that I have answered in the past, you will see that I have always given excellent reviews in mostly everything. This time though, I feel the need to bring to your attention something that has and is bothering several people including myself for some time.
As I understand it and according to signs posted on the walls, private trainers are not allowed to bring their customers for training purposes to this location.
In spite of that, there is one such trainer that comes with several customers practically every day. In addition, she and her customers “pick” the different equipment that they intend to use and spread it out in an area also using benches to “hold” their equipment and for long periods of time no one else can use their equipment or the area where they are working out. If this was not enough to upset other members, this lady has a bad attitude and if other member try to take any of the equipment they have, even if they are done using it, she will not allow anybody else to be in “their” area either.

I love this gym ! it’s always very clean, organized, has a great atmosphere, and the staff is friendly. BUT… they should add more Smith machines and expand the free weights and dumbbell area. It’s a gym with too many people, and the Smith machines are always taken — sometimes you can’t even use them. Especially during peak hours.

Meanwhile, more than half the gym is filled with treadmills and other cardio machines that just take up space because they’re empty most of the time. Even during the busiest hours, there’s a huge crowd around the Smith machines and the weights area, while the cardio section is practically empty, and it’s a massive area.
