This has been my favorite gym since I moved here, but the hours appear inconsistent on the website. I was there at a Wednesday before five and it was closed. Wednesday is one of the 24 hour days so me and a few other people were confused. I think management needs to address this issue if they’re going to put that they are open 24 hours a day for certain days and then have people wait in the parking lot. People playing their days around the times that it’s open.

I’ve been a member at Planet Fitness for years but once I moved from NYC it’s been my favorite, and I can honestly say it’s one of the best decisions I’ve made for my health and routine. The gym is always clean, the staff is super friendly #StaffAngelina&Leroy🙌🏽🤩, and the atmosphere is welcoming! Definitely no judgment, just good vibes! 💪

Great location and atmosphere.
This gym is HUGE, with many machines, excellent customer service and plenty parking spaces.
My negative comments so far are about the trash cans, which are fully of paper around 8am and the shower water pressure in the ladies room. Please adjust it. The best pressure is between 40 and 80 PSI.

I never thought I would feel uncomfortable and discriminated against at a gym that proudly promotes the motto “Judgment Free Zone.” Unfortunately, that’s exactly what happened during my recent visit to Planet Fitness.

I was wearing an outfit that was completely appropriate, not offensive, and certainly not disrupting anyone’s workout. I wasn’t bothering anyone, just focused on my own fitness journey. Despite this, I was approached mid-workout and told to pull my shorts down because someone else complained.

It was deeply upsetting—not only because it interrupted my workout, but because I have worked so hard to feel confident in the clothes I wear. For Planet Fitness to take someone else’s judgmental opinion seriously while disregarding my comfort and experience as a member completely goes against everything their brand claims to stand for. The idea that someone else’s discomfort with my body or my clothing was prioritized over my right to exist and feel safe in that space is both hurtful and hypocritical.

I even took the time to file a formal complaint through their process, hoping for at least an acknowledgment. I never received a follow-up or response. Meanwhile, the person who made the baseless, judgmental complaint seems to have been taken seriously immediately.

I joined Planet Fitness because of its promise to be inclusive and welcoming. Sadly, that promise was broken, and I left feeling ashamed and judged for no valid reason. I hope they reevaluate how they handle situations like this in the future—because no one should be made to feel this way in a space that claims to be for everyone.

I love that the gym wants to get kids into fitness over the summer but honestly, it’s become a bit chaotic. Machines are always taken, big groups just hanging around talking, and the vibe is completely different now. As a regular member, it’s been frustrating.

Maybe a dedicated time slot for the summer kids program could help? Like during off-peak hours because right now, after-work sessions are packed, and it’s tough to get a proper workout in. Just a thought to keep things balanced for everyone.

I've been a gym member since they open TJis location. Gym is clean never crowded, but too many times no one is here to open on Saturdays and Sundays. If the gym opens at 7, then workers should be here at 6:30 or go back to 24 hours. This is ridiculous and bad for business. The manager should be responsible for opening on weekends. No need to respond less response, more action to fix the problem.

I’ve been coming to this Planet Fitness for a while, and unfortunately, it’s been a disappointing experience lately mainly due to the lack of proper equipment maintenance and the manager’s attitude.

There are several machines that have been broken or partially working for over a month and a half with no sign of repair. One side of the yellow cable machine has been unusable for weeks, the seated leg curl is semi-broken, and the assisted pull-up machine has peeling rubber grips that twist and make it difficult to use. The Smith machines are also noticeably misaligned.

On top of all this, the manager is dismissive and carries a snobby, unapproachable attitude when concerns are brought up. It feels like they genuinely don’t care about the condition of the gym or the experience of the members.

For a gym that prides itself on being “judgment-free” and welcoming, this location falls short especially when it comes to upkeep and customer service.

Super great and friendly staff. I have been to quite a few Planet Fitness locations around the nation, both independently operated and corporate operated, in addition to having visited and spoken with the Director of Operations for the Central/South Florida corporate locations. Needless to say, I know a good PF when I see one. This is one of them. No location is perfect, but the staff here has always gone above and beyond to make the experience great.

Being in Regional Management myself, it’s really great to see how proactive the staff is and how ready they are to jump into action should something be out of place or go wrong.

This gym checks all the boxes for me. Cleanliness is a top priority, and both the restrooms and gym floor are always spotless — which is a must for me. The equipment is well-maintained, and the environment feels welcoming every time I walk in.

Today, Saturday, I was finishing up my workout and since the facility closes at 9pm, 12 minutes (yes I counted) the person that was at the desk asked 14 people that were working out to please leave because she was by herself and needed to clean early to go home early. She went to each person and told them to leave. What is wrong with this? When the customer signs up, they pay full price and don’t get a perk or discount for when the club will “close early” because the person has to clean…. As a new member this is not a good impression of the facility for me and those who manage it. If I pay my fees and I adhere to the clubs rules why and I being kicked out because the associate has to go home.. we have to go home. If the notice would have been given 5 mins before, no problem. Maybe I will cancel my membership or go to another location.

I give them one star because I can not give them zero. These people are THIEVES. My daugther canceled her membership about a year ago and last month I realized they were still charging me every month…twice the amount she usually paid. When she went and complained she was told that by mistake her account was freeze instead of cancelled and the system re-activate it again. She requested a refund and of course they said they can not issue any…I am so mad that I’ll file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau to see if they stop doing this to customers. First time I saw a planet fitness, they only had mostly treadmills.
Not the case today
It's a good gym for quick workouts but if you want to max out, pair this gym with another one that has power racks.
I like the calisthenics area and dumbell area is good enough.
The mostly 24hours and several locations make this gym a good option for the maintenance workouts.

There’s usually available machines except for the weight benches and bars, they are always full. There is always a group of women exercising together and that’s great, but they are loud. Yelling from across the gym to one another, singing to the top of their lungs for attention, yelling at the other women while they exercise (profanity about how their butt looks) but of course using other words. The staff never say’s anything to them. I find it offensive and intrusive on others at the gym.

This is one of the CLEANEST gym I’ve been too, looking at other reviews and honestly people ask for way too much. No place is perfect but this gym definitely has great workers and overall great atmosphere. I’ve been to Amped in Pembroke Pines and the amount of times that I’ve been in that gym and it’s dirty in the bathroom and weights are not re-racked… same thing with YOUfit it’s always dirty and never kept great. I see the workers always cleaning here and keeping everything in place as much as they can even though sometimes at night it might be busy. Overall love this gym. Me encanta este gimnasio. No hay mucha gente, muy limpio y los muchachos al frente son muy amables. Vanessa me atendió en español y ella me hizo sentir bien cómoda. Los baños siempre están limpios. Y por fin encontré un gimnasio que siempre esta limpio.

This gym received regular cleaning two years ago, with a cleaning lady attending daily. Since the beginning of the year, the management team has let go of the cleaning staff, and now the gym is filthy and unpleasant. Occasionally at the gym, you find that there is no paper available to clean the bench. This gym is really filthy, and it baffles me that Planet Fitness located at 14802 Pines Blvd, Pembroke Pines 33027 has decided to hike their prices despite the poor cleanliness. For more than two months, two cable machines have been out of order, and the manager doesn't know when they will call a technician to fix them. All machines show signs of age and are not functioning properly. This location requires the health department to evaluate the facility to prevent disease outbreaks.

I have spent a life time in gyms. When I moved to Pembroke I chose to join Planet 1) Price 2) Proximity to my house. So for $10 a month you can't really complain. It has good equipment. You get a good workout especially if you know what you're doing. It is not too crowded. However, recently the gym has become very dirty. The gym is also messy, no one is on the floor picking up. There is dust , dirt and garbage around the equipment. The trash cans are always full. Aditionally, The equipment remains broken without repairs for weeks. They need to hire cleaning staff urgently. Front counter staff don't care as they are young and inexperienced. If the situation doesn't improve quickly I and many members will have to cancel our memberships and go elsewhere. The manger doesn't care and does not appreciate it's members. Sadly, I can't recommend this gym st this time.

Brandon and Esther are phenomenal employees here at this west pines location. Great, Hospitality and Service; They are Well - Rounded individuals with a great smile and sense of community one of the many reason’s I keep coming back to this location 😄. Both are a great addition to the planet fitness team!
