Noah does not care if you live or die. When they double bill you, taking your food and gas money (all the money you have left so you have no more money at all and because they took the gas money, no way to make any money) he gives you a lecture. I have pointed this out to God and cried out psalm 109 to God against Noah the manager for his evil callousness. Alyssa thinks that rudely hanging up on members is ok. Also, This planet fitness is extremely judgemental with no end to the hatred for any planet fitness member that parks in the parking lot by planet fitness that is tired from working on their feet for many many hours, works multiple jobs, drives there from work, and wants to take a nap in their own car before they get a hydromassage. They despise anyone who sleeps or appears to be sleeping or is simply in their car for more than fifteen minutes making a phone call, and then they call the police on their own planet fitness members that might park in the planet fitness parking lot. In addition, if for any reason you need to be laying on your side instead of on your back on the hydromassage and you wand to meditate during the massage, they are very nasty and hateful to you, all while having huge signs up saying that is the "no judgement zone". You need to know that if you plan on making a phone call to take care of whatever administration situation for work or whatever and it lasts more than fifteen minutes while you are parked in the planet fitness parking lot (they also don't want you to be on the phone in planet fitness) then they will call the police on their own members parked in their parking lot. You have fifteen minutes to get out of your car and into planet fitness or planet fitness calls the police on their own members. It does not get more judgemental than that. So, no, I am not able to recommend this planet fitness in any way. So many staff members here are so, so evil, and the nastiness is too much. I don't know where they got such a nasty hateful judgemental attitude. They judgementally demand that their own tired hardworking members with aching feet from working for many hours park in the Walmart parking lot and take a long walk to planet fitness instead of just parking in the nearby planet fitness parking lot. How very, very nasty of them. ....Also, Planet Fitness is ok with force-billing you twice a year for the supposed once a year annual fee, and planet fitness is ok with force billing you twice a month for the supposed once a month membership fee. If you so much as politely and quietly say anything about this monetary brutality, they let you know that although you paid for the membership, unwillingly, you are not allowed to use the membership and you are also not allowed to have a refund. .. P. S : Psalm 109 applies to those who afflict anyone who may be poor....

Bruh this has to be one of the worst PFs I've been to. High-traffic machines are low in quantity, so you're always waiting, many machines are often out of order or poorly maintained, and even some of the paper towel repositories don't always work. But, it's all about the convenience, and—despite all of that—the location and the 24 hour availability still makes it a solid choice.

Might be the worst gym experience I’ve had … It’s full of people sitting there doing nothing and taking up space … way too many things broken or off the tracks … just a lot of people there in the way … bad atmosphere in there at night … smith machine way too close to the wall and the newer models are very shaky … the people in there after 5 are there just to hang out and the kids workout for free is a terrible business move

Needed to quit. Management at 24th street in Ocala gym has an ego on people. I’m good with that. Plenty of other places to go exercise without worrying about management braking into a man’s locker for no reason at all. So for that reason I quit and loved going there. Planet Fitness has built its reputation on being a welcoming and non-intimidating gym, but my recent experience shattered that illusion. What should have been a simple workout turned into a humiliating and unsafe encounter that left me questioning the gym's commitment to its members.

I was at the end of a workout in the 30-minute circuit and a man came walking in and sat at the next station I was going to. I politely asked the guy, who had taken a machine in the middle of the circuit, to move so I could finish my routine. Instead of a courteous response, I was subjected to a barrage of insults that made me feel not only humiliated but also unsafe in what is supposed to be a supportive environment.

In an effort to de-escalate the situation, I sought help from Noah, the manager on duty, hoping for some intervention. However, my hopes were dashed when Noah refused to take any action. His inaction only compounded the humiliation I felt, as it became clear that the staff was unwilling to uphold the gym’s supposed values of respect and safety. Instead of creating a judgment-free zone, the atmosphere turned hostile, leaving me feeling vulnerable and unsafe.

This experience was not just disappointing; it was deeply unsettling. The refusal of staff to address such blatant disrespect and aggression is unacceptable. Planet Fitness needs to take a long, hard look at how they handle conflicts and ensure that all members feel safe and valued. If the management continues to turn a blind eye to such behavior, it undermines the very foundation of what they claim to stand for. Scott, the head manager, needs to take responsibility for this unacceptable chain of events and make it right.

This place would be so much better if they actually made people follow the dress and conduct instructions. It's ridiculous seeing people working out in sandals and socks or just socks with tiny sport bras.
Oh and the other thing is that people are not cleaning the machines when they finish using them and sweating all over them. I've had to say something to people when they leave and I come back and the machine is all sweaty.

This place of business discriminates against the homeless I myself never caused any trouble nor panhandle anyone I pay 27$ in monthly fees just like everyone else depending on the membership abide by their rules and respected their place of business. Opd claimed The property manager was trying to rule out our homeless people or people that stayed overnight or long periods of time being that this place of business is open 24 hours. Doesn’t make sense. They said it’s private property and one night I was sleeping in my car minding my business per usual and woke up to A police officer banging on my window with a flash light in my face Stating that I couldn’t sleep in my car at night because the property manager wants all Homeless people to be removed and I got trespassed From planet fitness this location just for sleeping in my car I have no where to go I can see if I was a problem but I wasn’t. People don’t have compassion for human beings anymore that could be you or anybody else on anyday I could understand if I was being a disturbance or getting in the way of their business, but this wasn’t the case. the economy sucks. And everybody situation is different, but how dare you guys trespass the homeless? Especially the ones that don’t bother nobody Mind their business stay to their selves I will no longer be going to this location Which I can’t now smh. I wouldn’t recommend it. I know several elderly homeless people that would even hurt a fly, and they also had them to be removed As well.

I don't exercise as much as I'd like, but I do it when I can. All the employees are very friendly, and the entire gym is very clean, from the shower to the black card area. There's a small area for trucks and trailers. It's better to park at Walmart, Bobtail only.

I called to cancel my membership because I’m out of state on a family emergency. I called and supposedly the store manager is Alicia. She is very rude. I got hung up on three times. I asked to speak to the store manager she told me she was, and there was nobody there, but her and she was the store manager I asked for corporate’s number she told me to Google it and hung up on me. I called the Summerfield location and spoke to the district manager and the regional manager. The district manager walked me through on how to cancel online. I think they need to fire everybody and rehired decent people with customer service.

Why is the bathroom a bio-hazard? Bandaids all over woman's restroom, dark substance on floor in changing room, looked like 💩. The shower curtains looked like they have 💩 markings and haven't been cleaned in months. All the showers have build-up of what looks like mold and mildew, and disease. Smell is horrendous. Mirrors and shelves in changing rooms haven't been cleaned for what seems like weeks. Only one of the soap dispensers work in the bathroom, and the toilets are usually dirty with some type of brown and yellow substances.

Totally unacceptable for a health facility. Come for better health, leave with an infection.

The bathrooms need a severe professional deep cleaning, with routine maintenance.

The equipment itself seems fine, but some are dirtier than others.

There's a lot of equipment options, which is amazing, and they're open 24 hours, so I have to come here when the other one in Ocala is closed. I do like the different work out areas, tons of space.

I've been to 4 PF's in the past 2 months, and this one has been the worst with cleaning.

Can we please make this place healthier, please clean, it's not that hard. That's KIND OF YOUR JOB!

I have a membership here. I will be canceling when I leave Florida in October. My husband is actually a bodybuilder. 95% are nothing like you lead people to believe. All groups have A holes. For a place so "inclusive" it sure is not inclusive and judging another group. Litterly go to a bodybuilder gym. No one cares and no one looks at you/judges. They are too busy doing their own thing. This is Planet Fitness as a whole not just this one. Not a great look guys for being "non judgment" and "inclusive" I'll ride this out til October then cut it off.

I usually love working out at my local Planet Fitness and the employees are always super helpful and nice! This past week I came to workout and one of their new employees, I wish I caught his name but it started with a C, was very rude and made me feel unwelcome. He looked very young and when he spoke I swear I thought I smelled alcohol from him…Insane! Planet Fitness we need to get this handled immediately, I am very concerned and unhappy. I’m originally at the Gainesville location, however this Ocala location is it! Very spacious, friendly staff and it’s clean. Doesn’t matter if I come at 3 am or 5 pm, I feel safe here and everyone is very nice. Only con about this location is they need to constantly keep those bathrooms clean, especially the shower areas. Their tanning beds are horrible. U can see they don't change thier bulbs. Two bulbs were burnt out in the stand up. Don't get warm even. I stopped using them. If I'm going to damage my skin, then my ass better be brown as a berry! They massage chairs are awesome tho. This is one of the better commercial gyms in the Ocala area that I believe exists. I have tried out a few and some are just over the top expensive for no reason. And then others have no like self-respect in the whole place as a mess. But here at the planet fitness. Everything is clean. The people that are working out there are actually cleaning up after themselves. You're not getting to another machine and noticing that it's just drenched in sweat. Also everybody in there seems pretty kind. I haven't met a person yet. That is just a rude or off the walls. The staff too really goes out of their way to make sure you even enjoy your experience at the gym, whether you're a full paying customer or just a guest of the black card member. They make you feel welcome and help you get done what you need to get done. And the black card benefits there are amazing. They have the massage chairs, a water bed. That's also a massager and a total body transformation all of which are in working order and clean. And unlike some places, they have quite a few of each, so there will always be something available for you. If you want it to be something very specific, just plain like 1015 minutes ahead of when you plan to be on it to reserve it. I'd like to go over reserve it and then finish out my last letter too.

I've only had my membership for probably about 2 weeks now. It was something I was going to do with my child. You know to bond or whatever. And the other day that we came here there's a sign on the wall that read children under 13. Cannot be left unattended. Okay. Well I seen that's fine. So naturally I asked the guy that was there which is the same guy that was there today. But anyways I asked him what that meant He said that I couldn't leave a clhild under 13 alone to run rampant which I totally agree with and understand and my response, was like okay cuz I have a child that's under 13 that would like to come You know come and bond and spend time with me and come here while I work out. You know she'll probably just play on my phone and he said oh okay so I drove 40 minutes out this way with my child. Two of them one is over 13. One is under but it wasn't a 2-year-old or a 5-year-old or even a 6-year-old. Okay. She was older and I walk in the door and I don't get greeted with Hi how are you? First words out of their mouth was are you planning on working out? I said yes. They said she can't be in the building and I said, but I asked last time I wouldn't just bring my child to you without asking first. In fact, the guy that I asked was standing right there. He was actually the guy that was very nasty with me. Anyways I was like but the sign says. Children under 13 cant be left unattended. It doesn't say children on the 13 are not allowed here and he was like well. Children under 13 aren't even allowed in the building and I said the sign doesn't say that he says it's implied read. Very nasty with me. The other guy that was there even after I went off was somewhat nice. Even when he gave me corporate's number. The other guy kept arguing with me in front of my child and my other child actually walked out cuz she was pretty upset now I most certainly understand that people have rules and I respect that and everything. But when I ask about a sign and I also ask permission if my child can come and I am told yes and I'm told something totally different and that drive all the way out there to be greeted with attitude and even after I ask for corporate he's still carrying on. Am I going to say I was a picnic? No I'm not. I was nasty I was mean and I was upset. I probably will not be going back and will be canceling my membership. And just to clarify, I also called several other people to see what they thought that sign meant that I read and they said the same thing that I was told by a planet fitness employee that a child under the age of 13 cannot be left alone to run rampant that they need to be with an adult at all times. If children under 13 are not even allowed in the building, it should say that you know I'm just going to go take my buisness elsewhere. There's other gyms that offer daycare and also offer you know classes for actually youth. I do however think that one man should not be working with customer service cuz number one. I do have learned disabilities and the way he spoke to me like I was stupid is very uncalled for. Plus my veteran husband also has some disabilities too and we don't like it when people talk to us like we're stupid

Being full time travelers we have visited dozens of Planet Fitness locations. We visited this location 4 times in the last 3 weeks and still the same issues. Employees standing around gossiping while customers waiting to use their Black Card benefits. Me personally, 3 out of our 4 visits. Does this facility have any health code accountability ? The showers are filthy. How often do they get cleaned? Reason I ask is the 3rd shower stall in the men’s room has had 2 bandages on the floor for our last two visits. The lady in the yellow shirt around 12:45 today, takes the cake! You know, the one getting a divorce, because her ex is leaving her for an “only fans” chicks. Ask me how I know this.

This review is from the perspective of a gym goer/athlete who is a frequent traveler that has memberships at and visits Planet Fitness/EOS/ Golds gyms all over the country. This is what (I would consider) a typical Planet Fitness gym. Clean with often times broken equipment. This gym however enforces a silly no bags on the gym floor policy. That just doesn't work for moderately serious athletes. We require quick and easy access to equipment and accessories required for our workouts. If you're a gym user who requires access to your accessories avoid this gym at all cost.

Visiting the gym from out of town. This gym is nice, equipment gets a 5 and staff was very friendly also a 5. I gave this gym 4 stars because the mirrors in this place SUCK!! None of them are in front of the cable machines and they are square framed mirrors. Lose the frame and run the mirrors the light of the gym so you can see yourself when working out. Only one star for this particular Planet Fitness because they need a lot of work in terms of maintenance, cleaning and operation of the indoor and outdoor machines. I went today for the first time and it was a bad experience, even the ceiling fans are not working properly. They should follow the example of the one at the Seffner branch.

This gym isn't bad, the biggest issue is that staff are not paying attention to the people on the floor and how there is a lot of folks using 2 and 3 machines at the same time.

Another problem is when they do the whole summer free for school kids it's mostly full all the time with kids that are just talking in the machines without using them.

Went with a friend to try the gym here for the first time and as soon as we park we are harassed by the vagrants who were sleeping in there car smelling like cat piss with no cat in sight screaming and yelling at us. We then informed Noah of the situation and he told us it was “ we needed to contact security it was our responsibility to handle the issue with property security not planet fitness “ so if it is my responsibility to maintain a clean,safe ,homeless person sleeping in the parking lot in front of the store environment then I will do so else where and I will not be starting my membership here. I would also like to add the lack of care in any regard by all of the staff including management I believe his name was Ivan. All rude. Waste of time.

This gym used to be excellent but in the last year homeless people have taken over the parking lot trashing it begging for money then the employees let them in the black card area and the gym for that matter with out checkin in I pay $57 a month for two people plus yearly dues for black card membership and can't even relax in the lounge area cause the homeless are sleeping on couches and have all there stuff plugged in the fill 2 gallon jugs for the van they live in they never check in use up the bathrooms and showers so I work hard and pay my membership to not enjoy everything and where is it fair to the members who pay money every month to just watch staff members allow them to post up inside not have membership do what they want and chill out inside ac and use stuff people pay for the management don't do anything about it they allow it so I guess it's ok to cancel my membership and continue to feel free to come and walk in cause a handful are already doing it.. this is not right for people who actually pay for membership an corporate needs to step in and watch there staff.

Well I had a good review of this gym up until recently I love coming to this gym me and my wife are both Black card members shall we pay for the best membership you can have here because we want to be able to use everything but now the homeless people that live in the parking lot aren't even checking in at the desk they're letting him walk right in whether they have a membership or not they're in the showers for an hour and a half filling up water jugs and everything else when other patrons are trying to use them showers too you'll sit in the lobby they've got every outlet with all of their stuff plugged in so they can charge it up as of this point it's got an absolutely ridiculous I didn't mean while the next day you'll see him out there on the corner with a sign begging people for money and yet one of them works at Walmart and still lives in the parking lot I'm not trying to be rude or anything else I understand everybody has a hard time petition be at the expense of people that pay good money to be members here

Stopped in this one today…cleanliness was abysmal and men’s room was totally out of TP which I found out at the worst time. Staff was chit chatting at the front desk while the fountain water filter was needing replaced, paper towels were all over the floor near the weight machines and even stuck in between the weight plates. All of the trash cans were overflowing. 0/10 would not recommend this dump. I hope I don’t catch ringworm from such an unsanitary cesspool

A very rude and unwelcoming place. I've seen the staff harass a guy in the locker room whose only crime was he was moving too slow trying to put on his clothes even though he repeatedly told them he had a work injury, and please be patient they called in more staff and told him he was escalating with them. And eventually kicked him out. I was there the whole time even before he came in and did not see any issue. It breaks my heart to know a corporation can just let staffs get away with this. Might be one of the worst companies in the U.S. Will look for other gyms.

Pretty good location makes it convenient for shopping and food before or after. Normal selection of machines, although they are broken more than some other locations I have been to. It can get incredibly busy here. Staff is ALWAYS friendly, greets with smiles, and helpful. Do wish they had combo lockers for keys, etc.

If I could give this place an negative star I would. Rude employees, no customer service what so ever!! Do not care about paying customers. Lack of respect of belongs I just started my membership within 3 days in and already experience horrible service. I have a video how I was treated by their supposedly assistance manager
