My regular location is closed for renovations. If it doesn't reopen looking like this one, I won't bother to go back. This location is amazing, from the locker/shower room to the Black Card Spa area and the gym room itself. The staff is friendly and courteous. Parking can get crowded, but hey, a little walk won't hurt you. You're going to the gym to workout!

Love planet fitness South Chase location . The staff is very friendly, very useful and their young session trainer is so useful when available which is no fault of hers. The place is clean and there are plenty of machines to go around. The parking can get a little tight as far as space is concerned but once you get in you should not be disappointed. Still waiting on the promised new machine upgrades though.

The overnight attendant is horrible. This guy obviously is handicapped and I am not judgemental and I embrace everyone. He, however, misunderstood what I said to him and was typing my information incorrectly. I tried correcting him in a cordial manner so that I could gain entry into the gym. He said it wrong several times and got mad at me. What kind of customer service is that? I approached him calm and collective and he came at me with an attitude. I bought a new phone and am locked out of my account as of 3 days ago. I gave him my phone number and email address and he typed it in wrong and he told me I had to leave. Unbelievable!

Worst planet fitness I’ve ever visited. The manager Juan is real aggressive. He does not problem solve as a manager, instead of diffusing situations he prefers to argue to prove his point. He has zero professionalism. He doesn’t have proper manager training. I suggest visiting another planet fitness. “Judgment free zone” doesn’t apply to this fitness facility. I enjoy the facility itself, though I’ve had repeated negative experiences with two female front desk employees that have genuinely impacted how welcomed I feel.

There’s one young, short girl with curly hair at night who is consistently cold and unapproachable. She never acknowledges me with a simple “hello” or “goodbye,” and often comes across as though she doesn’t want to be there at all and constantly on the phone. It’s disappointing to see that this kind of energy when I walk in.

There’s another young girl during afternoon weekday shift who is on the heavier side and wears glasses occasionally and she also shows no interest in engaging with members in a friendly or professional way. She never greets or acknowledges me, and again, it makes the environment feel cold and uninviting.

In contrast, the male staff have always been kind, welcoming, and professional. They make an effort to interact positively with me and help create the kind of atmosphere that I expect from a community-centered gym.

Talk about a comeback! Initially, I was disappointed when this gym closed for renos because I was forced to visit some of the other locations but the wait was SO worth it! Now... this location easily falls within my top 3 favorite "Planets" in the Orlando and surrounding areas. The manager here is super hands on and doesn't just dictate but really works well with and alongside his staff. This location has great lighting, machine placement and air quality control. It is always clean here and the owner was thoughtful enough to not only provide a variety of machines but a multitude of them so you never have to worry about waiting to finish a workout. I couldn't say enough good things about this place and would definitely recommend it to others.

Hello My name is Peter C I recently resigned up my membership
Today and I signed up for the more expensive membership thinking I could get guest pass to let my son and wife try it out to add them to my plan that was my plan so I sent them 7 days passes and I went with them to the gym on OBT Hunter Creek Location today around 6pm on Friday and the 2 girls at the desk wouldn’t let them in with me! Saying my plan doesn’t allow me to bring guests it use to when I had it before I said and they said no it’s not allowed on my plan I said how much is it to add it they said they didn’t know because I signed up online I told them that I get emails all the time that said with the membership you can bring a guest!
Very disappointed that this is how you treat a returning member that was going to add my son and wife . I asked for the manager they said that there was not one on Duty! What happened to customer service? My son got a free summer membership for Planet Fitness! And you won’t even let me bring a guests so I told the girl to cancel my membership asap very disappointed and I will be leaving negative reviews all over if they are not held accountable and if I don’t get an apology very rude girls! They should be written up asap! They didn’t have name tags so I have no idea what there names are but you lost me as a customer forever and I will tell all my friends and family members about LA Fitness

I’m a little annoyed this is the second time I’ve tried tanning after my workout and the computer is “temporarily out of service”. The worker is no where in sight and I know he just started working as I witnessed the shift change so he’s taking a a break 2 hours into his shift?? But the last hour of my workout I never saw him. Every other time I’ve come there has been a worker and I’ve been able to tan.

The gym is ok. The staff is nice enough. However, management definitely have issues. For the first months, I have been charged for late fees without any notification. I thought it was just the member fee. Every month, I didn’t get the detailed bills and have no idea what they charged for. Finally, they decided to notify me in the app and that’s how I realized my payment info was incorrect. I corrected my payment info in the phone with store manager. Didn’t fix the issue. I got charge for late fees again. I re-entered my same bank info into my account in their website. The issue was finally fixed.
I cancelled my membership in store in person with one of their staff. The staff told me it was cancelled right there. The next month, I got charge for the next month. I logged in my online account and found out the membership was not cancelled. I had to cancel it by myself and prayed it work.
Apparently, the staff is not doing their jobs at all including the store manager. So be careful when it comes to payments and don’t rely on them actually being helpful.

I've been in this club for years now, manager (Juan) is always available greeting you by name and going around to make sure everything is perfect. Biggest highlight for me is always going to be the customer service and at this club, the overall experience is always great. This location is always clean. If you go at certain hours, it will be crowded as it will be at any gym around. Self checking is very convenient. As I share in every feedback received, a boxing punching bag for those who love it for cardio is always recommended (just a personal preference).Continue with the great work guys.

The worst gym experience in the entire Orlando area, DO NOT COME TO THIS LOCATION, the person at the front desk, whose name he told me is “JD” is a totally insolent and rude person, disrespectful from the moment one arrives, now, wanting to cancel the membership because for what they charge the facilities are very bad and there are very old machines for the year we are in, this guy “JD” told me that he had to pay a month in advance and I canceled on the 13th of the month because the “billing cycle is until the 10th day” bone That if I cancel because I’m not going to go for the rest of the month I have to pay for something I’m not going to use! An absolute shame, and by the way the rough and rude attitude of this “JD” is what makes one angry the most, because if they spoke to you with respect and well it would be one thing, but the anger goes to this person who is disrespectful and does not know how to do his job, I repeat do not come, there are better gym (24 hs / LA fitness / Crunch fitness) try those before coming here.
