If you’ve tried other gyms and found them to be messy or with an unfriendly staff, try this planet fitness. It’s a pleasure to work out at this location. The machines are excellent, well maintained, the whole place is spotless, including the bathrooms. In most gyms you’d rather go to an outhouse than use the bathroom, here they would give the bathrooms at your house a run for their money. Carilin, the manager and her staff ensure that your workout is safe and pleasant, no plates scattered everywhere and the customers see that and comply with proper gym etiquette. I highly recommend it!

Disrespectful behavior from the manager at this location

I work at a restaurant in the same plaza as this Planet Fitness, SUSHI SAKE and we recently had a very unpleasant experience with the manager from this gym. She came in to order food and began yelling at one of our servers over sauces that she never actually ordered. Even after we offered to give her the sauces free of charge, she continued to raise her voice so loudly that all of our customers could hear.

What made the situation worse was that she told our manager that she should be rude since she’s in charge — meanwhile, the Planet Fitness manager was the one behaving that way. That kind of attitude is completely uncalled for, especially from someone representing a business.

Four of our restaurant employees who are members at this Planet Fitness have decided to cancel their memberships after witnessing how their manager treated others in the same plaza. We believe managers should lead by example and treat those around them with respect.

For my first time going to the gym, planet fitness did not disappoint! The staff is very friendly and helpful. The manager, Cari/Carline, was sweet and helped me get set up with a personal trainer named Julio who was also very kind. The place is clean, and while it is not very big, there are still a lot of machines and I really like it. Plus, it isn’t very crowded. I really recommend going to this planet fitness. The location it’s in is also a pro because there is a laundry, a beauty, a nail place, and food places like jalapeños and playa bowls (there’s more places but those are just the ones I can name off the top of my head). Parking is also free!

I used to love this gym, but after the renovation I’m not happy. They removed the 30 minute workout (streetlight) section which had very good machines, now there’s less machines and the layout of all the machines is confusing and messy. 2 different leg machines will be on opposite sides of the gym now. And now there only 4 elliptical machines. After going for the first time after the renovation, I lost interest in going again.

Just wanted to make a quick review on the management at the Planet Fitness SW 104 st Location. I usually don’t give reviews but had to share my positive experience each time I walk into this location Manager, I believe her l Name is Caralin, Always has a positive demeanor. Always very professional and willing to go out of her way to help all of the members. This places last year was very clean they have one guy vacuum every day and one woman mapping every day now no vacuum the woman only one day a week mapping this place also no tv for the last 3 months you ask the staff and they said they reported to corp but corp don’t send any one to fixed machines need repair the come month after to fixed we was with only one a/c for months we are a group of almost 16 and we thinking in going to another gym if this on continue like this we need some one cleaner like before special the bathroom I don’t recommend any one ,

Planet Fitness I am truly grateful for your business. I recently became homeless and living out of my vehicle. My daughter told me about how Planet Fitness opened up their Gyms to the families who lost their homes in the California fire’s which I was amazing. Had a bad issue with Planet Fitness. Really tried for 45 minutes to speak to someone rather than just complain online. But equipment breaking while I was using it, injuring me, made far worse by callose and lazy management who didn't apologize and put the equipment back in such a way that the next person to use it would get injured.. Tried speaking to the manager, turns out the person who didn't care was the manager on duty. When I tried to speak to their supervisor, I was told they're unreachable. Tried speaking to corporate, they direct you to a link on their website with an error message. Waited on hold to speak to member services. They kept me on hold for 30+ minutes with the automated message telling me to recontact that same incompetant local manager.

If you like social gyms go here. i bailed 1/2 way thru as same 2 guys were on the only leg curl and extension machines for 25 minutes and counting. Playing with their phones most of the time.

I have gone to this gym for 3 years and generally was a good experience. I recently started using another gym and would not come often to this PF gym.
My problem here is the process of cancelling the membership. I called them and a girl answered the phone (I wish I had gotten her name), I asked if I can cancel my membership and she said I would have to “come in person and sign some documents.” I said “Okay, I will come right now to cancel it” I live less than 10 minutes away from the gym so it was no problem to go in person. I drive there and enter the gym. I see the girl and greeted her and asked if it was her that I spoke to about canceling my membership. She said yes, but then adds, “Oh but the manager just left” and that she was not allowed to cancel my membership. When she told me that I asked her again, “Was it not you that I spoke to on the phone?” And she said “Yeah”. A complete waste of my time and lack of consideration. This was clearly done on purpose so I would not be able to cancel the membership and continue paying. I had to call my bank and explain the situation in order to stop the payments.

El peor gym que he ido la gente tarda una hora en las máquinas hablando por teléfono los baños huelen mal siempre va gente que no hacer ejercicio en los baños bañándose y desnudos hoy cancelé mi tarjeta negra por lo mismo me cansé de ir a perder mi tiempo y de paso la manager solo cancelo no me preguntó cómo podía ayudarme lo peor de lo peor

This gym is probably one of the worst gyms I've been to. The staff are really nice and they try their best, but the patrons are completely disrespectful of the place. People leaves dumb bells and plates around. People leave their used paper towels everywhere. The bathroom is disgusting. I feel that staff should pressure the patrons to re rack and clean after themselves. We're all adults here and we shouldn't have to be cleaning up after other people. The gym needs to be bigger for the volume of people that it services. The parking lot definitely needs to be bigger. I only come here out or convenience.

The restrooms are very dirty. The gym showers aren’t clean and they have sticky candy and clumps of hair in the shower drain area. I would avoid this place at all cost.

One of the smaller PF locations I’ve been to, but they make good with the spacing of their machines. Most of the machines are in working order and the location in general is one of the cleanest PF locations I’ve visited. Staff is attentive and nice (:
