I consistently have great experiences at the Orlando (Chickasaw) Location. It is aways clean, well equipped, and the staff, lead by Dreysen, is always professional, friendly, and fun to talk to. Andrew and Ski are so much fun. I always feel welcomed and like family.
I travel all year and visit 45 PF clubs throughout the U.S. and this one is absolutely my favorite.

When I am in O Town visiting family I will sometimes stop here and get a nice workout. Enjoy their laid back vibe and friendly employees. A nice Publix is next door. The massage chairs are much appreciated. No frills and never crowded for the times that I have been here. Smaller than some of the other PFs that I go to but it is still an ample size gym with lots of my favorite equipment such as the rower. Clean and well kept gym. Thanks!

I could see why it’s a little low, nobody really cleans their own machines, some of the machines such as the older treadmills feel off, service is a little low, and 2 out of the 4 hydra massage beds don’t work, it’s nice that it’s open 24hrs as a last resort gym, but not as a main one

The best $15 a month gym around. If you're looking for lots of unnecessary equipment and loads of beautiful people, this is not the place for you. The best time to go is in the morning, the evenings can be miserably crowded. Friendly and helpful staff. Checking in by app on your phone avoids delays.

Only noted on two of the vents in last review. Usually all four is covered in mold and usually one or rarely two of them are cleaned up. Not the best for those with respiratory issues possibly so just be aware.

Not a bad place if you need workout equipment for the most part. Most often than not, they have machines broken way to often and not maintained or checked enough. The bathroom is a mess and half the dispensers for paper to clean break or the spray bottles are horrid and they do not repair or fix things well. On top of it, their main a/c vents that are older are covered with mold from the moisture and looks as though they have never cleaned it ever. It’s on two of their bigger vents. So if you have breathing issues or sensitivities, avoid it until they clean it.

I’ll delete this review if they make appropriate changes. This is just unacceptable.

Every time I come to my “home” gym most machines are down. Plumbing keeps being a big issue. Went to ask the manager something and this poor new girl had no idea how to help me. The assistant manager told her I can leave a bad review. Why would you willingly want that? I’d take pictures but I’m not a creep and don’t want the other members to feel uncomfortable. I could leave bad reviews for two other locations but seems like most locations don’t care. Take better care of your facilities. Or stop charging $26 for amenities we can’t use. Getting kind of silly.

There was a moment where a guest was inappropriately invading my personal space - to put it politely - and when I communicated the indecent to the front desk members (Yamir and Christina) they immediately took action and the way they treated me during that moment of tension and discomfort really made me feel taken care of and understood. They called their manager over the phone, who quickly answered (+ on their day off mind you) and made sure that individual wouldn’t be allowed in the gym again to prevent further incidents and disruption of the peace. They acted without any hesitation and honestly I was nervous to speak up from the gross discomfort of it all but they reassured me and thanked me for feeling comfortable talking to them about what had happened to me.
Not to mention every time I come in the bathrooms have been close to spotless and the machines / spaces I use personally are always clean as well - no matter the time of day I show up.
Thanks team - I’m proud to call this my new home gym !

This is a pretty good Planet Fitness. They’re really up on their hygiene. Keeping the place clean organized and running well. The machines could use a little TLC, but that’s to be expected from heavy usage. They have one of the better black card lounge areas out of all Planet Fitness.

While this gym maintains good equipment maintenance their staff that works the 10pm and on weekday shifts is terrible. This guy does not wash his hands when he leaves the rest rooms and he walks around talking to himself. He will literally walk up to your equipment while you are mid reps and just stare into the nether 3 feet from you while talking to himself. He never cleans and there are always at least 4 paper towel holders that are empty and he just does not fill them, electing to instead be on his phone or hide in the back room.
My most recent issue is that the gym used to maintain a variety of shows on all their tvs with only one or two channels repeating on another television, but now they have at least six of their televisions streaming fox/fox News and it seems like they are trying to just push a Trump heavy agenda at this gym.

I have been going to this location since April 2024. They have great staffs and clean facility. The only thing that disappoints me is a long time to replace damage pad. I have reported the damage pad for this abs equipment before Thanksgiving of 2024. It is Jan, 2025 now and it’s still not fixed!!

I came back today, Jan 30th, 2025, after taking 2 weeks off and it’s still not fixed. Please see the attached pic that I took this morning.

I’ve come here for years but cannot any longer. I reached out to Planet Fitness about a concern I have over a month ago now, and I have not heard back. For a few months, I’ve been noticing an increase in suspicious persons at the gym. First of all, I’m not talking about the homeless persons who come in to use the showers; they're not breaking any laws, so there’s zero issue with it. What I am talking about is actual suspicious persons: people who do not appear to be wearing proper gym attire, footwear no less, and they are either on the machines dillydallying (feigning use), looking around, or standing around. Many of them have backpacks. On one day, the day I reported the observation, a young man was dressed in all white business-casual attire and intermittently raised his shirt to reveal a white band around his chest (appeared like a medical wrap, although he did not behave as though he was injured or hurt in any way). This has caused a great deal of unease for me and likely anyone else who is alert in these times. We don’t know if they’re there to properly exercise or conduct surveillance for a future event. It used to be where terror attacks were planned on a large scale, but tactics are changing. Small scale attacks tend to throw a culture off more and create a sense of unrest, and this is where it seems things are going. All public places have a responsibility to ensure the safety of their patrons, and not only will this facility not reply to my concern, they do not even have cameras. I urge everyone to please be vigilant in the times in which we are living and to report all suspicious persons to the employees. I’ve been coming to Planet Fitness for years and have thought all of the staff are very nice. Unfortunately, we no longer have the luxury of a safe homeland, and we can no longer expect attacks to be solely on a large scale (and therefore not happen to us).

Absolutely love the team and environment at the Planet Fitness at Rio Pinar on Chickasaw in Orlando. It's so common for gyms to be intimidating and filled with outdated or broken equipment, but not this one. This location is always clean, there's tons of equipment to choose from, and it just feels really comfortable and welcoming. The front desk is also super nice, especially Dreysen, Andrew and Ski. I've been to other locations before, and this is by far the best one.

Staff follows good sanitizing protocols. Not very crowded during my work out schedule. Parking can be a challenging around meal-times because of popular neighboring restaurants. I like the super convenient hours and the ability to use my Black Card membership to bring in a guest every time I visit. My main complaint is that every time I use the 30-minute express workout, there's at least one person, often more, who just camp out on a particular machine instead of doing circuit training, often just scrolling through their phone for much longer than even a set of an exercise. When I politely ask if they're doing the circuit, to imply that's what these machines are used for, they usually act like I'm the one being inconsiderate of them.

The gym its self is fine.. it's the other customers...little gym etiquette.. leave weights on Smith machines all the time, don't wipe off benches after use and a couple that just sits on equipment for extended rest(not really rest) periods on their phones. I'm an early morning gym visitor and it's ridiculous to have to put other people's equipment up every time I go and to not be able to use machines with someone just sitting on their phone. Stand to the side if that's what you want to do. Manager should write in big letters on the mirrors to put weights back. I know it's an inexpensive gym but being courteous is free.

So this place has been charging my card since the better part of 2022 without my knowledge because it is an account that I rarely use. I called and was given the run around. Instead of the manager getting on the phone at my request. He relayed messages through his team.

Was told to call a number. Called the number and was told that I’d have to contact the planet fitness. Duh. Called and spoke to the same young lady. Who did I guess. Another related message.

Finally the manager Drayson gets on the phone and I explain to this guy that I’ve never stepped foot in a planet fitness in my life. As I know that they would be able to see this. I’m a member of midtown athletic club. So I know that that track entry.

I was asked to verify my info. I gave the man my email address and address. Neither matched in their system. He said that the email address was off by 1 number. He refused to verify my address because he knew it wouldn’t match.

He blatantly told me that it was me who created the membership even though it was not. Clearly it was a scam. Who signs up for a membership and not use the gym for the 2 years signed up.

He was very rude and lacked understanding. This is why you don’t have kids in charge

Lots of shirtless and half naked guys in the men’s room, and a female worker came in here and started cleaning. Honestly not sure how there’s so many good reviews…I have had a black card for 6+ years, been to many pf’s and never worked out in a gym so hot in my life lol. I moved down the street about 2 months ago and the entire time I’ve been here the ac has not been working properly. Super uncomfortable to work out in. Besides that, the staff is great. Just gets extremely crowded which makes the heat even more unbearable. Would not recommend

Not going to lie I have no idea how this gym has a 4.4 star review. I just moved into the area and im disapointed by this gym.
This gym has a odd smell and I cant focus while lifting here. The fact that its so hot in there also makes it really uncomfortable.
Then, the staff is horrible. The gym would be out of paper towels in every corner and no way I can clean my machine. Also, while the gym is out of paper towels in every corner, the staff is at the front desk, on there phone, not one or two but three or four of them not helping and socializing while not replenishing paper towels.

Refusal to let me cancel my membership in January. Every single time I show up no matter what time, 11 pm, 12 pm, 1 am, 2 am, 3am, 6am the womans bathroom, which has a sign saying someone's cleaning it. I have to wait thirty minutes to an hour for someone to be done cleaning it. I can't ever tell it's been cleaned. There's never anyone here. I may see one or two people show up. Their just putting the sign up so nobody comes, and they don't have to do anything all night. Tonight finally confirmed it. Dude puts the sign up, rolls the cart in the bathroom, stands next to it, plays on the phone, and then walks out, making the sign down. Just a minute later, he puts the sign back up. I'm getting extremely agitated about it ESPECIALLY SINCE I DONT WANT THE MEMBERSHIP IN THE FIRST PLACE! BEEN PAYING SINCE JANUARY NOW IT'S JULY AND I ONLY COME CAUSE IF IMA BE FORCED TO PAY FOR IT I SHOULD AT LEAST GO. BUT DAMN I TRIED CANCELING SINCE I GOT A Y MEMBERSHIP FOR MY KIDS.
