Yo no sabía que no sé podía realizar un ejercicio que llevó desde que abrió planet Fitnes haciéndolo y en vez de orientarme, me dijo. "No me importa lo que hagan en PR, en mi gimnasio éso no sé puede hacer, cómo lo vuelva hacer le voy a pedir que se vaya". Realmente aprendí que sólo Dios te da él entendimiento de tratar a las personas. Un buen líder y gerente guía, orienta y encamina con bondad, sabiduría y sobre todo misericordia. Gym was great! Lots of equipment and very clean. The staff and members are extremely nice. The only issue is the manager who apparently has issues with folks who take working out seriously. We were immediately approached about dropping weights loud (which we didn’t) and he did the same to another woman on a smith machine. Unfortunately he embodies the typical Planet Fitness complaints where you are welcome as long as you don’t take working out serious. We won’t be back.

It's probably the smallest Planet Fitness I've been, but they have at least one of every machine you need and they do have the recovery spa items. Also very clean, and just remodeled a bit so everything is almost new and extremely functional.

Posted signs on the 11th stating the gym would close on the 18th for renovations that could take up to 3 months. In the fine print of the contract you have to cancel membership by the 10th to avoid being charged for the following month. EXTREMELY SHADY. Never again with Planet Fitness. I do not and will not recommend to anyone. Not to mention at this particular location the employees are very lazy. Always in the room behind the desk or even sitting on top of the desk in some cases. Really never got a sense this place was being managed by a professional.

Great fitness center with lots of equipment. Very clean and I love that they have plenty of spray and paper towels to clean the equipment after use. The facility includes restroom, showers, lockers, and an area to change. You can tan and use the massage chairs if you have the black card membership. I've been to gyms around the world and Planet Fitness is always a great option if you are looking to get a good workout in without anyone bothering you or passing too much judgement. Definitely a welcoming environment. The staff is really kind and helpful as well.

A nice place to exercise, but very hot. The air conditioning doesn't work. Sometimes, when there are a few people in the machine area, the gym feels like an oven because it's so hot. I've been here for a year and in the summer the temperature is uncomfortable. Please fix it 🙏🏻

We visit Orlando every year (from Toronto) and my teenage son and I wanted to check out a real gym instead of our hotel gym. Planet Fitness did not disappoint! The staff is very friendly, the gym is clean and has a great selections of equipment.
And purchased day passes a total of four times and it was definitely worth it and we’ll definitely be back next year. Thanks Raul for being so nice and helpful and all of the staff!

I give a very high rating to the planet fitness in Dr. Phillips. It is a very clean gym with lots of options for popular machines. For once a gym bathroom doesn’t make me feel like my feet will now fall off in 5 to 7 business days if I need to take a shower.

Well I do wish that the shower curtain liners were wider and there was more than one overly used ankle strap for the cable machines I have no regret in purchasing my subscription to this gym.

Just Came in today and they where closed. If you wanna go to another one you have to pay for the black card membership so you could visit another one which are open. So, this Planet Fitness is awesome. It is small but it has everything you need. I was just a tourist, so I'm not down there everyday, obviously, but the only negative is the Black Card area is so small, why pay for it?
That is the only negative I have come across there. And, I don't mean this in a weird or funny way, but the people/clientele there are beautiful which is a positive because it's motivating. I would love to have the aesthetics of some of the guys working out there. Seriously.

This location has been without hot water for several weeks in a row several times throughout the entire building. Putting the public at risk both for showing and handsinks in public restroom.

People are using the facility, then working out potentially spreading sickness due to poor hand-wash (cold water).

Lack of good management.

I honestly don't really like the Dr. Phillips location simply because there are other locations nearby that are much larger and have much, much better black card amenities as well as better equipment, like the Florida Mall location. When I signed up I specifically asked what the cancellation options are, I was told:
1) In app and 2) In person. I even confirmed it BEFORE hand.

I abruptly had to relocate and couldnt cancel in person.

I spoke with a PF worker on OCT 4 2024 and they assured my membership eas no longer active.

I reached out to the main HQ, nothing.

I even called billing, billing doesnt process cancellations.

Im still being charged a monthly fee. I want my membershil cancelled and my money back.

BBB is involved. Then lawsuit if not resolved. No cap.

The worst place I even been to in my whole life, and as of now September 2024. They hired a very rude unprofessional “manager” she has no etiquette she doesn’t know how to talk to people at all. And she canceled my membership for Jonson 😅 I am really not mad the only reason I go there because it’s close. But otherwise machines sucks, the roof is always leaking, they take 2/3 months to fix a machine if it’s malfunctioning. But the worst thing they did is hired a rude impolite women to work there.

Just joined the gym did not realize they actually closed at 7 PM which does not work for me. Wouldn't it be so bad except for the guy working there? Basically came up to me and said do you see the lights off were closed? "Get out" pretty much is what he said. I've never been treated that way for something I'm paying for and I'm gonna cancel just joinedand thoughtit was 24/7 not 7pm close!!. 7 PM is a ridiculous time to close the gym on any day because a lot of us don't get off work until 6 or 7. I would say 9pm would be the earliest that I can handle my gym & closing that would be a lot more reasonable.

This place is taking money out of my checking account illegally. Jose said I would have my money back in 3 to 5 business days that he escalated it. But it has now been 8 days and no money. Moe the area director was suppose to call me with in a hour yep no phone call nothing. Spoke to Alexis the first day she did nothing went on vacation. Most managers should have taken care if it before going on vacation but not her. There is a very large girl lulu behind the counter thought it was a laughing matter behind the counter it was caught on video. Worse company and location I have ever seen!!!

Absolutely everything! From the 1st day I called to my 1st day at the gym Alexys ( Asst Mgr , hope I am spelling her name correctly) , has impressed me way beyond my expectations. I have been at gyms before on and off for the last 20 years and have never seen anyone so dedicated like her . Watching her cleaning the machines and the bathrooms with the same energy, effort and efficiency as she greets us in the front desk is superb ! The gym is neglected every day, there's equipment that's damaged and there's a lot of damage. on the floor full of paper, the worst. in. everything and have an aqua bath. cold. Because the records are messed up, it's absurd for a company like this to leave things to chance. like the glasses. and the mirrors. dirty. There has been no hot water here for at least 3 to 4 weeks. It is June 2024. I work all over Orlando so I go to this one, Ocoee and Lee Rd depending on where I’m working. I called before I went to that side of town to see if the water worked and they said yes when in fact it doesn’t. That makes me wonder how sanitary it is. Oh my, just no. Pick a different location.
Sweat puddles in front of machines, the only pec fly machine is broken, guy slamming weights that staff ignored, one of the desk guys stared at me while on treadmill no joke check the damn camera, and there is not enough grips/handles for all the cable machines for all of us to use.
Mens restroom: Severe mold in 2 stalls, 2 broken and extrememly loose shower handles/NO HOT WATER/Shower puddles sat there for over 2hrs/all shower floors and walls had soap scum and bacteria/2 coat hangers barely attached to the wall/All shower chairs appeared to have urine or feces on them.
What is going on? Why are we paying for this? Where is the District Manager? I want my money back this month.

Until now I have never had a issue with this location, however today when I got in the shower the water was freezing. Another lady said the hot water had been out all week. Some sort of notice would have been nice instead of standing there waiting for it to warm up which never happened

After a day at a conference in town that I spent in one or another ballroom, I felt a need for thirty minutes on the circuit. Relaxing, refreshing and a nice time. This PF is in good shape and all of the equipment was working. At 8:00 on a Tuesday, it was mostly empty.

Locker room was tidy and the shower worked well. Plenty of space in the changing stall attached to the shower to hang up my stuff and with no one else getting a shower, hot water was great.

Overall a good workout. Neighborhood felt a little sketch but no problems.

I don't live in Orlando, Florida. we are on vacation, and I and my husband work out back home up in New york State, and I must say, this gym is small compare to our gyms..I didn't feel comfortable working out at this planet fitness at all.. all the exercise equipment was so close together like u couldn't even move 😪

The Planet Fitness at 8956 Turkey Lake Road #1000 was ridiculous. I am a black card member and regardless of where I check in, my info should be easily accessible. They individuals couldn’t find my information and said that despite being a BCM, I should at least be able to check in remotely. Then on top of that, the showers were cold or barely warm. Drains were clogged and bugs were crawling everywhere. NEVER going back to this Planet Fitness again.

I only go to this location 2 days a week because it is close to my work, not because I enjoy training at this location. The bathrooms are always dirty, they smell like urine, many machines are out of service, the disinfection stations usually do not have paper, some lights are out inside this location, this makes it dangerous to train and it looks in poor condition.

Alexis! So far best part of my experience She was helpful from the very first day I walked into the Orlando club. My work brought me to town and I usually try to find my nearby gym when traveling right away. Acclimation at first can sometimes be intimidating but she made it easy, friendly and was so great! She also (@ 2 weeks into my trip) guided me through some extra exercises I hoped to add to my workout routine. And! I travel for work and use planet fitness to workout every morning. I’ve seen a lot of gyms. This one was by far the dirtiest I’ve ever seen. The bathroom had pieces of toilet paper all over the floor and people left their garbage behind. It smelled terrible. The shower choices were the handicap one that doesn’t get hot. The water stays cold or two other showers. One had enough hair on the ground you could make a wig and an empty conditioner bottle. The other had hair stuck to the wall all over the shower and a used disposable razor. I would avoid this gym for sure.
