It’s such a cozy place, Johnny is very knowledgeable and the place feels like your own private gym for yourself. Way better than a big box gym that has garbage contracts that refuse to let you cancel. This gym is clean and serious people come to train.

If you’re serious about working out, this is the gym you want. It has everything you need from dumb bells to machines to benches. One big pro I really like about this gym is that people actually have the common decency to re-rack the weights (which it’s reinforced) and are serious about working out. One drawback is that it is a small gym so it can get crowded quickly, so just go before rush hour.

The owner is a cool dude and down to earth.
I really don’t know what people are talking about on here saying negative comments, not to mention the membership is reasonable compared to the rest of the money hungry scamming gyms in Miami.

After a gym hiatus of 10 plus years, I have found my gym home. It’s a “old school” type of gym where you will get results. The owner is very involved and you can tell his gym is a labor of love. The staff along with the gym goers are friendly and I never feel silly for asking if I’m doing something incorrectly. No cold plunges or saunas- just good equipment and one’s desire to keep from falling apart and age well.

How can people $40 for this garage gym? The owner is creepy, had a bad attitude and looks like you have your weird uncle next to you. Such expensive initiation fees and insane membership price. Come on, this is like a garage with weights, the owner should be thankful for the people actually paying for more than $20 for this. Please save your money and don’t pay for this hole in the wall. Here’s some advice to the owner: start giving 50% on your membership so people can give you good reviews, although you probably already do to the people who are paying for this gym anyways. Don’t waste your money on this “gym”.

Best gym in all of Miami, I say that with all honesty..

The minute you walk in you’re greeted with a smile by the owner Johnny and his lovely wife Oddy two of the most genuine people I’ve met.
The whole atmosphere of the gym is a very family oriented one, every knows one another and it’s all love. People always re-rack their weights and everything is always maintained very neat and clean.

$10 day pass? For a clean gym with no creeps? Heck yes. If you are visiting family in West Kendall and need to escape...go here. You'll get a pump while leaving toxic family at home to eat the leftovers you are already sick of.

Water is available for purchase only. Basically bring your own water bottle. There also a few beverages and protein bars at the front.

It's a simple straightforward iron pumping gym. As it should be. No gimmicks. No excuses. Jump on a machine or grab some free weights and do your business.

This is a great gym, everyone here shows respect in regards to the equipment and each other. The gym has positive and happy vibes. The trainers know what they are doing. I absolutely love this gym. By far the best gym in Miami. Great environment. Hardworking people that go in to workout and let others work as well. No hastle in finding weights. It’s very organized and clean. Love the friendly staff. Always available for any questions or concerns. The muscle shop in the gym is also great. They always have a stocked variety of nutrition goodies that go hand in hand with my fitness plan. I would recommend this gym to everyone and anyone who is serious about their fitness life and journey.

I'm giving this place 5 stars because I'd like to see it stay open long enough to improve. First off, it's nothing like the original Porky's. The hours suck. The thing that made the original Porky's great was that it was open 24/7. This place is only open from 12 to 5 on Sunday. Also, it is tiny. I mean microscopic. More than 20 people in there... and it becomes a sardine can.

Great staff, lots of knowledge, esp compared to franchise gyms. Clean, great condition and not working out in a dark place is great. People put weights away here, which is a huge problem LA Fitness and UFC GYMS can't seem to enforce or care about
