If I could leave a zero I would. I have requested this facility delete my credit card information from their system on more than one occasion. I’ve gone into the location four times. I’ve also called and spoke with two different assistant managers, twice, each. They keep wrongfully trying to charge my credit card for charges that are not owed to them.

A Monday morning workout and shower. After a hot day of driving from Palm Beach to Sebring and sleeping in a warm RV, it was a nice opportunity to stop here at PF. I have their Black Card membership so I can visit any PF worldwide. Fabulous!

The place was almost completely empty at 6am when I was here and didn't fill up much more by the time I left. Maybe some of that is due to the season when the snowbirds have all gone back up north?

An easy run through the Thirty Minute Circuit where I was alone and undisturbed followed by a good shower with enough hot water. A positive experience all around.

I just recently started my workout journey And the last two nights I have went to planet fitness in sebring and there has been one lady working. I have not yet to catch her name, but she wears glasses and she is absolutely phenomenal. I have extremely bad anxiety so if I see anything out of the blue or suspicious I’m on top of it! I explained to her The issue I was seeing with a vehicle out in the parking lot and she made sure that she watched us when we walked out to our car because we felt unsafe and she made sure that she kept an eye on us the whole entire time we were there and made sure we were safe and felt safe! I greatly appreciate that because this is a very dangerous world that we live in and not too many people will actually make sure that you’re safe the entire time!! We were there about an hour give or take! Just an amazing person all together!!🫶🏽 I also, absolutely love the Hydro massages!! planet fitness has definitely made it easy for me to enjoy my workout journey so far!

This is the best fitness place I have ever been to, and I've been to many in my 75 years. The staff is very friendly and the equipment is all in good shape. I also love the Aqua-massage bed. I haven't made use of the tanning rooms yet, but may in the future. The only complaint I have is that they don't monitor the 30 minute workout section, although the sign says they do. So several people use it, but not as it is supposed to be used, even though the exact same machines are on the main floor and not in use.

When I joined this club with silver sneakers and pay extra for massage bed and chair but when they took the 14 dollars out 1 hour later it went back in my bank I called multiple times and was told (NEXT I COME I CAN ADD A CHECKING ACCOUNT) there was no date given they charged me a late fee because I didn't come right in dawntay said he can't help me he then turned his back to I Stated I am disabled and he completely refused to help so stay away from him he has no respect for people who are disabled

I lived here a year before trying this gym. I held off because of some of the reviews I read and wish I hadn’t. I moved here from Jacksonville and had trouble finding a gym similar to the ones up there but this one did not disappoint. The equipment is well maintained, clean, well made and there were lots of varieties of machines and free weights. I spoke with a manager by the name of Justin and he was very easy to talk to, a good listener, knowledgable, efficient and kind. Thank you for a great workout environment and for kind people you employ.

I came to this planet fitness for the first time and I asked for a free pass. They said I have to pay 10 $ for the being a 1st time guess. I was like bro , it’s like getting the whole membership. That was really stupid. I told the employee there that I downloaded the app and saw the free pass and showed to her and she still didn’t scan it, and wanted me to pay 10$ for guess. So I left.

Planet Fitness is a shady business, they ask for a ton of personal information that have nothing to do with sport, also ask for private financial information like bank account and routing info.

This is stupidity at highest level. This is a basic gym not a bank or stock market.

Extremely unacceptable.

Offered to pay cash upfront for a year in advance. Still wanted my routing info. They don't accept credit cards either. They want your post private and sensitive banking info. Hard NO.

I wonder if they have any cyber security certificates to validate what they do and how they store the personal and financial data. And what am I supposed to do when this gets leaked out on the internet as it usually does over time.

CRAZY. I'm not sure this kind of business practices from Planet Fitness is for people

Do NOT go here!! Find a different gym that’s not money hungry! Terrible experience and customer service… Due to not being able to afford back in December I “cancelled” my membership through a letter that they requested and was told I was good to go by a gentleman named Justin. To only find out many months later that my membership was in fact not cancelled and has been accumulating a hefty sum with added on late fees. After contacting the home gym I was told at first they would remove the charges to now they can only take care of the late fees and I have to pay for the balance. This is completely unacceptable and apparently happens so often. I was going to continue with Planet Fitness but after this ABSOLUTELY NOT!! Save yourself the headache find a better gym!

Place is clean, employees keep the sprays and paper towels stocked. Front desk staff is usually friendly and welcoming unless they are busy chatting with someone. Machines that go out of service typically fixed promptly, if not, at least there are alternative options. Great variety of entertainment on the TVs, haven't tried plugging in to listen to the gyms music option because my earphones are Bluetooth but I can't imagine it's that bad.

Only complaint is not about the gym or employees, it's the members spending more time texting or talking on their phones instead of using the machines!

I have not used the tanning booths or massage chairs so can't comment on those but they looked clean and mostly available when I toured them on my first visit with the free pass.

First of all to mention that the installation has no problems, the real problems come when you decide to cancel the subscription or when you get a double bill in a given month, with the whole faculty they remove an x2 of the membership for the supposed reason of: "we believe that you will not have enough funds to pay the following month", how realizing this they have the audacity to withdraw extra money without authorization without knowing what needs I have at that time and even worse, as the government allows these companies to do this kind of actions towards the population, this without Mention the obstacles to withdrawing your membership. Terrible service to be honest, I would never recommend these gyms, not even to my biggest enemy.

Great place to work out. They have basically all the equipment you need and they have duplicates of most machines as well as duplicates of dumbbells as well as a good amount of stations when it comes to cables and lap pull-down machines and things like that.

The place is really big and has a lot of equipment for the amount of people that are there at least during off-season times.

I have yet to be there during the November to March winter season where I'm told a lot more people are in town as snowbirds but so far as of October the place never has a lot of people in it which is really good.

Also, they don't play annoying music and they don't play the music too loud. I've been to many gyms that blast music at extremely high volume and it make it even worse it's horrible music. I've been to gyms that blast music that has extreme levels of profanity in it and they're pumping it at volume that you can barely hear yourself talking as if you're in a dance club. I think playing music that has profanity in it At a gym is extremely stupid because only a few people like music with f-bombs and singing about pimping women and drug dealing. I'm in the gyms that pump music at extreme levels where the music is hip hop rap and they're talking about murdering people. I'm glad this gym doesn't do that cuz that's horrible stuff.

I find the people that work out there to be exceptionally friendly as well. I don't know why that is cuz most gyms are actually not like that but literally the first 3 weeks I've been there people have come up to me and just had small talk or give me fist bumps as if like I'm famous or something which is funny. But that's just the testament I think to this town being really friendly but what surprising is that if there's any place in a friendly town that will have people that might not be as friendly as the rest of the town it would be a gym because that's where you're going to get some attitudes from people who think they're cooler than others but that's not the case in this gym at all so I don't know what it is about this gym that produces very friendly members. I think it's got to be the town cuz I don't really understand how the management could have any part in that.

The only downsides to this gym and why I gave it 4 out of 5 stars instead of 5 is that there's a trainer there that is obsessed with being the home monitor of the place. This is the kind of individual that if The gym has 10 rules or 20 rules then this guy will have memorized them in the first two days of working there and he'll not just enforce them but he'll constantly be on a conscious look for anyone breaking these rules so that he can walk up to them and tell them that they need to leave the gym for whatever rule they broke. And like I said he's the hall monitor type because he doesn't just warn people and tell them not to do again He literally tells him they have to go home. For instance, I didn't know the gym has a no flip flop policy which to me I find kind of absurd because if you're going to drop a weight on your foot it's going to get pretty badly damaged no matter if you're wearing flip-flops or running shoes but whatever if it's a rule that's okay but I find it ridiculous that this trainer literally walked up to me to tell me about the rule and then told me I can no longer work out there and waited until I left the gym. He literally saw me out of the gym and it's not like I said anything back to him or was angry at all yet he still did nothing but see me out of the gym. That's taking the whole rule thing to another level where you just like power. That's a guy that gets any semblance of power and it goes to his head immediately and he has to enforce it because this power that he gets defines him. So I drove 25 minutes away to go work out and before I could do one set I got this guy on me telling me I got to leave and that's what I had to do. I'm pretty sure most if not all of the other people who work there would have just told me about the rule and then said don't do it again next time make sure to wear running shoes.

I can only speak for the location is Sebring, FL. That is the only location I have seen.
If someone asked me to describe the club, I would say that it is clean and maintained beautifully. The staff is knowledgeable, friendly and always seem to be cleaning, refilling paper towels, and disinfectant bottles.
The machine/free weight area is chock full of good decisions, which make the ability to get a varied workout very easy to accomplish. There are tanning booths and massaging chairs, a 30-minute workout zone and probably a few things that I do not even know about.
It is a good solid gym.

The gym is ok... They apparently only clean in the afternoon, just FYI (per the GM)... Do NOT respond negatively to any survey or an uber-aggressive general manager will likely call you and chastise you (very unprofessionally). Overall, I wouldn't recommend this particular location (the staff isn't as knowledgeable or as friendly as other locations), but Planet Fitness overall is fine (and I'm sure the uber-aggressive general manager is now going to cancel my membership for posting a negative review).
